Boston College has named a university-stree after Fr.John Courtney Murray sj not knowing that without the false premise and inference Vatican Council II supports Fr. Leonard Feeney, whom they expelled for his Catholic beliefs on salvation.
There are numerous books and articles written on Vatican Council II at Jesuit Boston College, USA and they all use a false premise, to project the Council as a rupture with Catholic Tradition, especially Feeneyite extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS).
Boston College expelled Fr.Leonard Feeney and Catholic professors, for holding the strict interpretation of the dogma EENS.
The Americanists at that time claimed that the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOB) and invincible ignorance(I.I) were exceptions to EENS. The same error would be repeated years later at Vatican Council II.
Fr. Leonard Feeney refused to say that unknown cases of BOD,BOB and I.I were known exceptions to the traditional interpretation of EENS.So the Jesuits expelled him from the community.
Also for Cardinal Richard Cushing, the Archbishop of Boston, invisible cases of BOD, BOB and I.I were visible exceptions to the centuries-old interpretation of EENS. As Archbishop of Boston he prohibited Catholics from visiting the St.Benedict Center.
Fr. John Courtney Murray at Vatican Council II also interpreted unknown cases as being known exceptions to the past ecclesiology, upon which was based the proclamation of the Social Reign of Christ the King and the non separation of Church and State.
Now after 50 years we realize that Murray and the Jesuits at Boston College made a mistake.
