Cardinal Kurt Koch has issued a politically correct opinion-piece which denies the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, contradicts Vatican Council II (AG 7, LG 14) and the Catechism of the Catholic Church (846,1257) and rejects Dominus Iesus 20 besides other magisterial documents.
He probably issued this statement in reponse to the usual political and military pressure of the Jewish Left. They are imposing their secular, evil ideology on the Catholic Church, something they would never dare do with Muslim states.
The document does not cite Nostra Aetate 4 which says Catholics are 'the new people of God', the Chosen People. Instead there is a lot of political propaganda of the Jewish Anti Defamation League which the Vatican has to repeat to avoid tension and violence.Neither is there any reference to Ad Gentes 7 which says all need faith and baptism for salvation, indicating that Jews are on the way to Hell without Catholic Faith and the baptism of water. They need to convert formally into the Church according to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus ( Cantate Domino, Council of Florence 1441) to avoid 'the fires of Hell'.-Lionel Andrades
