Brother Thomas Augustine MICM, Prior at the St. Benedict Center, Still River,MA, USA,a traditionalist, whose community was granted canonical recognition recently in the diocese of Bishop Robert McMahon, in Worcester,USA, has compromised with the Vatican and the bishop of Worcester.He has rejected extra ecclesiam nulla salus (Feeneyite),as it was interpreted by the community's founder,Catherine Goddard Clarke  who supported Fr. Leonard Feeney in theology and doctrine.

To get canonical recognition for his community, the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary have had to bend.

Bro.Thomas Augustine, the Prior, of the St. Benedict Center, Still River has accepted Vatican Council II(Cushingite) when he had the choice of Vatican Council II (Feeneyite).

If he would affirm Vatican Council II( Feeneyite) in public he would be saying that Vatican Council II is not a rupture with the dogma EENS ( Feeneyite) and the old ecclesiology of the Church,the Syllabus of Errors etc.

With Vatican Council II(Cushingite) he says that that there is known salvation outside the Catholic Church.There there is known  salvation outside the Church since Lumen Gentium 16 ( invincible ignorance) for example, is interpreted as referring to known non Catholics in the present time saved outside the Church, without the baptism of water.There are no such known people. 

But Cushingism uses this false premise to interpret magisterial documents and this is  how Bishop Robert McMahon and his Curia interpret Vatican Council II and EENS.So they have welcomed the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and so had the Vatican.
