Pope Francis'interpretation of Vatican Council II is heretical.It is irrational, non Catholic and not part of the Deposit of the Faith. He must choose the rational alternative which has a continuity with Tradition.He could see LG 8, LG 16 etc as referring to hypothetical cases only in 2021

 

Pope Francis'interpretation of Vatican Council II is heretical.It is irrational, non Catholic and not part of the Deposit of the Faith. He must choose the rational alternative which has a continuity with Tradition.He could see LG 8, LG 16 etc as referring to hypothetical cases only in 2021.But if they are hypothetical cases then how can they contradict extra ecclesiam nulla salus according to the Jesuit Fr. Leonard Feeney ?.

So they are not practical exceptions to EENS, the Athanasius Creed and the Syllabus of Errors.

Similarly the baptism of desire(LG 14) and invincible ignorance(LG 16) are not objective cases and so they are not practical exceptions to the traditional strict interpretation of EENS.

For the pope to consider what is invisible as being visible is false. It is a false premise. An inference based upon a false premise will result in a non traditional interpretation of Vatican Council II.

So the 55 year old liberal-traditionalist division is now fading.All are conservative who interpret Vatican Council II without the false premise. The Council is in harmony with the Athanasius Creed and there being exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church.The conservative Catholics  must now continue to support Catholic orthodoxy.
