The bottom line

The bottom line is that we do not know any one past or present who is  saved without the baptism of water in the Catholic Church.
So there cannot be an exception to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS), nor to Vatican Council II (AG 7, LG 14) which is in harmony with the dogma on salvation.
There is no one in practical life, who is an exception to all needing to formally convert into the Church in 2015 to avoid Hell.
There is nothing in Vatican Council II or any other magisterial document which contradicts the dogma on exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church. Every one in 2015 needs to be a card carrying members of the Church, every one needs his or her name on the parish  baptism register to avoid Hell.
The majority of people on earth are on the way to Hell without 'faith and baptism'(AG 7, LG 14).
The Baltimore Catechism made a mistake when it inferred there were explicit exceptions to all needing the baptism of water for salvation.
This error has entered numerous magisterial documents since 1808.
If any pope or cardinal implies that people in Heaven are exceptions on earth in the present times, to all needing the baptism of water in the Catholic Church, it is factually wrong .It is a fact of life that we cannot see or know people in Heaven who are there without 'faith and baptism'.
St.Thomas Aquinas mentions the man in the forest in invincible ignorance but does not state that he could be known personally and so is an exception to the dogma. This has to be inferred. It was inferred wrongly after 1808.
The saints mention that a person could be saved with implicit desire for the baptism of water but they do not state that these cases are explicit and so an exception to the dogma. This was wrongly inferred after the Baltimore Catechism placed these 'exceptions' in the section on Baptism.
So the bottom line is that Vatican Council II and the dogma says all need to convert into the Church to go to Heaven and avoid the fires of Hell and we do  not and cannot know, of any exceptions in the present times.-Lionel Andrades
