The German Catholic bishops are interpreting Vatican Council II with the philosophical error.Without this objective mistake the Council supports the strict interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) as it was known to the Jesuits in the Middle Ages.If this is brought to the attention of the liberal German bishops they may outright reject Vatican Council II.They would put themself in the same position the Society of St. Pius X(SSPX) is in today. While the traditionalists whom they oppose, could continue to affirm the past ecclesiology without rejecting Vatican Council II, when the mistake is avoided, the false premise rejected.
If the two popes, like Archbishop Thomas E.Gullickson Apostolic Nuncio to Switzerland, would say that there are no known cases of the baptism of desire etc in our reality, something which is obvious, then the German bishops may go into schism.
Since it could be difficult for them to make the transition back to the old ecclesiology of the Church, inspired by the Holy Spirit.-Lionel Andrades
