Lauren Ashburn on EWTN does not present news from a Catholic perspective but a Jewish Left one.1

EWTN once produced a video on baptism and did not say that the baptism of water is necessary for all for salvation, along with Catholic faith among adults.EWTN apologists and theologians also do not cite Vatican Council II(AG 7) and the Catechism of the Catholic Church (845,846) which say all need faith and baptism for salvation.All.

We now know that invisible cases of the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of desire(BOD) and baptism of blood(BOB) are not visible exceptions to Ad Gentes 7.So when BOD, BOB and I.I is mentioned in Vatican Council II they must always be seen as personally unknown people.So Vatican Council II (AG 7) and the Catechism of the Catholic Church (845,846) really saying all need faith and baptism for salvation and not just those who know about Jesus and the Church and are not in ignorance.

So BOD, BOB and I.I are not exceptions to all needing faith and baptism for salvation (AG 7,LG 14 etc).So Fr. Leonard Feeney was correct and the Holy Office 1949(CDF) was wrong in the Boston Heresy Case.

For EWTN and Lauren Ashburn , the Boston Heresy Case refers to Fr. Leonard Feeney and not Archbishop Richard Cushing, the Archbishop of Boston.This was the political position of the Jewish Left media in 1949, after the creation of the state of Israel.

So now Laura Ashburn praises the "beautiful" homily of Bishop Paul Martin from the Diocese of Christchurch, New Zealand,and asks him to elaborate theologically. He does not.He restricts himself to explaining the practical help given to those affected by the shooting and are living.

Praising prayers said for deceased Muslims is not Catholic.

She was saying that the Catholic Church is not the sole Ark of Noah that saves in the flood.(CCC 845).All do not need to enter the Catholic Church with faith and baptism to avoid Hell.

In other words there are non Catholics in Heaven for whom Bishop Martin and his congregation were praying for.

They know of non Catholics saved outside the Church. This is the New Theology.

This is the New Theology in the Catholic Church based upon personally known and visible cases of the BOD, BOB and I.I and LG 8, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc. This is irrational.Yet this the foundation of the New Theology Lauren Ashburn and every one else at EWTN are forced to follow and pretend it is theologically correct and Catholic.

Christopher Ferrara wrote a book critical of EWTN which was not of much help.Since he too interprets Vatican Council II with the New Theology ( invisible non Catholics are practical and objective exceptions to Feeneyite EENS).

Based upon Feeneyite EENS and Vatican Council II, EWTN should really be proclaiming the Social Reign of Christ the King over all political legislation and the non separation of Church and State.

They should be proclaiming an ecumenism of return based upon a rational interpretation of Vatican Council II and EENS.The past exclusivist ecclesiology would be the norm.

Traditional Mission which recognises that all non Catholics in general are oriented to Hell with no visible exception, unless they convert into the Catholic Church, would be accepted Catholic teaching after Vatican Council II.

So Lauren Ashburn would not have to contradict Vatican Council II (AG 7, LG 14), EENS( Feeneyite) and the Catechism of the Catholic Church ( Feeneyite) and other magisterial documents in her reporting on EWTN.Then her presentation would be Catholic. Presently it is non traditional,irrational and heretical.
