Fr Anthony Pillari JCL, MCL, STB who introduces the Voice of the Family Online Catechism Course based on the Baltimore Catechism has not responded to the comments on this blog.
It is the same with Bishop Athansius Schneider. The Lefebvrists and Thucs use a false premise to interpret Vatican Council II , the Creeds and Catechisms.
They use a false premise to interpret Vatican Council II, the Creeds and Catechisms.
They use a false premise to interpret the baptism of desire mentioned in the Baltimore Catechism to create a false rupture with 16th century extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
1.Without the fake premise Vatican Council II does not contradict exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church. So there is no rupture with the old Catechisms.
2.The Baltimore Catechism has to be mentioning a hypothetical baptism of desire. Since the BOD can only be implicit, subjective and speculative. There is no other choice for us humans.
3.So when the Baltimore Catechism mentions BOD it is not a rupture with EENS ( Feeneyite) i.e with BOD not being an objective exception.
4.There can be an EENS Feeneyite( EENS with BOD not being an objective exception) and EENS Cushingite (EENS with BOD being an objective exception).
The Voice of the Family course chooses Cushingism. So they interpret the Baltimore Catechism with Cushingism instead of Feeneyism. This creates the hermeneutic of rupture with other Magisterial documents.
John Smeaton, John Henry Weston and Roberto dei Mattei want to affirm EENS and Vatican Council II Cushingite.-Lionel Andrades
