Pope Paul VI supported irrational Cushingite theology : since Pius XII the Magisterium has been in heresy and has been enforcing it in the Catholic Church.

The same Cushingite theology which is there in Redemptoris Missio and Dominus Iesus influenced Pope Paul VI's Evangelii Nuntiandi.

Earlier Pope Pius XII had to accept Cushingism, in the Fr. Leonard Feeney  case. It was about the time of the creation of the new Jewish Left state of Israel.

The Letter of the Holy Office 1949(LOHO) during his pontificate had to assume, unknown non Catholics saved with the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOB) or invincible ignorance(I.I) were known exceptions to the traditional interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS).Theoretical possibilities were actual, known people.

Then at Vatican Council II they accepted this irrationality. The Holy Office and the Archbishop of Boston had still not lifted the excommunication of Fr. Leonard Feeney.It was maintained for some 19 years.The Cushingite influence, the new theology, can be seen in the Council text.Ad Gentes 7 says all need faith and baptism for salvation but also mentions exceptions.This is Cushingism.

Then Pope Paul VI issued Evangelii Nuntiandi while assuming BOD, BOB and I.I were explicit exceptions to EENS, even though he would not know of any such case in real life.For him LG 8, LG 14,LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc also referred to known non Catholics, saved outside the Church. He supported this Cushingite theology.

This was all false.But this was the New Theology, Cushingism, creating new doctrines on salvation.For Paul VI the new teaching was that there was salvation outside the Church,.So all did not need to become members of the Church as it was taught in pre-1940 times.For him there were known people saved in invincible ignorance, there were visible cases of non Catholics saved with the baptism of desire, elements of sanctification and truth(LG 8) etc.He was a Cushingite.

Then the same false theology based on a false premise was used by Cardinal Ratzinger in Redemptoris Missio, Catechism(1994), Dominus Iesus, Balamand Declaration etc.
So at this Pentecost(2018) Catholics will be proclaiming the old faith with the new false theology. They will be saying every one does not need to enter the Catholic Church for salvation.Every one does not need to be a member of the Church to go to Heaven.Since hypothetical possibilities are exceptions to the past exclusivist understanding of salvation.

This was confirmed by Pope Benedict and Cardinal Ladaria in two papers of the International Theological Commission.
Then it was re-confirmed by Pope Benedict in March 2016 when he said that EENS was no more like it was for the missionaries in the 16th century. Since Vatican Council II interpreted with Cushingism and not Feeneyism, creates a rupture with Tradition, which he calls ' a development'.

Then it was recently confirmed on March 1,2018 when Cardinal Luiz Ladaria s.j, now as Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith,at the Press Conference for Placuit Deo,  said that Lumen Gentium 8  was a rupture with the old understanding on salvation.So his inference was Cushingite. LG 8 referred to known people saved outside the Church.

Since Pius XII the Magisterium has been in heresy and has been enforcing it in the Catholic Church.
Even the SSPX bishops and the traditionalists have been unknowingly supporting it since Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre was also a Cushingite.-Lionel Andrades
