There is a Faculty of Religious Education at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt which offers a BA in Religious Education and they use the irrational premise to interpret Vatican Council II, the Creeds and Catechisms and the baptism of desire, baptism of blood and invincible ignorance. So there is an artificial rupture created by the faculty with Catholic tradition, especially the past ecclesiology, an ecumenism of return and the traditional teaching on no salvation outside the Church.
Students are not told by Cardinal Reinhardt Marx and the German bishops that in Vatican Council II, LG 8, lG 14, lG 16, UR 3, NA 2 GS 22 etc are not objectively known non Catholics in 2020 who are saved outside the Catholic Church. So they are not practical exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS) as it was known in the Middle Ages in Germany.
Instead what is being taught by the Faculty of Religious Education and the Faculty of Theology at the Catholic University of Eichstatt-Ingolstadt in Bavaria, is really deception and politically Left subterfuge.This is not Catholic-teaching.
The University invites foreign students without telling them that it is the policy of the Archdiocese of Munich and the German bishops to interpret Vatican Council II with a false premise and inference, to create a rupture with the traditional faith teachings of the Catholic Church.
There is a Chair of Didactice of Religion, Catechetics and Religious Education and they teach students that unknown cases of the baptism of desire (BOD), baptism of blood(BOB)
and invincible ignorance (I.I) are personally known non Catholics saved outside the Church. They use the same reasoning to interpret Vatican Council II. So the students are taught that the Athanasius Creed and the Syllabus of Errors are obsolete for Cathoolics today. They are not told that without the false premise there is no rupture with these traditional documents of the Church.
There is no transparency or clarity. The faculty use words like 'dogmatic' but mean something else. Similarly there understanding of ecclesiology would mean interpreting the BOD, BOB and I.I with a false premise to create a new ecclesiology in the Catholic Church which would be called a development of doctrine.
This is faking it and should be made illegal in Germany.
Cardinal Marx should come out in the open and say that they choose to intepret Catholic magisterial documents with a false premise and inference and all students and faculty are obliged to follow. Those students who do not want to use this means to interpret Vatican Council II, the Creeds and Catechisms should not enrol at Eichstadt.
Similarly he should announce that he only accepts vocations to the religious life who interpret Vatican Council II, EENS, the Catechisms and Creeds with the irrational premise. This is oligatory even though the conclusion is non traditional.
For instance when I was a student at the Pontifical Regina Apostolorum(UPRA) of the Legion of Christ in Rome and then a seminarian at the Pontifical Beda College in Rome, the seminary for late vocations under the Bishops of England and Wales, I assumed that these were Catholic institutions faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church. I had come there to learn about the teachings and disciplines of the Church. Instead they were intepreting Vatican Council II as a rupture with Feeneyite EENS and calling this Catholic teaching.
Similarly there must be many students in Germany who come to the German Catholic University of Eichstadt and are disappointed. Since the Archdiocese did not clarify that they interpret Vatican Council II, the Creeds and Catechisms and EENS with the common false premise and inference to create a non traditional conclusion which is acceptable to the political Left in Munich.-Lionel Andrades
