A possibility in Vatican Council II cannot be put forward as an exception to EENS. This was the error Pope Francis made on the plane when returning from Abu Dhabi.

There is  no literal baptism of desire(BOD).Period.
There no no being saved in invincible ignorance (I.I)in 2019. Period.
There is no being saved with the baptism of blood(BOB) and without the baptism of water that we can personally known of. It does not exist for us humans.Period.
For us human beings there are no such cases.
We cannot meet or see someone saved as such.
So in Vatican Council II there are no exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS).
This is what Boniface at the blog Unam Sanctam Catholicam cannot understand. So has ended the discussion on the baptism of desire.1
So it cannot be said that God wills a pluralism of religions and roads to salvation based on literal cases of  the baptism of desire( Lg 14), invincible ignorance I.I(LG 16) etc in Vatican Council II be exceptions to EENS.There are no literal cases.Yet this is the new revelation for the present two popes.
Pope Francis was wrong to cite Vatican Council II when asked about his statement at Abu Dhabi. He said he had not shifted a millimeter from Vatican Council II ( interpreted irrationally with a false premise-invisible people are visible).
Is it possible that someone was saved with the BOD, I.I etc last year ?Yes - and it was also possible that no one was saved as such.
So a possibility cannot be put forward as an exception to EENS.
This was the error Pope Francis made on the plane when returning from Abu Dhabi.
Possibilities of being saved in 'imperfect communion with the Church'(UR 3) are meaningless before EENS.So there is no exception to an ecumenism of return, in Vatican Council II.
A possibility of being saved with 'that one ray of Truth which enlightens all men' is hypothetical and so meaningless before EENS.It is not a real person who exists in our reality. So it is not an exception in Vatican Council II  to the past exclusivist ecclesiology of the Church, the superiority of the Catholic Church for salvation.
So when Pope Francis did not affirm EENS at Abu Dhabi it was heresy.
When he does not affirm EENS at his meetings with Lutherans it is heresy.
He cannot cite Vatican Council II as an excuse for not doing this.
There is no new revelation with Vatican Council II without confusing possibilities as being known people in the present times.

Others make the same mistake. For Ralph Martin and Robert Fastiggi, professors of theology at the Sacred Heart Major Seminary, Detroit, possibilities of salvation are confused as exceptions to EENS.
Ralph Martin must know that this cannot be the teaching of the Holy Spirit. He will not correct himself.
We cannot see or meet someone saved in invincible ignorance outside the Church I told a young Agostinian Recollect priest, here in Rome.He would not accept it.
This is something obvious and he had read material I had given him.He spoke to his Superior and he too would not accept it.They had decided that they would not accept it.
This was amusing but it was also serious.😊
Similarly an SSPX priest in Rome had agreed that we cannot see or meet people saved in invincible ignorance or the baptism of desire. He said it was obvious. But then the next time I met him he was not sure.He probably spoke to his colleagues at Albano and was confused.
I could not help laughing. Was he saying that we can meet people saved outside the Church ? So then they were exceptions to EENS, I asked.
"Father, we cannot physically see someone saved with the baptism of desire?! Yes???!"
"Of course not", then comes the clear answer.
But Boniface at Unam Sanctam Catholicam is still not sure if BOD, BOB and I.I and Vatican Council II's LG 8, UR 3, GS 22 etc, are exceptions or not exceptions to EENS.

Possibly it is the same, with Prof. Robert Hickson,Retired professor or Literature and Strategic-Cultural Studies, USA. The husband of author Maike Hickson, he is one of the signatories of the Open Letter to the Bishops accusing the pope of heresy, on only moral issues and not on Vatican Council II.
For them too, possibilities are real people saved outside the Church and so Vatican Council II is a rupture with Tradition. So they cannot show Pope Francis how his irrational reasoning results in heresy.
For me Vatican Council II is not a rupture with EENS, the past ecclesiology, an ecumenism of return, the Syllabus of Errors of Pope Pius X, the Catechism of the Catholic Church( all need to be members of the Catholic Church for salvation)  and the Athanasius Creed( outside the Church there is no salvation).
EENS is not 'a principle' and 'an aphorism' but a dogma defined by three Church Councils in the Extraordinary Magisterium. If I would reject EENS and the past ecclesiology, I would be a heretic.
