No denial from PISAI : they use the irrational premise, inference and conclusion to interpret Vatican Council II, the Catechisms and Creeds the dogma extra eccleeiam nulla salus and other magisterial teachings
There is no denial from PISAI.They use the irrational premise, inference and conclusion to interpret Vatican Council II, the Catechisms and Creeds, the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) and other magisterial teachings. They know that there is nothing in Vatican Council II to contradict the strict interpretation of the dogma EENS.LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc, refer to only hypothetical and speculative cases in 1965-2020.So they are not exceptions to the traditional teaching on the Catholic Church having exclusive salvation.
The teaching at the Pontificial Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies (PISAI) in Rome was wrong over the last 55 years, since Vatican Council II.They were also wrong over the last 81 years, when the Letter of the Holy Office 1949, was officially issued during the pontificate of Pope Pius XII.
According to Vatican Council II all need faith and baptism for salvation (AG 7).Mohammad and Muslims do not have it.They are all oriented to Hell with no known exceptions is the official teaching of the Catholic Church, according to Vatican Council II(AG 7).This is the Concliar teaching and not just a pre-Vatican Council II teaching, with the Council interpreted irrationally.
This is not the interpretation however of the professors at PISAI who project Islamism as an equal path to salvation as the Catholic Church.
For Catholics the Koran is heretical and Mohammad could not be a prophet of God.This is the Catholic teaching in Ad Gentes 7 the Creeds, Catechisms and the dogma EENS.This is the interpretation of the Bible ( John 3:5, Mark 16:16).
PISAI does not teach that Muslims need to be members of the Catholic Church with Catholic faith( Athanasius Creed) for salvation( to avoid Hell).
The last time I was at PISAI there was a Muslim guest speaker who said he admired Maulana Fazlur Rehman of the Jamaat Islami in Pakistan. He has been associated with the Taleban in Afghanisation.
He was indirectly telling the teaching staff that he believed in exclusive salvation being there in only his religion and that all need to affirm not only God but also his prophet for salvation.
However the teaching staff at PISAI, scholars, do not choose to interpret Vatican Council II interpreted without the irrational premise, inference and conclusion, before their guest speakers. The meetings appear like a social occasion only.
They use the false premise, inference and conclusion to project invisible cases of the baptism of desire(BOD),baptism of blood(BOB) and invincible ignorance(I.I) as being visible exceptions to EENS.
Similarly they project invisible cases of LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc , in 2020, as being objective exceptions to the Athanasius Creed and the Catechism of Pope Pius X ( 24 Q, 27 Q).
So they make a false Profession of Faith by confusing hypothetical cases (LG 8, LG 14, LG 16) as rejecting the Creeds, Catechisms and the dogma EENS.This is not the Deposit of Faith but a rejection of it.
PISAI, with its irrational premise, inference and conclusion, make magisterial documents non magisterial and then project this error among the scholars whom they invite.
When they organise visits to the mosque in Rome they need to clarify that the Imam and personell there at the Cultural Center, do not have Catholic faith and the baptism of water(AG 7, LG 14) and so will not be saved from the fires of Hell.
Instead the Teaching Staff and visiting scholars use Vatican Council II as a slogan. They interpret the Council irrationally and then project it as a ruputure with Catholic Tradition and the teaching of the popes and saints, over the centuries, on the subject of other religions.
Like Pope Benedict and his Regensburg Address, PISAI Staff would refer to Nostra Aetate with no reference to Ad Gentes 7, which is mentioned in the Catechism of the Catholic Church(n.846) under the sub title Outside the Church No Salvation.
Instead they knowingly interpret Vatican Council II with the irrational premise. This is unethical and deceptive.
We can choose to live at peace with all people, respect them and expect them to also tolerate our Catholic beliefs.
At the recent meeting in Bari, with Pope Francis, all the bishops present there, would interpret Vatican Council II with the false premise, inference and conclusion, like at PISAI.-Lionel Andrades

Poor scholarship at PISAI

dell’islam in mezzo a noi.

Graduate Students at St. Benet Hall are unaware of the deception of the faculty : there is no clarification or correction
Dr.Joseph Shaw and the professors at the St.Benet Hall, Oxford University, England are projecting unknown cases of BOD, BOB and I.I as personally known exceptions to Feeneyite extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS).If they were invisible, and not known for them they would not be exceptions.
This is academic deception. It is unethical.
They are also interpreting invisible cases of LG 8, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc in Vatican Council II, as visible exceptions to the past exclusivist ecclesiology and an ecumenism of return. This is subterfuge. They advance their academic careers, with the political Left, by changing Catholic theology with a false premise and inference.
Shaw
teaches philosophy and should know there are no objective cases of
being saved outside the Church, which would be exceptions, to the old
ecclesiology. There are none mentoned in Lumen Gentium 8 etc.Lumen
Gentium in its entire text does not contradict the past ecclesiology.
So Dr. Joseph Shaw supports the New Theology which is created by assuming invisible cases of BOD,BOB and I.I and LG 8 etc, being visible and known, are examples of known non Catholics saved outside the Church.
This was the irrational reasoning of the Letter of the Holy Office
1949. Since then ecclesiastics having been saying there is salvation
outside the Church.Possiliities which exist only in the mind have become
real examples of outside the Church there being salvation, for them.
So it is no more outside the Church there is no salvation for Shaw, as it was for the missionaries and Magisterium of the 16th century. This was also the ecclesiology of the Latin Mass at that time. Now for the academics it is outside the Church there is salvation and so non Catholics do not need to convert and there is no need for Catholic mission any more.
Shaw recently wrote a book on the Latin Mass calling for evangelisation based upon the Latin Mass of the 1950's.That Mass was different from the Latin of today, which has a New Ecclesiology, based upon BOD, BOB and I.I and LG 8 etc being visible and personally known.
The St.Benet Hall is dishonest. There is no clarification or correction from any of the teachers and neither from Joseph Shaw.
The professors(tutors) evaluate the writings and research of students from all over the world. They check the morality of research - subjects. There is a department for Theology and Religion. Here are some of the students at St.Benet Hall according to the official website. The students would be sincere and honest.
May be they are unaware of the deception of the faculty.
