The perennial Magisterium of the Catholic Church has not changed. All we have to do is interpret LG 8, 14, 15, 16 etc, as being hypothetical cases. We then return to the apostolic ecclesiology of the Church. This was the understanding of the Church Fathers.

We go back to the ecclesiology of the old Roman Missal simply by interpreting LG 8 etc rationally. This is not just my opinion. Anyone can test it out.- Lionel Andrades
