Dominicans should have kept their 800 years anniversay celebration a secret. It could have been quiet, subdued and low key like that of the Jesuits celebration of the 400th(?) anniversary of St.Francis Xavier.St.Dominic and St. Francis Xavier are embarrassments for their community Curia Generals.
Dominicans today are a rupture with the times of St.Dominic.They do not preach exclusive salvation in the Church.Their universities are occupied by the Jewish Left rabbis with their supporters. The order of preachers only preach what is allowed by the political Left.
So what 800 years of continuity would they be celebrating ?
There is no continuity.
They interpret Vatican Council II with a mistake. Then they use this irrational interpretation to discard the teachings of St.Dominic on faith, salvation, ecclesiology, mission etc.
At the Angelicum University they do not teach that there is a mistake in Vatican Council II. Yet we know that there is a problem. Since for the Dominicans,Lumen Gentium 14 ( baptism of desire) and Lumen Gentiuim 16 ( invincible ignorance) is interpreted as being visible. For me it is invisible.1.
So someone has to be wrong. Either the Dominican Curia or St. Dominic made a mistake. The Dominican Curia in Rome says there is no exlusive salvation in the Catholic Church( LG 16 refers to visible exceptions) while St. Dominic taught that there was exclusive salvation in the Church( there were no known Cushingite exceptions in his time.)
What a mess!
What a mess!
