Fr.Joseph Carola sj., approved the thesis of a student at the Gregorian Pontifical University, Rome who used a false premise to interpret Vatican Council II and so create an artificial rupture with the past exclusivist ecclesiology of the Catholic Church. This is the policy of the Gregorian University for students and faculty.
According to the university website the student who defended his thesis before Fr.Carola was Graebe Brian Andrew
and the title of the dissertation was, Vessel of Honor. Virginitas in partu and the Ecclesiology of Vatican II
Teologia.
