Roberto dei Mattei still promotes his obsolete book on Vatican Council II. It is now unethical : Bishop Schneider avoids being laicized in an interview with Steve Bannon

Roberto dei Mattei in his out-dated book on Vatican Council II does not state that Lumen Gentium 16 is not an exception for the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS) and the Athanasius Creed. He allows children at large, including  those in his family, not to be taught at First Communion and Confirmation, that there is exclusive salvation in only the Catholic Church ( AG 7, CCC 845,846, Council of Florence 1442 etc).

He is the Director of Correspondenza Romano, a news agency and   the magazine Radici Cristiane and is President of the Lepanto Foundation. He does not interpret Vatican Council II rationally (LG 16 refers to an invisible case in 2024) and so ethically, and so in harmony with the Apostles, the Church Fathers and the Magisterium over the centuries. They affirmed the traditional strict interpretation of the dogma EENS and the Athanasius Creed.

Even after being informed he is not pulling down the book on Vatican Council II interpreted irrationally. He does not issue a clarification or apology.

A few years back Bishop Athanasius Schneider  in an interview with Dr. Taylor Marshall, both of whom who are associated with Mattei, said that there are no literal cases of the baptism of desire( Lumen Gentium 14).But in a subsequent interview with Steve Bannon, Schneider projected the Council as a break with Tradition. In other words, Lumen Gentium 16 was an exception for the dogma EENS and the Athanasius Creed. It was an exception for him, since it was ‘a visible’, ‘a known person’ in the present times, saved outside the Catholic Church, without ‘faith and baptism’ (Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II).

But we now know that Lumen Gentium 14 (saved with the baptism of desire) refers to an invisible case. It is hypothetical always.

But Mattei and Schneider, like Taylor Marshall and the Society of St. Pius X bishops and Superior General, interpret Vatican Council II as a break and not a continuity with the strict interpretation of the dogma EENS. Schneider avoids being laicized by the Jewish Left and the leftist Vatican.

Mattei does not want to be accused of being Anti Semitic, fundamentalist etc and be struck down by the common leftist extremism.

So Mattei allows Catholic children and adults to believe that LG 8, 14, 15, 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc in Vatican Council II, refer to objective examples of salvation outside the Church in 1949-2024.For him they are practical exceptions for Tradition (EENS, Syllabus of Errors etc).In this way he maintains his tax exempt status on public donations and is not persecuted, as the apologist Robert Sungenis, who was deserted by the USCCB and the Vatican.

Like Mattei, Archbishop Carlo Vigano is well off.  Though he has personal assets in Italy amounting to 20 million it is reported.

Neither Vigano nor Mattei mentioned The Great Vatican Council II Hoax in the recent schism trial of Vigano by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DCF), Vatican. The DCF interpreted Lumen Gentium 16 as an exception for the dogma EENS (which the CDF does not affirm) and the Athanasius Creed (which the DCF does not affirm). Before 1949, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith did not interpret the Athanasius Creed as having exceptions. It was common knowledge, that there are no literal cases of the baptism of desire. - Lionel Andrades

SEPTEMBER 13, 2024

Children at First Holy Communion and Confirmation classes and Religion class in Catholic schools, are not taught to affirm the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS) with no exceptions, since cardinals and bishops do not want to be laicized. It is obligatory for all to interpret Lumen Gentium 16 as a rupture with EENS opening the door for liberalism.

Children at First Holy Communion and Confirmation classes and Religion class in Catholic schools,  are no more taught that there is exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church since cardinals, like Burke, Sarah and Muller interpret invisible cases of Lumen Gentium 16 etc, as being visible cases of being saved in invincible ignorance and visible exceptions in 1965-2024 for the dogma outside the Church there is no salvation (Council of Florence 1442 etc).

So John Henry Weston in his reports/petitions on Archbishop Carlo Vigano, will not state that Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernandez and Archbishop-elect John Joseph Kennedy are in public heresy and schism for assuming that hypothetical and invisible cases, like Lumen Gentium 16 etc, are objective exceptions for the Athanasius Creed, which says all need to be Catholic for salvation from Hell. Westen, like the cardinals and bishops will not affirm the Athanasius Creed. So he is approved by the political Left. Meanwhile Weston and the cardinals and bishops allow the whole Church to continue in error while they protect their interests.

The cardinals and bishops do not want to be laicized so they allow Catholic children to be taught error. Even excommunicated bishop Richard Williamson ( excommunicated by Pope Benedict XVI for not accepting the ADL concept of the Holocaust), will not say that LG 8,14,15,16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc, in Vatican Council II, do not contradict the strict interpretation of the dogma EENS. Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, Plineo Correa D’Oliveira, Michael Davis and Romano Amerio made a factual mistake.

Roberto dei Mattei and the web-blog Rorate Caeili, do not support children being taught that there is exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church as it was done throughout history before 1949. Since Lumen Gentium 16 is a rupture with the dogma EENS for them. Mattei is still selling his book on Vatican Council II, in which he interprets the Council as a break with Tradition. This is unethical. He is telling a lie and the money is flowing in.

I am not a liberal like Mattei and the others. Lumen Gentium 16 is not an exception for EENS for me.

I avoid the Great Vatican Council II Hoax. At the Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit all the professors have to accept the error in the 1949 Letter of the Holy Office to the Archbishop of Boston. It projected invisible cases of the baptism of desire as being objective exceptions for Feeneyite EENS. So Robert Fastiggi, Ralph Martin and others there, have to interpret Lumen Gentium 16 as a break with the past ecclesiocentrism, to keep their teaching job.

Even the sedevacantists bishops Donald Sanborn and Mark Pivarunas and Peter and Michael Dimond at the Holy Family Monastery interpret Vatican Council II as a break with Tradition. So they approved by the Zionists. There maintain their tax exempt status on donations. -Lionel Andrades
