How does the Assisi III scandal fit into the dogma?

Catholic Mission said...

The dogma says everyone needs to convert into the Catholic Church for salvation. Every one needs to be an explicit member of the Church and there are no exceptions. There are no known exceptions of someone saved in invincible ignorance, the baptism of desire, the ‘seeds of the Word’, a good conscience etc.
So there are no exceptions at Assisi.
According to the teachings of the Catholic Church (Cantate Domino, Council of Florence, Vatican Council II LG 14, AG 7) all the non Catholic participants are oriented to Hell unless they convert into the Catholic Church.

So you adhere to the Fr. Feeney's teachings?

I believe the Bible, Fr.Leonard Feeney, the Church Fathers, popes and saints were saying that everyone needs to be an explicit member of the Catholic Church.

The dogma like Fr.Leonard Feeney does not mention any exception of the baptism of desire or invincible ignorance.

Vatican Council II or the Catechism of the Catholic Church does not say that we know of explicit cases of non Catholics saved with the baptism of desire or in invincible ignorance.

Through out the centuries the popes and Councils knew that those saved with the baptism of desire and in invincible ignorance are known only to God. They are de facto known only to God.They are always implicit for us. So they do not contradict the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

So Fr.Leonard Feeney was correct in saying that every one with no exception needs to be a visible member of the Church and there are no known exceptions.
