Cardinal Raymond Burke was here the other day. There is a picture of him with the children of the catechism class.
On Facebook there was a comment below the picture.
Thank you Cardinal Burke, you are a true and faithful son of Our Divine Lord.
But Cardinal Burke is part of the problem.
He is politically correct on Vatican Council II.
He is politically correct on extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
He is politically correct in the interpretation of all the Catechisms.
He is politically correct with the Left in the interpretation of the Nicene Creed.
He is politically correct in the interpretation of the baptism of desire, baptism of blood and invincible ignorance.
It is the same with FSSP priests.
This Left-approved version of the faith is taught to the children and there is no controversy.
Cardinal Burke and the FSSP priests have a choice. They can teach the children the Catholic faith without using an irrational premise and inference to change theology. Then the teachings of the Church would the same before and after Vatican Council II.The politically correct-angle would not be there.
Now they are politically correct on Vatican Council II since they interpret it with Cushingism (hypothetical cases are not hypothetical, invisible non Catholics are visible examples of salvation outside the Church, the baptism of desire etc are objective exceptions to Feeneyite EENS and so all do not need to be members of the Church for salvation). Instead they could choose to affirm Vatican Council II, before the children, with Feeneyism( hypothetical cases are just hypothetical, and so there is nothing mentioned in Vatican Council II to contradict EENS as it was known to the missionaries in the 16th century.) They would be endorsing the past ecclesiocentric ecclesiology of the Church. They would teaching the children the strict interpretation of the dogma EENS. They would be saying that Fr. Leonard Feeney of Boston was rational and traditional and the Holy Office of his time, was irrational and heretical.
This would be controversial.
They can choose not to interpret EENS with Cushingism ( there are objective exceptions to EENS in the present times). So they would be affirming EENS ( Feeneyite) and Vatican Council II ( Feeneyite).
The baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOB) and invincible ignorance(I.I) would refer to only hypothetical cases and not objectively known people. There would no more be practical exceptions to EENS. Since there are no literal cases of BOD, BOB and I.I in our reality.
So when the Catechisms mention BOD, BOB and I.I they would be referring to hypothetical cases only for them. Invisible and not visible people. So the Catechisms ( Pius X, Trent, John Paul II ) would not contradict the strict interpretation of the dogma EENS.This means the Nicene Creed would still be saying ' I believe in one baptism for the forgiveness of sins'. One known baptism, which is the baptism of water. It would not be 'I believe in three or more known baptisms and they exclude the baptism of water.'
They would be telling the children that every one needs to enter the Catholic Church as a member for salvation and there are no known exceptions for us.
They would be telling the children that all non Catholics are on the way to Hell.
Since all people need faith and baptism for salvation (Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II) we know that most people are on the way to Hell since they die outside the Church.
So this would be the teaching of the Catholic Church taught in Catechism classes when the interpretation is Feeneyite and not Cushingite.
But Cardinal Burke and the FSSP priests are politically correct with the Left and so they choose safe-Cushingism.
This is not the Catholic faith which they are teaching.Instead it is heresy and schism with the past popes on the subject of exclusive salvation. Exclusive salvation is the foundation for other doctrines, like ecumenism, Social Reign of Christ the King, traditional Mission etc.Presently these doctrines are a rupture with Vatican Council II interpreted with Cushingism.
So when I see this picture I would not say :
Thank you Cardinal Burke, you are a true and faithful son of Our Divine Lord.
Just because he is sitting with the children it does not mean that they will be taught the truth.-Lionel Andrades
