Pope Benedict assumes there are known cases of people saved without faith and baptism. Then assumes, upon this premise, that there are known exceptions to the dogma EENS. This is irrational. It is a new theology based on an irrationality.
Similarly he assumes there are known exceptions to the traditional understanding of mortal sin. Then he creates a new moral theology which says that a mortal sin is not always a mortal sin.-Lionel Andrades
