Trent Horn's possibility known only to God(LG 15) cannot be a practical exception for the dogma EENS according to Brother Peter Dimond of the Most Holy Family Monastery,NY

Trent Horn would say that  Lumen Gentium 15 says that non Catholic Christians have a unity with the Church through baptism and are in an imperfect communion with the Catholic Church and so can be saved. So he would reject the literal and strict interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS). This is also the interpretation of the popes since Paul VI.

Fine. There is no problem. This is acceptable.

Hypothetically yes.As a possibility known only to God.Yes.Speculatively with plenty of goodwill.Yes.LG 15 refers to a theoretical case.

But practically in real life.No. We cannot see or meet any such case.We do not know anyone who is saved in imperfect communion with the Church or will be saved as such in future.

We cannot see someone saved in imperfect communion with the Catholic Church in 2022.So there is no such case which exists in our reality.

A possibility known only to God cannot be a practical exception for the dogma EENS according to Brother Peter Dimond of the Most Holy Family Monastery,NY,USA.
So I would not reject the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus with Lumen Gentium 15. LG 15 does not contradict EENS for me.An invisible case cannot be a visible exception for EENS.
There is nothing in the Council-text of hypothetical cases to contradict EENS according to the missionaries and Magisterium of the 16th century.

However Peter Dimond makes this same mistake in the interpretation of Vatican Council II. For him LG 8,14 and 16, all hypothetical cases are objective exceptions for the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS). So he rejects Vatican Council II.The Council is heretical and schismatic for him.
But for me LG 8,14,15 and 16 refer to speculative and hypothetical cases only.So they do not contradict Peter Dimond's 12 to 16th century interpretation of the dogma EENS. So I do not have to reject Vatican Council II like him. Neither do I have to reject EENS like Trent Horn.- Lionel Andrades
