The point is that there cannot be any exceptions to EENS: We cannot see or know an exception. So nothing in V2 can be an exception

@AndradesLionel Help me understand: Yes or no? Do you claim V2 actually upholds "rigorist" EENS, thus MICM assents to V2 on wrong terms?
@radtrad Do you claim V2 actualy upholds "rigorist" EENS ? YES!

@AndradesLionel Hmm, I didn't think Marchetti or Cushing colored their reading of V2. MICM seems to discount doctrinal authority of either.

@radtrad MICM rejects Marchetti's inference with reference to the dogma but use it in the interpretation of V2.

@radtrad The issue is identifying the Marchetti objective error.Even Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, Michael Davis etc were not aware of it.

@AndradesLionel I take you to mean that MICM opposes V2 because they, like post-V2 Popes, interpret V2 through a faulty premise, correct?

@AndradesLionel Perhaps his views are closer to yours than not & V2 poses difficulties beside its conveyance of EENS? I can't speak for him.

@AndradesLionel Much of our religion consists of the unseen. The invisibility of the proposed activity does not itself free us from assent.

@radtrad The dogma says all need to convert. All need to be formal members of the Church. Where are the exceptions today? Can there be one?

Rad Trad

@AndradesLionel Current cases of Invincible Ignorance? Perhaps some isolated tribe in S. America only in contact with wacky anthropologists.

@radtrad How can that tribe be an exception to the dogma? You do not know if they will be saved in invincible ignorance. Can you judge?
