At Oxford University England the professors did not know that invisible cases of BOD, BOB and I.I 1could not be exceptions to the traditional strict interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS). They wrote many books in which they assumed LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 2 etc were examples of known salvation outside the Church. So for them everyone no more had to be a member of the Catholic Church for salvation.Protestants did not need to convert and past Magisterium documents had become obsolete.
Their Departments of Theology and Religion have become a scandal.
Fifty years after Vatican Council II they still do not have an insight into their collective error.
The popes from Paul VI wrongly interpreted hypothetical cases as being objective non Catholics saved outside the Church.
There are no visible non Catholics saved outside the Church without 'faith and baptism'(AG 7, LG 14). The Oxford professors did not notice the error in the Letter of the Holy Office 1949(LOHO).
How can people saved and now in Heaven be visible on earth to be exceptions to there being exclusive salvation in only the Catholic Church? They cannot! This would be irrational.
Who among us can meet or see someone saved outside the visible boundaries of the Catholic Church, where the 'true Church of Christ ' also subsists and could only be known to God(LG 8) ?
Students at Oxford, thousands of them, did not think correctly and were going along with the masses, in their error.
This centre of learning was in ignorance.Even a school boy would know there could be no human being personally known saved on earth with BOD, BOB and I.I. They are unknown cases in our human reality.Instead the students at Cambridge and Oxford wrote books based upon this error.
The limitations of being a Rhodes scholar!- and a Dominican at Blackfriars.
They spent so many years in the study of philosophy and theology and they did not notice the obvious. They did have their feet on the ground. Amusing.
