Young priest made a mistake yesterday. Norm for salvation is faith and baptism(AG 7) and not unknown cases of GS 22, LG 8, LG 16, UR 3, etc. This is a common error.Homiliies in all Rites are presented with irrational Cushingism to create a rupture with Tradition (Syllabus of Errors of Pius IX, EENS etc)

The priest yesterday in his homily said that there is also salvation outside the Catholic Church and that we should reject anyone who says there is exclusive salvation in only the Catholic Church.
But exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church is the traditional teaching of the Church which is also there in Vatican Council II ( Feeneyite). The priest does not interpret Vatican Council II with Feeneyism but instead with irrational Cushingism. So his inference is different from mine.
With Feeneyism we read Vatican Council II differently. We look at Vatican Council II differently.
Feeneyism looks at hypothetical cases as just being hypothetical. Cushingism looks at hypothetical cases as being non hypothetical e.g hypothetical cases of LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc in Vatican Council II, would be non hypothetical for a Cushingite. They would be considered objective and not subjective, as they really are. They would be seen as being explicit and not implicit.
Feeneyism as a philosophy looks at invisible people as referenced in GS 22, LG 16, UR 3 etc, as being physically invisible. This is something obvious. It is a given. But Cushingites consider GS 22, LG 16, UR 3 etc as being physically visible.Only in this way there can be a rupture with the teaching on exclusive salvation. Cushingites need to assume that there are known Catholics saved outside the Church. This is the common Cushingite reasoning, or philosophy. Their concluding theology is outside the Church there is salvation. This is the New Theology, Cushingite theology.

With Feeneyism, Vatican Council II, in Ad Gentes 7 says all need faith and baptism for salvation. All.While GS 22, LG 16, UR 3 etc are not objective exceptions to this 'all'.There are no practical exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS) and there are no practical exceptions to Ad Gentes 7. God made it this way.

With Cushingism GS 22, LG 16, UR 3 etc being'visible' and 'personally known' would become objective exceptions to EENS, for the young priest.
With Feeneyism GS 22, LG 16, UR 3, LG 8 etc, would not be exceptions to the dogma EENS and the past exclusive eccclesiology. There can only be an ecumenism of return. But with Cushingism EENS can be made obsolete. It can be rejected.A new EENS is created, EENS( Cushingite). It sees 'objective cases' of the the baptism of desire etc, as being objective exceptions to EENS. It interprets the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOB) and being saved in invincible ignorance(I.I) as being being objective. This is Cushingite BOD,BOB and I.I as compared to Feeneyite BOD, BOB and I.I.It was Fr. Leonard Feeney of Boston who said that there are no literal cases of the baptism of desire.
Now when a Feeneyite, like me, affirms exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church it is based upon Vatican Council II( Feeneyite).
I am also reading the Catechisms and Creeds with Feeneyism. The Bible is Feeneyite.John 3:5 says all need the baptism of water for salvation which is given to Catholics who have faith within the Church. The Bible does not mention cases of BOD, BOB and I.I.
Cushingism is irrational and creates a rupture with Tradition (Syllabus of Errors etc) and the Bible.
The Letter of the Holy Office 1949(LOHO) to the Archbishop of Boston Cardinal Richard Cushing is Cushingite for most Catholics. It has an objective error. Invisible cases of the baptism of desire, baptism of blood and being saved in invincible ignorance would be visible and objective exceptions to exclusive salvation in the Church.
Similarly Cardinal Richard Cushing and the Jesuits made a mistake when they came to Vatican Council II assuming invisible people are visible. This was an objective error. But only in this way they could create a rupture with the past .
Now the homilies at Holy Mass, in all Rites and liturgies, are presented with irrational Cushingism as a philosophy and theology. So there is the 'hermeneutic of rupture' with the past ( EENS etc). The message now is outside the Church there is salvation instead of outside the Church there is no salvation.

So the priest made a mistake yesterday evening at Mass in Italian.Since the norm for salvation is faith and baptism(AG 7) and not unknown cases of LG 8, UR 3, LG 16, NA 2, GS 22 etc.-Lionel Andrades
