Fr.Joseph Ratzinger, later to be Pope Benedict, and his friends at Vatican Council II (1965) were so bold that they decided to eliminate the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) from the Church, with the use of a false premise.

Fr.Joseph  Ratzinger, later to be Pope Benedict, and his friends at Vatican Council II (1965) were so bold that they decided to eliminate the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) from the Church, with the use of a false premise. Then his friends, made him the Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith(CDF), Vatican, to maintain the false narrative on Vatican Council II and EENS.So in 2016, as Pope Benedict,he said that EENS today is not like it was for the missionaries in the 16th century. There was a development with Vatican Council II for him.He meant Vatican Council II interpreted with the false premise but he did not disclose this. Now he still interprets the Council with the false premise while I do not do so.

REDEMPTORIS MISSIO IS FLAWED

He then wrote Redemptoris Missio and Dominus Iesus using the false premise. So these Church documents do not outright say that there is no salvation outside the Church and that every one needs to be a formal member of the Catholic Church to avoid Hell ( for salvation).

Instead these documents are Christocentric and not ecclesiocentric. They fit in with the vague concept of Jesus and the Church today, important for the new one world religion of Bertrand Russell, the Theosophists and Masons, which will be anti-Christ in its essence.

DOMINUS IESUS WITH THE FALSE PREMISE

So Redemptoris Missio and Dominus Iesus are not like the Church documents of the past, which would directly say that all non Catholics need to enter the Church formally for salvation from Hell, example, the Catechism of Pope Pius X ( 24Q,27Q).

So there was no opposition from the Left to his New Theology, based on the false premise, confusing invisible cases of the baptism of desire and invincible ignorance as being visible examples of salvation outside the Church, in the present times (1965-2021), when in reality there are no such cases.

We undo all his bad work when we are aware that there is nothing in the entire text of Lumen Gentium  to contradict the past exclusivist ecclesiology of the Church.LG 8,LG 14,LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc in Vatican Council II, can only refer to hypothetical, theoretical and speculative cases. They exist only in our mind. They are not references to known people; real people whom we can know on earth. So they cannot be practical exceptions for the exclusivist interpretation of EENS.

We undo Pope Benedict’s error when we are aware that there is nothing in the entire text of Unitatis Redintigratio(UR) to contradict the past ecumenism of return.UR 3 refers to hypothetical cases. We cannot know of any Protestant who will be saved in ‘imperfect communion’ with the Church, outside the Church.

TRADITIONAL MISSION UN-CHANGED

Vatican Council II has not changed the traditional teaching of the Church on Mission and the necessity for all non Catholics, in general, with no known exceptions, having to accept  Jesus in the Catholic Church, for salvation from Hell. When the Church refers to those who ‘know’ and do not enter  formally (LG 14), the Council Fathers at Vatican Council II assumed invincible ignorance was a visible case and an exception for Feeneyite EENS.It was a mistake.

So Ad Gentes 7 says all need faith and baptism  for salvation.Period. Those who have had the Gospel preached to them and are not in invincible ignorance,or, who are in invincible ignorance, can only be judged by God and saved, either way.So there are no exceptions to Ad Gentes 7.It is orthodox. All all need faith and baptism for salvation and not just those who know. Those who know or do not know are irrelevant for us human beings on earth.Since they are unknown, invisible cases in 1965-2021. They cannot be projected as practical exceptions to the past Mission doctrines, which were ecclesiocentric.

The norm for salvation is faith and baptism and we cannot know of any exception to the norm, in the present times (1965-2021).

RE-READ LOHO

So now just as we read Vatican Council II

as not being in conflict with the strict

interpretation of EENS, since 'the red is

not an exception to the blue', we can re-

interpret the ‘hypothetical passages’; the

red passages in those Church documents.

It is the same with the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 to the Archbishop of Boston relative to Fr. Leonard Feeney(LOHO).The second part of the LOHO (red) does not contradict the first part; the introduction ( blue ), which is orthodox on EENS.

FOUR MARKS OF THE CHURCH

By being aware of the explicit-implicit, visible-invisible distinction ( Two Columns), we can affirm the Four Marks of the Church (one, holy, Catholic, Apostolic) and also Vatican Council II, interpreted rationally ( with the blue left hand side column). The ecclesiology of the Catholic Church before and after Vatican Council II is exclusivist. There is no development of doctrine or new revelation in the Council-text. –Lionel Andrades

JULY 8, 2021

All the books on Vatican Council II, Ecclesiology, Ecumenism etc authored by Pope Benedict/Cardinal Ratzinger were written with the hermeutic of rupture wih Tradition

Picture this. All the books on Vatican Council II Ecclesiology, Ecumenics etc authored by Pope Benedict/Cardinal Ratzinger were written  :-

1. He used  'the fake premise' to create the hermeneutic of rupture with Tradition(EENS, Syllabus etc).

2. He used the  'the right hand side irrational column'  to create 'a development of doctrine' , 'a new revelation', 'the spirit of Vatican Council II' and the hermeneutic of rupture with Tradition.

3.He used  'the red being an exception to the blue' to make Vatican Council II a 'revolution in the Church with a hermeneutic of rupture with traditional Mission, Ecumenism of Return, exclusivist ecclesiology of the Catholic Church etc.

FAKE PREMISE OF POPE BENEDICT

Lumen Gentium 8,Lumen Gentium 14, Lumen Gentium 16 etc in Vatican Council II refer to physically visible cases in 1965-2021.

FAKE INFERENCE  BENEDICT

They are objective examples of salvation      outside the Church.

FAKE CONCLUSION OF POPE BENEDICT

Vatican Council II contradicts the strict interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS).The Athanasius Creed(outside the Church there is no salvation) and the Syllabus of Errors of Pope Pius IX ( ecumenism of return) were made obsolete.

Here is my interpretation of Vatican Council II in blue.

RATIONAL PREMISE OF LIONEL

LG 8, LG 14, LG 16 etc in Vatican Council II refer to physically invisible cases in 1965-2021.They are only hypothetical and theoretical. They exist only in our mind and are not solid bodies at Newton's level of time, space and matter.

RATIONAL INFERENCE OF LIONEL

They are not objective examples of salvation outside the Church for us human beings.

RATIONAL CONCLUSION OF LIONEL

Vatican Council II does not contradict EENS as it was interpreted by the Jesuits in the Middle Ages.It does not contradict the strict interpretation of EENS of St. Thomas Aquinas( saved in invincible ignorance is invisible), St. Augustine and Fr. Leonard Feeney of Boston.

The Letter of the Holy Office(Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith) 1949 made an objective mistake it used the false premise, inference and conclusion.

  1.  TWO COLUMN APPROACH

  2. Would you interpret Vatican Council II with the right hand side or left hand side column?
LEFT HAND SIDE COLUMN - RIGHT HAND SIDE COLUMN
All salvation referred to in Vatican Council II i.e saved in invincible ignorance (LG 16), imperfect communion with the Church (UR 3),seeds of the Word (AG 11), good and holy things in other religions (NA 2) etc are either:
    implicit       or explicit for us.
    hypothetical   or known in reality.
invisible      or visible in the flesh.
    dejure(in principle)

  3.                   or defacto ( in fact ).

  4.    subjective     or objective.
So one can choose from the left hand side or the right hand side column.
If the right hand side column is chosen then Vatican Council II contradicts the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, the Syllabus of Errors and Tradition in general on other religions and Christian communities and churches. There are known exceptions in 2021 to the dogma on exclusive salvation in the Cathlic Church. The dead-saved are visible.

  5. If the left hand side column is chosen then Vatican Council II does not contradict extra ecclesiam nulla salus, nor Tradition on other religions and Christian communities and churches.

  6. Most people interpret Vatican Council II with the right hand side values.Bishop Roland Minnerath and the Diocesan priests in Dijon, France use the irrational right hand side column. So there is an artificial break with Tradition( EENS, Syllabus of Errors etc).
The baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance never ever were an exception to the literal interpretation of Fr.Leonard Feeney, unless one is using the right hand side column. There were, and are, no known exceptions.

LETTER OF THE HOLY OFFICE 1949 DURING THE PONTIFICATE OF POPE PIUS XII

( This letter was  an inter office correspondence between cardinals. However the liberals placed it in the Denzinger and it has been referenced in Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. It contains an objective error when it assumes invisible and unknown cases of the baptism of desire, baptism of blood and being saved in invincible ignorance are visible and known exceptions to the traditional interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.Upon this Letter is based the New Theology.)
We are bound by divine and Catholic faith to believe all those  things which are contained in the word of God, whether it be Scripture or Tradition, and are proposed by the Church to be believed as divinely revealed, not only through solemnjudgment but also through the ordinary and universal teaching office (, n. 1792).
Now, among those things which the Church has always preached and will never cease to preach is contained also that infallible statement by which we are taught that there
is no salvation outside the Church.
However, this dogma must be understood in that sense in which the Church herself understands it. For, it was not to private judgments that Our Savior gave for explanation those things that are contained in the deposit of faith, but to the teaching authority of the Church...
Now, among the commandments of Christ, that one holds not the least place by which we are commanded to be incorporated by baptism into the Mystical Body of Christ,
which is the Church, and to remain united to Christ and to His Vicar, through whom He Himself in a visible manner governs the Church on earth...

Therefore, no one will be saved who, knowing the Church to have been divinely established by Christ, nevertheless  refuses to submit to the Church or withholds obedience from the Roman Pontiff, the Vicar of Christ on earth.
Not only did the Savior command that all nations should  enter the Church, but He also decreed the Church to be a means of salvation without which no one can enter the kingdom of eternal glory.
In His infinite mercy God has willed that the effects, necessary for one to be saved, of those helps to salvation which are directed toward man's final end, not by intrinsic
necessity, but only by divine institution, can also be obtained in certain circumstances when those helps are used only in desire and longing. This we see clearly stated in the Sacred Council of Trent, both in reference to the sacrament of regeneration and in reference to the sacrament of penance (, nn. 797, 807).
Therefore, that one may obtain eternal salvation, it is not always required that he be incorporated into the Church actually as a member, but it is necessary that at least he be united to her by desire and longing.
However, this desire need not always be explicit,as it is in catechumens; but when a person is involved in invincible ignorance God accepts also an implicit desire, so called because it is included in that good disposition of soul whereby a person wishes his will to be conformed to the will of God.

MAGISTERIAL DOCUMENTS CAN BE INTERPRETED WITH 1)THE RED PASSAGES BEING AN EXCEPTION TO THE BLUE PASSAGES OR WITH 2)THE RED PASSAGES NOT BEING AN EXCEPTION TO THE BLUE PASSAGES.THE LATTER(2) IS RATIONAL.

Therefore, all must be converted to Him, made known by the Church's preaching, and all must be incorporated into Him by baptism and into the Church which is His body. For Christ Himself "by stressing in express language the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mark 16:16; John 3:5), at the same time confirmed the necessity of the Church, into which men enter by baptism, as by a door. Therefore those men cannot be saved, who though aware that God, through Jesus Christ founded the Church as something necessary, still do not wish to enter into it, or to persevere in it." Therefore though God in ways known to Himself can lead those inculpably ignorant of the Gospel to find that faith without which it is impossible to please Him...- Ad Gentes 7. Vatican Council II

Lumen Gentium 14, Vatican Council II
14. This Sacred Council wishes to turn its attention firstly to the Catholic faithful. Basing itself upon Sacred Scripture and Tradition, it teaches that the Church, now sojourning on earth as an exile, is necessary for salvation. Christ, present to us in His Body, which is the Church, is the one Mediator and the unique way of salvation. In explicit terms He Himself affirmed the necessity of faith and baptism(124) and thereby affirmed also the necessity of the Church, for through baptism as through a door men enter the Church. Whosoever, therefore, knowing that the Catholic Church was made necessary by Christ, would refuse to enter or to remain in it, could not be saved.
They are fully incorporated in the society of the Church who, possessing the Spirit of Christ accept her entire system and all the means of salvation given to her, and are united with her as part of her visible bodily structure and through her with Christ, who rules her through the Supreme Pontiff and the bishops. The bonds which bind men to the Church in a visible way are profession of faith, the sacraments, and ecclesiastical government and communion. He is not saved, however, who, though part of the body of the Church, does not persevere in charity. He remains indeed in the bosom of the Church, but, as it were, only in a "bodily" manner and not "in his heart."(12*) All the Church's children should remember that their exalted status is to be attributed not to their own merits but to the special grace of Christ. If they fail moreover to respond to that grace in thought, word and deed, not only shall they not be saved but they will be the more severely judged.(13*)
Catechumens who, moved by the Holy Spirit, seek with explicit intention to be incorporated into the Church are by that very intention joined with her. With love and solicitude Mother Church already embraces them as her own.- Lumen Gentium 14, Vatican Council II

Unitatis Redintigratio (Decree on Ecumenism), Vatican Council II
It follows that the separated Churches(23) and Communities as such, though we believe them to be deficient in some respects, have been by no means deprived of significance and importance in the mystery of salvation. For the Spirit of Christ has not refrained from using them as means of salvation which derive their efficacy from the very fullness of grace and truth entrusted to the Church.

Nevertheless, our separated brethren, whether considered as individuals or as Communities and Churches, are not blessed with that unity which Jesus Christ wished to bestow on all those who through Him were born again into one body, and with Him quickened to newness of life - that unity which the Holy Scriptures and the ancient Tradition of the Church proclaim. For it is only through Christ's Catholic Church, which is "the all-embracing means of salvation," that they can benefit fully from the means of salvation. We believe that Our Lord entrusted all the blessings of the New Covenant to the apostolic college alone, of which Peter is the head, in order to establish the one Body of Christ on earth to which all should be fully incorporated who belong in any way to the people of God. This people of God, though still in its members liable to sin, is ever growing in Christ during its pilgrimage on earth, and is guided by God's gentle wisdom, according to His hidden designs, until it shall happily arrive at the fullness of eternal glory in the heavenly Jerusalem.-Unitatis Redintigratio (Decree on Ecumenism), Vatican Council II

Catechism of the Catholic Church 846-848
"Outside the Church there is no salvation"  846 How are we to understand this affirmation, often repeated by the Church Fathers? Re-formulated positively, it means that all salvation comes from Christ the Head through the Church which is his Body:

Basing itself on Scripture and Tradition, the Council teaches that the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation: the one Christ is the mediator and the way of salvation; he is present to us in his body which is the Church. He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and Baptism, and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men enter through Baptism as through a door. Hence they could not be saved who, knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter it or to remain in it.
847 This affirmation is not aimed at those who, through no fault of their own, do not know Christ and his Church:
Those who, through no fault of their own, do not know the Gospel of Christ or his Church, but who nevertheless seek God with a sincere heart, and, moved by grace, try in their actions to do his will as they know it through the dictates of their conscience - those too may achieve eternal salvation.
848 "Although in ways known to himself God can lead those who, through no fault of their own, are ignorant of the Gospel, to that faith without which it is impossible to please him, the Church still has the obligation and also the sacred right to evangelize all men."
-Catechism of the Catholic Church 846-848

Literal and objective errors mark Pope Benedict's books published by Ignatius Press. He has interpreted the Catechism of the Catholic Church and Vatican Council II irrationally

The books in general published by Ignatius Press interpret Vatican Council II, the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Church Fathers with an irrational premise, inference and conclusion. New books need to be written avoiding this error . Meanwhile these books should not be promoted by printing new editions.
Church Fathers and Teachers

CHURCH FATHERS AND TEACHERS

From Leo the Great to Peter Lombard

  Hardback
After meditating on the Apostles and then on the Fathers of the early Church, as seen in his earlier works Jesus, the Apostles and the Early Church and Church Fathers, Pope Benedict XVI devoted his attention to the most influential Christian men from the fifth through the twelfth centuries. In his first book, Church Fathers, Benedict began with Clement of Rome and ended with Saint Augustine. In this volume, the Holy Father reflects on some of the greatest theologians of the Middle Ages: Benedict, Anselm, Bernard, and Gregory the Great, to name just a few. By exploring both the lives and the ideas of the great popes, abbots, scholars and missionaries who lived during the fall of the Roman Empire and the rise of Christendom, Pope Benedict XVI highlights the key elements of Catholic dogma and practice that remain the foundation stones not only of the Roman Catholic Church but of Christian society itself. This book is a wonderful way to get to know these later Church Fathers and Teachers and the tremendous spiritually rich patrimony they have bequeathed to us.

Clement of Rome, Saint Augustine, theologians of the Middle Ages: Benedict, Anselm, Bernard, and Gregory the Great, all affirmed the strict interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and interpreted the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOB) and invincible ignorance(I.I) as refering to invisible and theoretical cases. This was common sense. They were not practical exceptions to EENS.

Yet Pope Benedict interpreted BOD, BOB and I.I as being exceptions to EENS. He implied that they were non hypothetical and objective cases for them to be practical exceptions to Feeneyite EENS, the past exclusivist ecclesiology and an ecumenism of return. This was not the interpretation of Pope Leo the Great and Peter Lombard.
This is one the many books of Ignatius which need to be pulled down. New books can be written on this subject with BOD, BOB and I.I interpreted rationally.

With this literal and objective error Pope Benedict has written other books. He has interpreted Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic  Church irrationally and Ignatius Press has ignored the error.

Gospel, Catechesis, Catechism

Description
Ratzinger, one of the key persons responsible for the compilation of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, offers new insights on the catechetical character and Biblical foundation of the worldwide bestselling Catechism that has had such a positive response from ordinary Catholics across the globe. But he acknowledges that the response of many theologians and "professional religionists" has been negative toward the Catechism.
He says that if theologians don't want to be "shut out" of this worldwide development of sensus fidei and lose touch with the common Catholic, they will have to engage the Catechism positively. The main purpose of this book is to offer an invitation to this changed approach to the Catechism. He wants people to see, as he shows here, how the Catechism is an excellent teaching tool that responds to man's deepest questions about the meaning of life, how to live a good life, and how to attain happiness in this life and in eternal life. He shows how the Catechism affirms that man's happiness is love, and that the essence of true love has been manifested in the Person of Jesus Christ.
This is another book by Pope Benedict in which he does not use the rational premise, inference and traditional conclusion to interpret the Catechism of the Catholic Church. He has interpreted the Catechism with Cushingism instead of Feeneyism.

Even Redemptoris Missio and Dominus Iesus were written with Cushingism. The Ratzinger theology was there, with the false premise and inference to create a conclusion which had the hermeneutic of rupture with Catholic Tradition. There cannot be a Catechesis or an interpretation of the Gospel, for him,  according to St. Ignatius of Loyola, St.Francis Xavier or St.Robert Bellarmine.-Lionel Andrades

Living the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Vol. 1

Living the Catechism of the Catholic Church by Cardinal Schonborn (Ignatius) is inadequate. It has interpreted the Catechism irrationally with the Cushingite premise, inference and conclusion. The Catechism of the Catholic Church and Vatican Council II can be interpreted without the Ratzinger theology.

Image result for Photo POpe Benedict and Vatican Council IIThere is a fundamental mistake in the theology of Vatican Council II. We have to reconcile ourselves with this. The Council Fathers blew it.They made an elementary mistake violating the laws of physics.Upon a false premise and inference they created a new theology. Then the periti, after 1965, upheld the false narrative.Until today, it's all a secret for them, especially for Pope Benedict. Pope Benedict is still hiding the truth.https://eucharistandmission.blogspot.com/2019/10/there-is-fundamental-mistake-in.html

The Council Fathers misunderstood the laws of physics. They wrongly assumed the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOB) and being saved in invincible ignorance(I.I) referred to physical bodies in time and space. They they created a new false theology based upon this irrationality. This cannot be magisterial but is human error. Since the Holy Spirit cannot make a factual and objective error.https://eucharistandmission.blogspot.com/2019/10/the-16-books-of-vatican-council-ii-have.html

According to the laws of physics there are no exceptions to the traditional strict interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) of the popes and saints over the centuries. So the New Theology, New Ecclesiology, New Ecumenism and New Evangelisation is a lot of nonsense
