CDF CLARIFIES COMMENT ON CONDOMS BUT NOT JEWS : POPE CONTRADICTS BIBLE

The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Vatican has issued a clarification on Pope Benedict’s comment in the book by Peter Seewald. The CDF has said that the Church stance on condoms has not changed.

The CDF has not issued a clarification on Pope Benedict’s controversial comments on the Jews. The pope was contradicting three infallible definitions by three popes and Councils. He was contradicting Vatican Council II and post Vatican Council II magisterial documents especially that of Pope John Paul II. He was directly contradicting the Bible.

The pope told Seewald that Jews do not have to convert, the Good Friday Prayer which he Revised was not for the conversion of the Jews in the present times and there is no mission in the Church directed to the Jews long standing demands, and threats, of the Zionists were appeased.

1.
Christ's discourse with Nicodemus. John's testimony. [1] And there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. [2] This man came to Jesus by night, and said to him: Rabbi, we know that thou art come a teacher from God; for no man can do these signs which thou dost, unless God be with him. [3] Jesus answered, and said to him: Amen, amen I say to thee, unless a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. [4] Nicodemus saith to him: How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born again? [5] Jesus answered: Amen, amen I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Matt. 28. 19. - John 3:5 Douay Rheims Bible

Douay Rheims Commentary

[5] "Unless a man be born again"... By these words our Saviour hath declared the necessity of baptism; and by the word water it is evident that the application of it is necessary with the words.

Note. Jesus is saying that without the Baptism of water given to those who have Faith, and are part of the Church He founded, they cannot see the Kingdom of God. Jesus was saying that Jews and Gentiles need to convert to go to Heaven.

Jesus is telling us, that millions of Jews are presently on the way to Hell unless before they die they believe and are baptized.
2.
That whosoever believeth in him, may not perish; but may have life everlasting.

[16] For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting.-John 3: 15:18

Douay Rheims Bible commentary

18] "Is not judged"... He that believeth, viz., by a faith working through charity, is not judged, that is, is not condemned; but the obstinate unbeliever is judged, that is, condemned already, by retrenching himself from the society of Christ and his church.

Note: Jesus indicates that the present day Jews will perish unless they accept the Promised Jewish Messiah, who made an everlasting Covenant for all time, for Catholics who are the new Chosen People of God.

Catholic Tradition repeats this. So do the Church Councils.

3.
The Father loveth the Son: and he hath given all things into his hand.

[36] He that believeth in the Son, hath life everlasting; but he that believeth not the Son, shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. -John Chapter 3:35-36

Note: That the wrath of God will abide on them is a reference to Hell.Damnation for Jews.

This is our Catholic Faith.
These are just some of the many passages from the Gospel of St. John which says that Jews need to convert into the Catholic Church, the only Church Jesus founded, to avoid Hell.

So the Holy Father directly contradicts the Bible.

Judaism

I must say that from the first day of my theological studies, the profound unity between the Old and New Testament, between the two parts of our Sacred Scripture, was somehow clear to me. I had realized that we could read the New Testament only together with what had preceded it, otherwise we would not understand it. Then naturally what happened in the Third Reich struck us as Germans, and drove us all the more to look at the people of Israel with humility, shame, and love.

In my theological formation, these things were interwoven, and marked the pathway of my theological thought. So it was clear to me – and here again in absolute continuity with John Paul II – that in my proclamation of the Christian faith there had to be a central place for this new interweaving, with love and understanding, of Israel and the Church, based on respect for each one’s way of being and respective mission[. . .]

A change also seemed necessary to me in the ancient liturgy. In fact, the formula was such as to truly wound the Jews, and it certainly did not express in a positive way the great, profound unity between Old and New Testament. For this reason, I thought that a modification was necessary in the ancient liturgy, in particular in reference to our relationship with our Jewish friends. I modified it in such a way that it contained our faith, that Christ is salvation for all. That there do not exist two ways of salvation, and that therefore Christ is also the savior of the Jews, and not only of the pagans. But also in such a way that one did not pray directly for the conversion of the Jews in a missionary sense, but that the Lord might hasten the historic hour in which we will all be united. For this reason, the arguments used polemically against me by a series of theologians are rash, and do not do justice to what was done. - Benedict XVI, “Light of the World: The Pope, the Church, and the Signs of the Times”, Ignatius Press, 2010. (From the website La Chiesa) (Emphasis added)
Pope Benedict XVI states above that he revised the Good Friday Prayer ‘in such a way that it contained our faith, that Christ is salvation for all.’ (This of course does not say that all Jews are on the path to Hell unless they convert as the Church has taught.) The pope says ‘that there do not exist two ways of salvation’(This is bad theology. It is from a man once known as Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger . He indicates there is only one way of salvation and Jews are saved in general through this one way; Christ and the Church, and so they do not have to convert. This is an evil doctrine. It is a falsehood. It denies an ex cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and the above mentioned Bible passages from the Gospel of John.) The pope continues ‘and that therefore Christ is also the saviour of the Jews, and not only of the pagans ‘( Theologically this is saying nothing.lChrist is the saviour of the Jews and pagans and they are saved, even if they do not enter the Catholic Church?).

4.
And Jesus said to them: I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall not hunger: and he that believeth in me shall never thirst.

[36] But I said unto you, that you also have seen me, and you believe not. [37] All that the Father giveth to me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me, I will not cast out. [38] Because I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me. [39] Now this is the will of the Father who sent me: that of all that he hath given me, I should lose nothing; but should raise it up again in the last day. [40] And this is the will of my Father that sent me: that every one who seeth the Son, and believeth in him, may have life everlasting, and I will raise him up in the last day...

[46] Not that any man hath seen the Father; but he who is of God, he hath seen the Father. [47] Amen, amen I say unto you: He that believeth in me, hath everlasting life. [48] I am the bread of life. [49] Your fathers did eat manna in the desert, and are dead. [50] This is the bread which cometh down from heaven; that if any man eat of it, he may not die. [51] I am the living bread which came down from heaven. [52] If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever; and the bread that I will give, is my flesh, for the life of the world. [53] The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying: How can this man give us his flesh to eat? [54] Then Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say unto you: Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you shall not have life in you. [55] He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath everlasting life: and I will raise him up in the last day. -John 6:35-40,46-55

Douay Rheims commentary:

[54] "Eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood"... To receive the body and blood of Christ, is a divine precept, insinuated in this text; which the faithful fulfil, though they receive but in one kind; because in one kind they receive both body and blood, which cannot be separated from each other. Hence, life eternal is here promised to the worthy receiving, though but in one kind. Ver. 52. If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever; and the bread that I will give, is my flesh for the life of the world. Ver. 58. He that eateth me, the same also shall live by me. Ver. 59. He that eateth this bread, shall live for ever.

Note: Jesus is saying that the Eucharist is necessary for salvation. Jews and other non-Catholics do not receive the Eucharist.
5.
The Jews therefore said: Will he kill himself, because he said: Whither I go, you cannot come? [23] And he said to them: You are from beneath, I am from above. You are of this world, I am not of this world. [24] Therefore I said to you, that you shall die in your sins. For if you believe not that I am he, you shall die in your sin. [25] They said therefore to him: Who art thou? Jesus said to them: The beginning, who also speak unto you...
31] Then Jesus said to those Jews, who believed him: If you continue in my word, you shall be my disciples indeed. [32] And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. [33]-John 8: 22-25, 31-32

Note: Jesus indicates that there are Jews who can be saved. Those who respond can be saved.
6.
I am come a light into the world; that whosoever believeth in me, may not remain in darkness. [47] And if any man hear my words, and keep them not, I do not judge him: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. [48] He that despiseth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him; the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. [49] For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father who sent me, he gave me commandment what I should say, and what I should speak. [50] And I know that his commandment is life everlasting. The things therefore that I speak, even as the Father said unto me, so do I speak. John 12 : 46-48 Douay Rheims Bible

Note: Jesus is love. The Promised Jewish Messiah did not come to condemn or hate but to save all. He told us about the conditions in the next supernatural life we are all heading to after death. God the Father chose that all people be united into the Catholic Church with belief in Jesus the only Saviour or the world. Jews and others today know this teaching. Through modern means of communication and education they are informed. Those who are reading these posts are informed.

If they still do not enter then they have chosen to ignore 'the useful information'given to them by Jesus through his Church. On the Day of Judgement they will be condemned.
Pope Benedict XVI, who is still my pope is in grave sin since he has denied the following ex cathedra dogma which Pope Pius XII, whom the pope wants to beatify, called an ‘infallible’ teaching.

1.There is but one universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved.” (Pope Innocent III, Fourth Lateran Council, 1215). Ex cathedra.
2.“We declare, say, define, and pronounce that it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff.” (Pope Boniface VIII, the Bull Unam Sanctam, 1302.).Ex cathedra
.3.“The most Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that none of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics and schismatics, can have a share in life eternal; but that they will go into the eternal fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless before death they are joined with Her; and that so important is the unity of this ecclesiastical body that only those remaining within this unity can profit by the sacraments of the Church unto salvation, and they alone can receive an eternal recompense for their fasts, their almsgivings, their other works of Christian piety and the duties of a Christian soldier. No one, let his almsgiving be as great as it may, no one, even if he pour out his blood for the Name of Christ, can be saved, unless he remain within the bosom and the unity of the Catholic Church.” (Pope Eugene IV, the Bull Cantate Domino, 1441.) Ex cathedra – from the website Catholicism.org and “No Salvation outside the Church”: Link List, the Three Dogmatic Statements Regarding EENS http://nosalvationoutsideofthecatholicchurch.blogspot.com/
The rejction of an ex cathedra dogma in public is a mortal sin. According to Pope John Paul's Veritatis Splendor, a mortal sin is always is a mortal sin and the outward action indicates the inner intention. In this state Pope Benedict XVI  is not in communion with the Church. Confession and a public clarification is the requirement according to Canon Law before he celebrates Holy Mass.
Cardinal William Levada, Prefect, Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, needs to issue a clarification. It was not done when Cardinal Tarcisco Bertone, Vatican, Secretary of State  also denied the ex-cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. In a front page article in the L’Osservatore Romano (April 4, 2008) a statement was issued to the Chief Rabbinate of Israel to prevent war and to resume dialogue. The report said that Jews in the present times do not have to convert.

Similarly on Sept.22,2009 Cardinal Bagnasco President of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of Italy (CEI) issued a directive before two liberal Rabbis in his office, stating that the Revised Good Friday Prayer for the Conversion of the Jews was not for their conversion and that Jews do not have to convert in the present times.
Are the pope and the two Italian cardinals automatically excommunicated?
Pope Benedict XVI  and Cardinal  Bertone, former Secretary of the CDF, are now rejecting  an ex cathedra dogma when they ex communicated Fr. Tissa Balasuriya OMI for rejecting the dogma of the Immaculate Conception of Our Lady?
Grave matter: The Holy Father denies/changes the ex cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. This 'infallible' teaching (Pope Pius XII,Letter of the Holy Office 1949) must be firmly believed. It is not to be denied in public by Catholics.

Knowingly: He continues a policy on this issue which is the same as the enemies of the Church (Zionists).

Freely: His life is threathend and so are of millions of other Catholics. Whether he was free to reject an ex cathedra dogma God will judge.

About one and an a half hour back I walked across the Palatino ground where the Catholics were martyred. It was here that St.Theresa of Lisseux came with her father, when she first visited Rome to meet the Pope. She kissed the grass on the ground.

Those martyrs chose not to change Church teaching, they chose not to deny the teachings of the Church. They did not deny Jesus.

They too could have denied the faith in the name of peace or survival etc.
This choice was there before so many martyrs, including those at the Palatino in Rome whose relics are placed above a side altar in the nearby Church of Santa Anastasia al Palatino. The relics can be seen. People come there and pray silently.

POPE SAYS REVISED GOOD FRIDAY PRAYER IS NOT FOR THE CONVERSION OF THE JEWS ? EARTHQUAKE SHIFT IN CATHOLIC TEACHING ?

Holy Father concedes to Zionists.Changes apostolic teaching and contradicts the Gospel of St. John. The rejection of an ex cathedra dogma is a mortal sin. In this state one is not in communion with the Church. Confession and a public clarification is the requirement according to Canon Law before celebrating Holy Mass.

Pope Benedict XVI finally admited that he revised the Good Friday Prayer ‘in such a way that it contained our faith, that Christ is salvation for all.’ (This of course does not say that all Jews are on the path to Hell unless they convert as the Church has taught.) The pope says ‘that there do not exist two ways of salvation’( i.e. there is only one way of salvation and Jews are saved in general through this one way; Christ and the Church, and so they do not have to convert. This is an evil doctrine. It is a falsehood.) The pope continues ‘and that therefore Christ is also the saviour of the Jews, and not only of the pagans ‘(Christ is the saviour of the Jews and pagans and they are saved, even if they do not enter the Catholic Church?)

Cardinal Tarcisco Bertone, Vatican, Secretary of State has also denied the ex-cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. In a front page article in the L’Osservatore Romano (April 4, 2008) a statement was issued to the Chief Rabbinate of Israel to prevent war and to resume dialogue. The report said that Jews in the present times do not have to convert.

At that time the Italian daily Il Messaggerro reported that there was a threat of war with Israel. So when Pope Benedict issued the Revised Prayer he probably saved his life and those of many others in the Vatican. He also then went to Israel as the guest of the Israeli government. His visit was welcomed with advertisements placed in Israel by the pro abortion, pro homosexuality, pro euthanasia, Jewish Anti Defamation League.

'A change also seemed necessary to me in the ancient liturgy' the pope tells Seawald.

The Zionist ADL could have been a factor in the recent installation of the Archbishop of Washington Donald Wuerl, as cardinal. He continues to give pro abortion politicians the Eucharist.

On Sept.22, 2009 Cardinal Bagnasco President of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of Italy (CEI) issued a directive before two liberal Rabbis in his office, stating that the Revised Good Friday Prayer for the Conversion of the Jews was not for their conversion and that Jews do not have to convert in the present times. This is a negation of the Bible and a rejection of the ex cathedra infallible dogma outside the Church there is no salvation (extra ecclesiam nulla salus). The dogma is supported by the Catechism of the Catholic Church and Vatican Council II and has been called an ‘infallible’ teaching by Pope Pius XII (Letter of the Holy Office 1949)

Cardinal Walter Kaspar criticized Pope John Paul II’s encyclical Ecclesia di Eucarestia in 2003. In a front-cover report, of the magazine 30 Giorni he said that no one believes in extra ecclesiam nulla salus. He was disappointed this was the ecclesiology of Ecclesia di Eucarestia.

Cardinal Walter Kaspar wrote the front page article in the L’Osservatore Romano saying that Jews in the present times do not have to convert. The article was presented to the Chief Rabbi of Israel it seems with the approval of the pope. The Israeli threat to the Vatican ended. It is evil when in the name of expedience, wrote G.K Chesterton Catholic theology and doctrine is exchanged. It is the work of the devil.

Cardinal Kaspar can receive the Eucharist even though it is a grave sin to reject the solemn dogma, extra ecclesiam nulla salus. Cardinals Bertone and Bagnasco also celebrate Mass as usual. The pope concelebrates Mass with them.

36. Invisible communion, though by its nature always growing, presupposes the life of grace, by which we become “partakers of the divine nature” (2 Pet 1:4), and the practice of the virtues of faith, hope and love. Only in this way do we have true communion with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Nor is faith sufficient; we must persevere in sanctifying grace and love, remaining within the Church “bodily” as well as “in our heart”; 72 what is required, in the words of Saint Paul, is “faith working through love” (Gal 5:6).-Ecclesia di Eucarestia (Emphasis added)
Jews and other non Catholics do not have Sanctifying Grace which is received in general through the Sacraments of the Catholic Church.(Dominus Iesus). They are not “bodily” in the Church. Their souls are in danger of being eternally lost. It is not an act of charity by the cardinals to tell them they do not have to convert. Neither is it an act of charity by the pope. When one rejects an ex cathedra dogma does one not also lose Sanctifying Grace?

37. ‘…The judgment of one's state of grace obviously belongs only to the person involved, since it is a question of examining one's conscience. However, in cases of outward conduct which is seriously, clearly and steadfastly contrary to the moral norm, the Church, in her pastoral concern for the good order of the community and out of respect for the sacrament, cannot fail to feel directly involved. The Code of Canon Law refers to this situation of a manifest lack of proper moral disposition when it states that those who “obstinately persist in manifest grave sin” are not to be admitted to Eucharistic communion.-Ecclesia di Eucarestia.
Not to convert into the Catholic Church for Jews in general is a grave sin. To be informed and to still remain a Jew is a grave sin which is being committed with full knowledge.

So we now have a new Eucharistic issue created in the Catholic Church. It is an apostasy approved by the Vatican Curia cardinals and acknowledged in writing by the pope. It is a sacrilege of the Eucharist. It is creating confusion with a teaching that is contrary to Dominus Iesus, the Notification of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith on the book by Fr. Jacques Dupuis S.J, Ad Gentes 7,Vatican Council II and, the ex cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation. It is completely against the teachings of Pope John Paul II.

From the Catholic perspective this is a denying of Jesus as the only and unique Saviour and a denying of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. It is the denial of the Church. It is presenting Jesus without the Church. Affirming the teaching outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation is obligatory for all Catholics as is our belief in the Immaculate Conception of Mary. Both are ex cathedra, infallible teachings.

This would mean, according to Cardinal Bagnasco and Cardinal Bertone that either the popes of the past were fallible or that Pope Benedict XVI is fallible on a faith issue. It would mean that Pope Benedict XVI, according to the two Italian cardinals, is contradicting the Catholic teaching on the infallibility of popes on issues of faith. The cardinals indicate that the Holy Father is also contradicting the solemn ex cathedra teaching extra ecclesiam nulla salus. The Holy Father has confirmed the worst.

Pope John Paul II has said that Judaism is not a path to salvation and Jews need to be oriented into the Catholic Church (Notification, Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Ref. Fr. Dupuis, 2001 by Cardinal Ratzinger).Even though Jesus died for all people, they need to respond for this salvation by entering the Church His Mystical Body (Dominus Iesus 21).Cardinal Bagnasco, Bertone and Kaspar were refuting the teachings of Pope John Paul II and indicated they had the approval of the Holy Father.

Does Pope Benedict XVI now reject an ex cathedra dogma when he as a cardinal ex communicated Fr. Tissa Balasuriya OMI for rejecting the dogma of the Immaculate Conception of Our Lady?

This does not change our beliefs as Catholics.

Since the present people of Israel are not ‘the chosen people ‘of God. Neither are they the people of the New Covenant. They reject the Messiah.Judaism presently does not have the Temple, nor the Ark of the Covenant, nor the Sacrifice within the Temple, nor the Promised Jewish Messiah. All they have is a remembrance.

It is those who follow Jesus who made a New Covenant with his Blood, who are the Chosen People of God. They are the Elect, the people of the New Covenant. They are the Chosen People in the only Church Jesus found. It is to this church that the Bible refers often. Jesus called this church, “my church”.

The Jews were the Chosen People, the people of the New Testament, and God made covenants with Abraham, Moses and the other Jewish prophets which was fulfilled in Jesus Christ.

Those who remain in this Church with Catholic Faith and the baptism of water and who live the Gospel are the Elect, the new Chosen People of God, the continuation of the Jewish religion, the people of New Covenant.

It’s the Catholic Church which has the Sacrifice at Mass. It replaces the old Temple.

The Ark of the Covenant is the Presence of God in His Body, Blood and Divinity in the Eucharist.

And all of this was created by the Promised Jewish Messiah for whom Israel was waiting and for whom the non Messianic Jews are still waiting.

Until all the Jews today, Messianic and non Messianic, convert into the Catholic Church they face eternal death.(Cantate Domino, Council of Florence,1441, Ex Cathedra, on extra eclesiam nulla salus, Pope Pius XII's Letter of the Holy Office 1949, which referred to the 'infallible' dogma, Vatican Council II (Ad Gentes 7), Pope Paul VI's Evangelii Nuntiandi (1975),Catechism of the Catholic Church 845,846,Dominus Iesus 20,Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Vatican Notification on Fr. Jacques Dupuis S.J 2001,Pope John Paul II Ecclesia di Eucarestia (2003) etc).

MORTAL SIN AND VERITATIS SPLENDOR

According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church when the subject of a sin is grave matter, and it is committed freely and knowingly then it is a mortal sin. According to Veritatis Splendor a mortal sin is always a mortal sin and the external action indicates the internal intention. It is always a mortal sin to reject an ex cathedra dogma.

Here is the ex cathedra dogma which the pope has never affirmed directly. In charity we have always given him the benefit of the doubt.

1
. “There is but one universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved.” (Pope Innocent III, Fourth Lateran Council, 1215). Ex cathedra.

2.“We declare, say, define, and pronounce that it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff.” (Pope Boniface VIII, the Bull Unam Sanctam, 1302.).Ex cathedra.

3.“The most Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that none of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics and schismatics, can have a share in life eternal; but that they will go into the eternal fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless before death they are joined with Her; and that so important is the unity of this ecclesiastical body that only those remaining within this unity can profit by the sacraments of the Church unto salvation, and they alone can receive an eternal recompense for their fasts, their almsgivings, their other works of Christian piety and the duties of a Christian soldier.
Also the Catechism has never specified that those saved with invincible ignorance refer to implicit salvation. The Holy Father as Cardinal Ratzinger did not know of personal cases of people with the baptism of desire or invincible ignorance. Only God knows explicit (visible) cases of the baptism of desire or invincible ignorance. We do not know of a single case in the present time. So  LG 16  does not contradict the dogma but the Vatican never ever mentioned it..

Those saved with implicit-to-us invincible ignorance are known only to God and so it does not contradict Cantate Domino.

The most Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that none of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics and schismatics, can have a share in life eternal; but that they will go into the eternal fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless before death they are joined with Her; and that so important is the unity of this ecclesiastical body that only those remaining within this unity can profit by the sacraments of the Church unto salvation, and they alone can receive an eternal recompense for their fasts, their almsgivings, their other works of Christian piety and the duties of a Christian soldier. No one, let his almsgiving be as great as it may, no one, even if he pour out his blood for the Name of Christ, can be saved, unless he remain within the bosom and the unity of the Catholic Church.” (Pope Eugene IV, the Bull Cantate Domino, 1441.) Ex cathedra
Since invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire are not explicit to us it does not contradict Vatican Council II (Ad Gentes 7).

Therefore, all must be converted to Him, made known by the Church's preaching, and all must be incorporated into Him by baptism and into the Church which is His body. For Christ Himself "by stressing in express language the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mark 16:16; John 3:5), at the same time confirmed the necessity of the Church, into which men enter by baptism, as by a door.-Ad Gentes 7,Vatican Council II.

Those saved with invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire which is only a concept for us does not contradict the Catechism of the Catholic Church, CCC 847,848 does not contradict CCC 845,846.

To reunite all his children, scattered and led astray by sin, the Father willed to call the whole of humanity together into his Son's Church. The Church is the place where humanity must rediscover its unity and salvation. The Church is "the world reconciled." She is that bark which "in the full sail of the Lord's cross, by the breath of the Holy Spirit, navigates safely in this world." According to another image dear to the Church Fathers, she is prefigured by Noah's ark, which alone saves from the flood.-Catechism of the Catholic Church n.845

"Outside the Church there is no salvation"

846 How are we to understand this affirmation, often repeated by the Church Fathers?Re-formulated positively, it means that all salvation comes from Christ the Head through the Church which is his Body:

Basing itself on Scripture and Tradition, the Council teaches that the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation: the one Christ is the mediator and the way of salvation; he is present to us in his body which is the Church. He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and Baptism, and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men enter through Baptism as through a door. Hence they could not be saved who, knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter it or to remain in it.-Catechism of the Catholic Church 846 (Emphasis added. Note: To enter as through a door was the term used by the Church Fathers for the rigorist interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus.)
LG 16 and CCC 847,848 do not oppose Dominus Iesus 20. Since the reference to implicit salvation does not contradict the need for explicit entry into the Church for salvation but never did the Vatican issue a clarification when the Zionist media continued with lies on this issue and that of Fr.Leonard Feeney.

Above all else, it must be firmly believed that “the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation: the one Christ is the mediator and the way of salvation; he is present to us in his body which is the Church. He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mk 16:16; Jn 3:5), and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men enter through baptism as through a door”.77 This doctrine must not be set against the universal salvific will of God (cf. 1 Tim 2:4); “it is necessary to keep these two truths together, namely, the real possibility of salvation in Christ for all mankind and the necessity of the Church for this salvation”.-Dominus Iesus 20 (Emphasis added)
So to say Jews do not have to convert in the present time is also contrary to Pope John Paul II’s encyclical Ecclesia di Eucarestia (2003) which indicates that everyone needs the Eucharist in the Catholic Church for salvation.

1.There can be Jews saved who are in invincible ignorance etc and THEY WILL BE KNOWN ONLY TO GOD.

2.While everyone WITH NO EXCEPTION, every Jew, needs to be a formal, visible member of the Catholic Church to got to Heaven avoid Hell.

To say Jews do not have to convert is promoting the Freemason, Zionist teaching.

Letter of Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone on the Revised Good Friday Prayer for the Conversion of the Jews.
Bertone, Tarcisio
Città del Vaticano, 2008/05/14

Mr Oded Wiener
Director-General of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel
Beit Yahav
80 Yirmiyahu Street
P.O. Box 36016
Jerusalem

Dear Sir,

I write with reference to the Statement issued by the Chief Rabbinate of Israel in response to the publication of the Note of 4 February 2008, altering the Oremus et pro Iudaeis prayer in the 1962 edition of the Missale Romanum.

In this regard, I would point out that – by means of the "Communiqué of the Secretariat of State" which appeared in the daily edition of L'Osservatore Romano on 5 April 2008, and subsequently in the weekly language editions of the same publication – the Holy See has clearly emphasized the Catholic Church's firm commitment, especially in the wake of the Second Vatican Ecumenical Council, to promote and develop relations with the Jews through dialogue marked by profound respect, sincere esteem and cordial friendship. This commitment remains unchanged, especially in view of the spiritual links that exist between Jews and Christians.

As you have observed, particular prominence has also been given to a substantial and detailed article on the subject by Cardinal Walter Kasper, President of the Commission for Religious Relations with Judaism. This article appeared on the front page of L'Osservatore Romano on 10 April 2008, as a sign of the importance attributed to the text and the fact that what it says about the new version of the Prayer for the Jews in the 1962 edition of the Roman Missal is commonly held. Among other things, the Cardinal emphasized that a sincere dialogue between Jews and Christians is possible, on the one hand, on the basis of our common faith in the one God, Creator of heaven and earth, and in the promises made to Abraham, but on the other hand, through respectfully acknowledging the fundamental difference over faith in Jesus as Christ and Redeemer of all mankind. As Cardinal Kasper clearly explains, the new Oremus et pro Iudaeis is not intended to promote proselytism towards the Jews and it opens up an eschatological perspective. Christians, however, cannot but bear witness to their faith, in full and total respect for the freedom of others, and this leads them also to pray that all will come to recognize Christ.

Likewise, on his recent visit to the United States of America, the Holy Father gave a number of indications of his sentiments towards the Jews. Indeed, after meeting the representatives of various religions, the Pope particularly wanted to receive a group of Jewish religious leaders in order to hand over to them a special Message on the occasion of the great feast of Pesah, devoted to celebrating the great marvels that Almighty God has worked for his people.

In New York, His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI visited a synagogue in order to meet personally a Jewish community whose Rabbi was a survivor from the Nazi extermination camps. He wanted to manifest his sympathy, affection and closeness to the Jewish people, and to demonstrate, through a tangible and special gesture, the Holy See's commitment to respectful and loving dialogue, which leads to ever deeper relations of friendship and understanding.

In the hope that this letter may serve to dispel any remaining doubt on the part of the Chief Rabbinate over the Catholic Church's stance towards the Jewish people and over the intentions behind the alteration of the Oremus et pro Iudaeis of the 1962 Missale Romanum, I remain

Yours sincerely,
Tarcisio Card. Bertone

Secretary of State

‘WE CATHOLICS ARE THE CHOSEN PEOPLE OF GOD. WE ARE THE PEOPLE OF THE NEW COVENANT’

Yesterday (26.12.2010) at a late evening Sunday Mass there was a prayer intention for the people of Israel, that they may know Jesus as the Messiah.

However in the actual prayer there seemed confusion. Since, the priest referred to the people in Israel as the “popolo eletto” (Chosen People of God, the Elect)). He referred to them as the people of the New Covenant (Nuovo Alleanza).

Was he referring to the New Israel, the New Jerusalem? Since the present people of Israel are not ‘the chosen people ‘of God. Neither are they the people of the New Covenant. They reject the Messiah.

Judaism presently does not have the Temple, nor the Ark of the Covenant, nor the Sacrifice within the Temple, nor the Promised Jewish Messiah.

The Jews were the Chosen People, the people of the New Testatment, and God made covenants with Abraham,Moses and the other Jewish prophets which was fulfilled in Jesus Christ.

Until all the Jews today, Messianic and non Messianic, convert into the Catholic Church they face eternal death.(Cantate Domino,Council of Florence,1441, Ex Cathedra, on extra eclesiam nulla salus, Pope Pius XII's Letter of the Holy Office 1949, which referred to the 'infallible' dogma,Vatican Council II (Ad Gentes 7), Pope Paul VI's Evangelii  Nuntiandi (1975),Catechism of the Catholic Church 845,846,Dominus Iesus 20,Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Vatican Notification on Fr.Jacques Dupuis S.J 2001,Pope John Paul II Ecclesia di Eucarestia (2003) etc)

After the Mass I briefly spoke to the priest who delivered  the homily to clarify what he said in the Prayer Intention.

I asked, “Noi siamo il popolo eletto?” (We are the Chosen People of God, the Elect ?) ”

He replied "Si".(Yes).

The new Covenant was made by Jesus? I asked.
He answered "Yes".

L’azione esterna indica l'intenzione interna.

MESSAGE INCOMPLETE

IT'S A MORTAL SIN TO GIVE A DONATION TO EWTN THIS CHRISTMAS

According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church when the subject of a sin is grave matter, and it is committed freely and knowingly then it is a mortal sin. According to Veritatis Splendor a mortal sin is always a mortal sin and the external action indicates the internal intention.

Grave matter: The Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) denies/changes the ex cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, on their website and television programs. This 'infallible' teaching (Pope Pius XII,Letter of the Holy Office 1949) must be firmly believed. It is not to be denied in  public by Catholics.

Knowingly: EWTN continues a policy on this issue which is the same as the enemies of the Church (Zionists). EWTN has been informed many times directly and through reports on the Internet.

Here is the ex cathedra dogma which is at the centre of the EWTN controversy.

No one, let his almsgiving be as great as it may, no one, even if he pour out his blood for the Name of Christ, can be saved, unless he remain within the bosom and the unity of the Catholic Church.” (Pope Eugene IV, the Bull Cantate Domino, 1441.) Ex cathedra – from the website Catholicism.org and “No Salvation outside the Church”: Link List, the Three Dogmatic Statements Regarding EENS http://nosalvationoutsideofthecatholicchurch.blogspot.com//

Yet the ‘rigorist interpretation’ is a Magisterial teaching of the Catholic Church and the Church has not retracted, at any time, extra ecclesiam nulla salus.Vatican Council II has the same message.

So will you give your donation to an organisation which rejects an infallible ex cathedra teaching? EWTN changes it to adapt to wild interpretations of the Council and Catechism. These interpretations with no supportive text from Vatican Council II  are a break from Sacred Tradition.
Therefore, all must be converted to Him, made known by the Church's preaching, and all must be incorporated into Him by baptism and into the Church which is His body. For Christ Himself "by stressing in express language the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mark 16:16; John 3:5), at the same time confirmed the necessity of the Church, into which men enter by baptism, as by a door…-Ad Gentes 7.Vatican Council II.
Mother Angelica, EWTN’s founder, was supportive of this dogma. She had a special page on extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) placed on the EWTN website. That page with the quotations of the Church Fathers, affirming the rigorist interpretation of EENS,  was removed by the new management and the local bishop. Mother Angelica had to leave EWTN. In the name of obedience she allowed EWTN to be taken over by those who oppose the ‘rigorist interpretation’ of the extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
Mother Angelica‘s page was replaced on the website created by Trinity Communications' Jeffrey Mirus. He placed on the EWTN website a heretical article by the late Fr. William Most. It called the Church Fathers teachings cited by Mother Angelica, as ‘restrictive texts’. It never mentioned that the ‘restrictive texts’ were ex cathedra. He claimed the dogma does not say everyone needs to be a formal, invisible ‘card carrying’ member of the Catholic Church. He then began misinterpreting Vatican Council II to adapt to his heresy.

Fr. Most, Jeffrey Mirus of Catholic Culture  and Patrick Madrid say on EWTN that the dogma does not claim everyone must be a formal, visible member of the Church to go to Heaven and avoid Hell.

Here is part of the dogma which says just that!

it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff.” (Pope Boniface VIII, the Bull Unam Sanctam, 1302.).Ex cathedra.

none of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics and schismatics, can have a share in life eternal; but that they will go into the eternal fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless before death they are joined with Her; and that so important is the unity of this ecclesiastical body that only those remaining within this unity can profit by the sacraments of the Church unto salvation

It's a mortal sin to knowingly give a donation to EWTN.

Here are Fr. William Most's claims:

1) The ex cathedra dogma on salvation does not state everyone needs to be a formal, visible member of the Church to go to Heaven and avoid Hell.

2) He indicates Fr. Leonard Feeney was excommunicated for affirming the rigorist interpretation of the dogma. No text is cited as proof (See at the end of this report  Letter to the Holy Office, Updated Apologetics- extra ecclesiam nulla salus).

3) He believes that this infallible teaching does not teach that God will send millions of people to Hell.

For centuries the Church taught that millions of people are on the path to Hell. Now EWTN gives us a new doctrine, a new interpretation and claims it’s a Catholic teaching.

Extra ecclesiam nulla salus has now been politicised. It is rejected by the leftists-secularists who do not even want any mention of Hell. The Cantate Domino, Council of Florence, ex cathedra, says clearly- that Hell has fire.

So EWTN has to accept extra ecclesiam nulla salus seen by many as an ideological issue similar to abortion and homosexuality. While EWTN opposes abortion and homosexuality, on extra ecclesiam nulla salus, it has the same position as Masons, Communists and those working for the coming of the Anti Christ.

This is grave matter. The subject of mortal sin.

Give your money to Catholic communities who affirm ‘the rigorist interpretation’ of extra ecclesiam nulla salus. For example The Sisters of St. Benedict Centre Worcester, USA, by email: info@sistersofstbenedictcenter.org

Give your money to Catholic communities whose life opposes the lies of EWTN; individuals who want to hold extra ecclesiam nulla salus Conferences.Help start advocacy groups for those Catholics marginalised for affirming the Church's teaching on extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
Remember to deny an ex cathedra dogma is serious. Fr. Tissa Balasuriya OMI was excommunicated by Pope John Paul II.He denied the Immaculate Conception of Our Lady.

So if between ‘your gas and electric bill’ you send money to EWTN you are cooperating with an organization controlled by religious who are in grave sin. You are placing your soul at risk. You will also go to receive the Eucharist at Mass in this condition. Please do not send EWTN money and then at Mass go forward to receive the Eucharist.

For secular organisations, charity includes donations for homosexuality and abortion. This is not the concept of charity for the Catholic Church.

Do not think that since the U.S bishops do not correct EWTN it is truly Catholic. EWTN is supported by U.S bishops who do not think it is a mortal sin, for bishops and priests, to give the Eucharist to pro abortion politicians.

There are also cardinals who believe Jews do not have to convert in the present times. The same message has been expressed by Jewish leaders on a program telecast by EWTN, according to the website of the apologist Robert Sungenis. Sungenis who keeps repeating that the Bible says Jews need to convert is prohibited from appearing on EWTN. It’s been many years now that he has been banned by the EWTN management.

It’s the influential Jewish Left which decides who can appear on EWTN and what can be said or not said by Catholics approved by them.

Apologist Patrick Madrid has been approved. On EWTN Radio I heard him say that evangelisation is important. In answer to a question, he said, everyone needs to enter the Church except for those in invincible ignorance, the baptism of desire etc. This is a contradiction of the ex cathedra dogma and so a heretical statement.

He is implying that he knows of personal cases of people with the baptism of desire or invincible ignorance.Only God knows explicit (visible) cases of the baptism of desire or invincible ignorance. For Madrid it is implicit (hidden). So why does he make a vague statement on EWTN Radio that everyone needs to enter the Church except for those …? It’s irrelevant. Why mention it ? We do not know of  a single case in the present time.So it does not contradict the dogma.

Those saved with implicit-to-us invincible ignorance are known only to God and so it does not contradict Cantate Domino.
Since invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire are not explicit to us it does not contradict Vatican Council II (Ad Gentes 7).

Since the reference to implicit salvation does not contradict the need for explicit entry into the Church for salvation.
It is not contrary to Pope John Paul II’s encyclical Ecclesia di Eucarestia (2003) which indicates that everyone needs the Eucharist in the Catholic Church for salvation.

Patrick Madrid needs to say :

1.There can be people saved who are in invincible ignorance etc and THEY WILL BE KNOWN ONLY TO GOD.
2.While everyone WITH NO EXCEPTION needs to be a formal, visible member of the Catholic Church to got to Heaven avoid Hell.

These two teachings (1and 2) do not have to be contradictory.Patrick Madrid needs to correct himself on EWTN. So why MUST he say it is an exception to the infallible teaching? It's a straw man. It’s a way to change and deny the dogma on EWTN. Patrick Madrid is irrational. Since how can he say everyone needs to enter the Church and yet also say there are people one can know who do not have to enter the church for salvation.Patrick Madrid is irrational. Since how can he say everyone needs to enter the Church and yet also say there are people one can know who do not have to enter the church for salvation ? This ambiguity could result in many people spending all eternity at furnace temperature.

It is contrary to the Principle of Non Contradiction. It is implying that explicitly everyone needs to enter the Church for salvation and explicitly there are people saved with the baptism of desire, invincible ignorance etc.

This is a new doctrine that has been brought into the Catholic Church since the 1950's by Cardinal Cushing and the Jesuits at Boston.

Yet many of these errors are there in EWTN's heretical report Tragic Errors of Leonard Feeney placed on the Internet by Jeffrey Mirus’ Trinity Communications. Mirus, is president of Catholic Culture, another organisation whose staff members should not receive the Eucharist.

Catholics can say that as a concept, a probability known only to God a person can be saved in invincible ignorance, with the baptism of desire or blood. However this is only hypothetical for us and not an actuality now; not a reality that we know of. We do not know of a single case of the baptism of desire in the present times or the last 100 years.

The EWTN report on the Internet is:

1. A rejection of the Vatican Council II, Ad Gentes 7 which states ‘all people’ need Catholic Faith and the baptism of water for salvation.

2. A rejection of the Catechism of the Catholic Church 845 a misrepresentation of CCC 1257, The Necessity of Baptism.

3. It’s a misrepresentation of Lumen Gentium 16, Vatican Council II.

Remember - EWTN’s stand on this issue is the same as that of the Masons. Your donation to EWTN this Christmas means encouraging their false teachings. EWTN is denying the truth. Or, they hide it so that is barely noticeable.

A Catholic does not send money to an organisation that promotes abortion.

A Catholic does not send money to an organisation that denies or changes an ex cathedra dogma.

Don’t commit a mortal sin. The issue is grave matter and you have been informed.

UPDATED APOLOGETICS: EXTRA ECCLESIAM NULLA SALUS

1. LETTER OF THE HOLY OFFICE 1949
In the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 Pope Pius XII said all Jews in Boston are on the way to Hell and they need to convert. He indicated this when he referred to the ‘dogma’, ‘the infallible teaching’.

2. VATICAN COUNCIL II, LUMEN GENTIUM 16
There cannot be an explicit baptism of desire that we know of, neither can we judge cases of explicit invincible ignorance since we cannot read the heart of any person.

LG 16 refers to something implicit, known only as a concept. Probable, possible but not a reality. We do not know explicitly or implicitly (in principle) any case of a good conscience, the baptism of desire or blood or invincible ignorance in the present times or the last 100 years (If the Church declares that someone is a martyr only the Church has the right to judge).

3. FR. LEONARD FEENEY NOT EXCOMMNICATED FOR HERESY
There is no church document which says he was excommunicated for heresy. He was excommunicated for disobedience. Over time it has become clear that it was the Archbishop and Jesuits at Boston who rejected the rigorist interpretation of the ex. cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. The Archbishop Richard Cushing never issued a clarification when the Boston newspapers reported that eh Church has changed its centuries old teaching.

4. INFALLIBLE DOGMAS DO NOT DEVELOP
There is no Church document to support the position that the ex cathedra dogma extra excclesiam nulla salus has been ‘developed’ or ‘changed’ or ‘retracted’. Infallible teachings defined three times do not 'develop'.

5. SALVATION OF CHRISTIANS (NON CATHOLICS)
Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council Ii says all people need Catholic Faith and the baptism of water for salvation. No church document says Christians (non Catholics) religions are the ordinary way to salvation. If a Christian is saved in his religions it will be known to only God. God can provide the helps in this exceptional case, which could include the baptism of water. In Heaven there are only Catholics.

6.HERESY
In the Apostles and Nicene Creed we pray, ‘I believe in one baptism for the forgiveness of sin’ and ‘I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church’. Everyone needs the baptism of water to remove Original sin for salvation. It is the Holy Spirit which guides the Church to teach through the centuries the ‘rigorist interpretation’ of extra ecclesiam nulla salus. To reject the Nicene and Apostles Creed is a first class heresy in the hierarchy of truths. It would also be a rejection of the Athanasius Creed which states outside the church there is no salvation.

7. EUCHARIST
So it is mortal sin to change an ex cathedra dogma or to reject its meaning. It is a first class heresy.A person is automatically excommunicated. He has no right to receive the Eucharist at Mass.Neither can he offer Mass if he is a priest. He first needs to receive absolution in the Confessional and remove the public scandal.

8.SUPERIOR HAS TO BE A CATHOLIC
A Superior ( juridical person according to Canon Law ) has to be a Catholic. So he needs to affirm in public every ex cathedra dogma.Otherwise he cannot hold his office.Neither can one receive the Eucharist in this condition.

Here is the ex cathedra dogma which every Superior according to Canon Law are obligated to affirm and teach others.

No one, let his almsgiving be as great as it may, no one, even if he pour out his blood for the Name of Christ, can be saved, unless he remain within the bosom and the unity of the Catholic Church.” (Pope Eugene IV, the Bull Cantate Domino, 1441.) Ex cathedra – from the website Catholicism.org and “No Salvation outside the Church”: Link List, the Three Dogmatic Statements Regarding EENS
9.THERE ARE TWO INTERPRETATIONS OF VATICAN COUNCIL II

The first is: everyone needs to enter the Catholic Church for salvation (Ad Gentes 7) except for those in invincible ignorance, the baptism of desire etc (LG 16).

The second is: everyone needs to be a visible, formal, ‘card-carrying member’ of the Catholic Church and there are no exceptions (AG 7) and if there was someone in invincible ignorance, the baptism of desire or a good conscience it would be known only to God.

10. BAPTISM OF DESIRE IS NOT OPPOSED TO THE DOGMA
Baptism of desire is usually interpreted as being opposed to the dogma which says that everyone needs to be a visible, formal member of the Church with no exceptions. We can also interpret Vatican Council II as saying that everyone needs to be a visible member of the Church to avoid Hell and if there is anyone with the Baptism of desire or in invincible ignorance it will be known only to God.

There is no Church Document which suggests that baptism of desire, invincible ignorance should be placed in opposition to the need of formal entry into the Catholic Church for everyone with no exception.

11. CCC 1257 (THE NECESSITY OF BAPTISM) AND DE FACTO, DE JURE CONCEPT
The Catechism of the Catholic Church ( CCC 1257 ) refers to de facto salvation in the first part and de jure (in principle) salvation in the second part. Otherwise it would be ludicrous and make no sense.

It means Lumen Gentium 16 (LG 16) could refer to de jure (in principle) salvation.

If LG 16 is de jure then it is not in conflict with Ad Gentes 7, which states ,'all people' need Catholic Faith and the Baptism of water for salvation.LG 16 would be in accord with tradition.

If is not in conflict with AG 7 then it is not in conflict with the ex cathedra dogma which says everyone with no exception needs to de facto enter the Church for salvation and there are no exceptions.

12. SUPPORTERS OF FR.LEONARD FEENEY SAY THERE IS NO BAPTISM OF DESIRE
I could agree with them. It is true in a sense but it has to be clarified. Words could be used with precision.I would say they mean:

1.There is no explicit Baptism of desire (BOD).It cannot be external and seen.
2.There is no implicit baptism of desire (BOD).It cannot be known in principle in a particular time.
3.There is no BOD without the Sacraments.(So there could be a BOD with the Sacrament).
4.There is no explicit BOD without the Sacrament of the Baptism of water.
5.There is no implicit BOD without the Sacrament of the Baptism of water.
6.There is a BOD with the Sacrament of the Baptism of water known to us as a concept and something possible 'in certain circumstances' and known always only to God.

13.CONFUSION ON EXTRA ECCLESIAM NULLA SALUS
Here are some important comparisions on the extra ecclesiam nulla salus confusion.

A. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that there are people who can be saved with the baptism of desire or blood, in invincible ignorance etc. Fine! And they are known only to God. It does not contradict the ex cathedra teaching that every one with no exception needs to enter the Church.

B. The teaching that there can be non Catholic saved in invincible ignorance etc is placed in opposition to the infallible teaching that everyone with no exception needs to enter the Church for salvation.

A. The Catechism states that outside the church there is no salvation means that all salvation comes from God and that whoever is saved is saved through Jesus and the Catholic Church. Fine. This is acceptable to us Catholics.

B. The Catechism states that outside the church there is no salvation means that all salvation comes from God and that whoever is saved , is saved through Jesus and the Church .So there can be people saved who are not formal members of the Church so everyone does not have to enter the church as the infallible teaching says.

A. Pope Pius XII in 1949 in the Letter of the Holy office mentioned 'the dogma' the 'infallible teaching' extra ecclesiam nulla salus. So the dogma is not something from medieval times. Pope Pius XII was saying through the Letter issued by Cardinal Ottaviani that all Jews in Boston and the rest of the world need to convert into the Catholic Church with no exception.

B. They suggest that the dogma is from medieval times.

A. No where in Vatican Council II is this theology presented. There is no text which claims everybody needs to enter the Church except for those in invincible ignorance, the baptism of desire etc. It is an interpretation. Just one interpretation.

B. They claim it is the official teaching of Vatican Council II. It is repeated in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. They cannot cite any text.

A. It is heresy since it rejects an ex cathedra dogma which states everyone needs to enter the Church with no exceptions to avoid Hell (Cantate Domino, Council of Florence.

B. It is not heresy since it is the teaching of Vatican Council II and not just an interpretation, one of two interpretations.

A. There can be only one interpretation of an infallible teaching; the ex cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

B. There is the ‘rigorist interpretation’ and the non rigorist.

A. It is also irrational since how can you say everyone needs to enter the Church and yet there are people one can know who do not have to enter the church for salvation?

B. It is not irrational. It is a ‘mystery’.

A. It is also contrary to the Principle of Non Contradiction. Since it is saying explicitly everyone needs to enter the Church for salvation and explicitly there can be people saved with the baptism of desire, invincible ignorance etc.

B. It is an accepted mystery of the Church.

A. It’s a straw man since explicitly we do not know any case in the present times of someone with the baptism of desire etc. Neither can we implicitly (in principle) know of any such case. The baptism of desire etc is accepted only as a concept a probability, known to God only. It is not an actuality for us, never.

B. The baptism of desire etc is explicit.

A. The Catholic Church has always taught and still teaches that everyone with no exception needs to enter the Church to avoid Hell. That there could be non Catholics saved in invincible ignorance etc does not contradict the infallible, ex cathedra teaching that everyone formally needs to be a Catholic to go to Heaven.

When the Catechism says those who know and yet do not enter it is referring to people, non Catholics, who are definitely going to Hell. This statement was placed in the Catechism to distinguish between those who will be saved in invincible ignorance, the baptism of desire or blood or a good conscience.

Hence they could not be saved who, knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter it or to remain in it.-Catechism of the Catholic Church 846

B. That there could be non Catholics saved in invincible ignorance etc contradicts the infallible, ex cathedra teaching that everyone formally needs to be a Catholic to go to Heaven.

A. Everyone needs to be a visible, formal, ‘card-carrying member’ of the Catholic Church and there are no exceptions (AG 7) and if there was someone in invincible ignorance, the baptism of desire or a good conscience it would be known only to God.

B.The second is: everyone needs to enter the Catholic Church for salvation (Ad Gentes 7) except for those in invincible ignorance, the baptism of desire etc (LG 16).
