Sedevantist seminary Most Holy Trinity's theology uses the irrational premise and inference to interpret Lumen Gentium, Vatican Council II

5. Because of the Seminary's adherence to the magisterium of the Church, it wholeheartedly rejects the heretical teaching of Vatican II concerning the unity of the Church, namely that the Church of Christ is not exclusively identified with the Catholic Church, but merely subsists in it.

Lionel:
This is the position of the liberals like Cardinal Walter Kaspar. Pope Benedict XVI has denied it.
There is no mention made on this page to Ad Gentes 7,Vatican Council II  which says all need faith and baptism for salvation.Ad Gentes  7 supports the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and the Syllabus of Errors.

This heretical doctrine is contained principally in Lumen Gentium, and its heretical meaning is confirmed in statements of Paul VI and his successors, particularly in the 1983 Code of Canon Law, in the 1992 Statement concerning Church and Communion, and in the Ecumenical Directory
Lionel:
Lumen Gentium 8 on subsistit it does not state that non Catholics do not need faith and baptism for salvation. So it does not contradict Ad Gentes 7 or the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
LG 8 also does not state that there are known cases of persons saved outside the Church.
This is the interpretation of the seminary in Florida. They assume hypothetical cases can be examples of salvation outside the Church in the present times. They assume that these cases are explicit  exceptions to the dogma which says all need the baptism of water in the Catholic Church.
The text of Lumen Gentium, Vatican Council II does not state this.

It is contrary to the teaching of the Catholic Church, contained principally in Satis Cognitum of Pope Leo XIII, Mortalium Animos of Pope Plus XI, Mystici Corporis of Pope Plus XI and in the condemnations of the "Branch Theory" made by the Holy Office under Pope Pius IX.
Lionel:
Lumen Gentium 8, 14 or 16 do not state that there are known cases of non Catholics saved outside the Church, in the present times. They refer to possibilities. We can assume that these possibilities are saved with or without the baptism of water in the Catholic Church.
If we assume they are saved with the baptism of water in the Catholic, this would be dogmatic .
If we assume they are saved without the baptism of water in the Catholic Church, this would be irrational and contrary to the dogma. It would be irrational since we do not know any one on earth who is an exception to all needing to formally enter the Church ( the dogmatic teaching). It would be irrational since it would be saying that there are  people now in Heaven saved without Catholic Faith and the baptism of water who are also known or visible to us personally on earth.
Whenever it is inferred that there are exceptions it is presumed that there are known exceptions.Invisible cases cannot be present day exceptions.

6. The Seminary also rejects the teaching of Vatican II concerning ecumenism as overtly heretical, which states that non-Catholic religions are a means of salvation.
Lionel:
The text of Vatican Council II (UR 3) does not state this.It has to be inferred.
UR 3 could be interpreted as referring to known cases of non Catholics saved outside the Church in 'imperefct communion with the Church'. Or it could be referring to hypothetical cases. For the seminary faculty these cases are known so they are exceptions. This is irrational and a falsehood. These cases in Heaven are not known on earth.

This doctrine directly contradicts the teaching of the Church that there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church, called by Pope Plus IX a "most well-known Catholic dogma."
Lionel:
It does not contradict the dogma for me.
Instead the seminary's position of there being known exceptions contradicts the dogma. The seminary like the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 assume that being saved with the baptism of desire or in invincible ignorance refer to known cases in the present times. So it is inferred these cases are exceptions to the traditional Feeneyite interpretation of the dogma. The fault likes with the irrational premise and inference used by Cardinal Francesco Marchetti Selvaggiani and the sedevacantist seminary.

In addition, the ecumenical practices which have resulted from this heretical doctrine are directly contrary to Mortalium Animos of Pope Plus XI.
Lionel:
They ecumenical practices could be based on the same irrational interpretation of Vatican Council II as the Most Holy Trinity seminary in Florida, USA.
