We can re-interpret Vatican Council II without the heresy of the Letter
of the Holy Office 1949 to the Archbishop of Boston (LOHO), then there will
remain only the rational interpretation of the Council.
According to Vatican Council II re-interpreted without the false
premise, all would need the baptism of water for salvation (AG 7).So CCC 1257
says the Church knows of no means to eternal beatitude other than the baptism
of water. This is not contradicted by CCC 1257 when it also states that ‘God is
not limited to the Sacraments (CCC 1257).
God is not limited to the Sacraments and we cannot know of any
exceptions to all needing the baptism of water for salvation.
The Church knows of no means to eternal beatitude other than the
Sacrament of Baptism(CCC 1257) and the Church does not know of anyone who will
be saved without the baptism of water, in the present times, since God is not
limited to the Sacraments.
All need faith and baptism for salvation (CCC 846,AG 7) and we do not know anyone who will be saved without
faith and the baptism of water since ‘all who are saved are saved through Jesus
and the Church’(CCC 846).
Yes all who are saved are saved through Jesus and the Church and all
need to formally enter the Catholic Church with faith the baptism of water with
no known exceptions.-Lionel Andrades
