Cushingite Franciscan supports the innovation

 

This is a Cushingite Franciscan. At 4.31 on the video he says invincible ignorance is not a new concept.True. But he has interpreted invincible ignorance as referring to known non Catholics saved outside the Church. This is a new concept.In this way there are exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS).

He has interpreted the popes and saints( when they refer to invincible ignorance) as referring to literal cases, known to be saved outside the Church.So the popes and saints become a rupture with traditional EENS, or Feeneyite EENS.

Only in this way does invincible ignorance become an exception to the old concept of outside the Church there is no salvation.

It is only with this innovation that Vatican Council II becomes a rupture with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus as it was interpreted over the centuries.There is also a rupture with the Syllabus of Errors. 

For Cardinal Richard Cushing and the Jesuits of his time hypothetical and invisible cases of being saved in invincible ignorance were exceptions to traditional EENS.

For Fr.Leonard  Feeney and the St.Benedict Center these  were only hypothetical cases and literally there were no such cases personally known.So invincible ignorance, the baptism of desire etc  could not be practical exceptions to traditional EENS.

This is the point this  young Franciscan who is a Cushingite misses out. 

Cushingism is the basis of the New Theology. It creates a hermeneutic of rupture with EENS, Syllabus of Errors, ecumenism of return etc.
Vatican Council II can be interpreted with Cushingism or Feeneyism( according to L.A) and the conclusion will be different.

John Henry Weston interprets all magisterial documents with his New Theology, to create a hermeneutic of rupture with the past

At about 6.36 m. on the video 1 John Henry Weston refers to errors in the faith which need correction. He also says 'the truth of Christ means everything to us .He is the only way to eternal life and outside of Him there is only eternal Hell'.

1.Without him saying outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation his theology is that of Matin Luther.This has been a heresy for centuries but is magisterial for Pope Francis, whose errors are being corrected in this video series.

2.Without saying all need faith and baptism for salvation (AG 7) Protestantism is being promoted.Again this would be an error and heresy shared with the two popes. 

3.Without Weston clarifying that other Christians communities, who believe in Jesus are on the way to Hell, this is heresy. Theologically it is a Christology which denies ecclesiocentrism.Jesus without the necessity of membership in the Catholic Church.

Pope Benedict and Pope Francis like the Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith reject exclusive salvation in the Church.They call it triuphalism.So do the Mssons. This is approved by the Jewish Left rabbis.

But this was the theology of the Catholic Church for centuries right up to the time of St. Maximillian Kolbe in the 1930's.
 
 
 

The Bible tells us the Church is the Mystical Body of Jesus. It tells us all who do not believe in Jesus, within the community, the Early Church, in which the baptism of water was necessary, would be damned ( Mark 16:16).

Weston is calling us to believe in Jesus without the necessity of membership in the community, the Church. The Early Church was the Early Catholic Church, the Early Christians were the Early Catholics.

Dominus Iesus tells us not to separate Jesus from the Church or the Church from the Kingdom( salvation).

LifeSites continues to be politically correct like Bishop Athanasius Schneider and supports heresy which would be approved by the pope being criticized for heresy.

Weston does not want to affirm the Feeneyite interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus ( there are no objective exceptions to EENS) and Vatican Council II( there are no objective exceptions to EENS mentioned in the Council interpreted rationally).Since, this would bring out the truth of the Catholic Faith and it would be controversial for him as editor.

Similarly LifeSiteNews posted many reports on the Abu Dhabi meeting of Pope Francis without mentioning the need for all Muslims to convert into the Catholic Church for salvation.

They also posted Bishop Athanasius Schneider's statement on the Abu Dhabi meeting.He also presented a Christology without the necessity of membership in the Catholic Church.He was supporting a Christian Theology of Religious Pluralism which Pope John Paul II opposed.(CDF, Dupuis, 2001).

Since there was known salvation outside the Church also for Pope Paul VI he rejected the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and permitted mixed marriages. This has been the ruin of numerous  families and souls have been lost.There is no known salvation outside the Church in 2019. So we do not have to limit ourself to a Christology which omits the necessity of membership in the Church with faith and baptism(AG 7, LG 14) for salvation.

Like Bishop Schneider who does not say that all Protestants need to convert into the Catholic Church for salvation John Henry Weston, will be interpreting all magisterial documents with the his New Theology, to create an officially approved by the Vatican, hermeneutic of rupture with the past.-Lionel Andrades
