But the faith does not change.The enemies of the Church have the power but the Church still has the Faith which does not change.Tell your professor at the Angelicum and Urbaniana that every one needs faith and baptism(AG 7) or they are all going to Hell. The popes from Paul VI to Francis were probably forced to interpret Vatican Council II irrationally but now we know that there can be no practical exceptions to 16th century extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS).It is the Faith which has asserted itself.It's the truth which springs back to the surface every time it is pushed down.
So what if Congar,Murray,Cushing,Rahner and Ratzinger were there at Vatican Council II, LG 8,LG 14,LG 16,UR 3,NA 2, Gs 22 etc are always hypothetical.Always.Always, even when there is a new evangelisation dictated to the two popes.Even when a papal theologian keeps silent.
The Polish professor did not object when Cardinal Luiz Ladaria sj projected Lumen Gentium 8 as an exception to the past ecclesiology and 16th century EENS.This was when Cardinal Ladaria was asked a question by an Associated Press correspondent at the Placuet Deo Press Conference (March 1, 2016).
Fr.Prof. Wojciech Giertych o.p. and the Dominicans also did not object when Pope Benedict said EENS was no more like it was for the missionaries in the 16th century, and there was 'a devlopment' with Vatican CouncilII ( Avvenire, March 2016).He meant, Vatican Council II interpreted with hypothetical cases of LG 8 ,LG 16, GS 22 etc, being non hypothetical and objective exceptions to EENS.Irrational, again.
For the pope they were examples of known salvation outside the Church and so EENS had become obsolete.The new theology was outside the Church there is salvation.
So Vatican Council II today has exceptions to traditional mission doctrine for all the professors even when there are none mentioned in the Council-text.
They do not say that all must accept Jesus in the Catholic Church for salvation ( to avoid Hell) since their priority is the world and its powers and not the truth,which keeps asserting itself for those who want to see it.-Lionel Andrades
