Fr. Stefano Visintin osb, Rector, University of St. Anselm, Rome is a Feeneyite. He interprets Vatican Council II and extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS), differently when compared with the Human Life International Staff and the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops(USCCB).For him the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOB) and invincible ignorance(I.I) are not exceptions to EENS. Archbishop Thomas E. Gullickson, Nuncio to Switzerland and Liechtenstein agrees with him.
Fr.Visintin is also a physicist. He refers to the laws of nature when he says that physically we cannot see a non Catholic saved outside the Church, who now is settled in Heaven. So if we cannot see or personally know of a particular person saved outside the Catholic Church, there are no objective examples of salvation outside the Catholic Church. There are no exceptions to EENS for us human beings.
