The Dogmatic Constitution on the Church produced by the Council is entitled Lumen gentium.

In its first chapter, titled "The Mystery of the Church", is the statement that:

... the sole Church of Christ which in the Creed we profess to be one, holy, catholic and apostolic, which our Saviour, after His Resurrection, commissioned Peter to shepherd, and him and the other apostles to extend and direct with authority, which He erected for all ages as 'the pillar and mainstay of the truth.' This Church, constituted and organized as a society in the present world, subsists in the Catholic Church, which is governed by the successor of Peter and by the bishops in communion with him

Lionel: Note, the passage above does not contradict the strict interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS).

The document adds, "Nevertheless, many elements of sanctification and of truth are found outside its visible confines" (Lumen gentium, 8).

 Lionel: Note we do not know of any personal case of a non Catholic saved outside the Church.So this is areference to a hypothetical case. It does not contradict LG 8 or EENS.Neither does LG 14 and LG 16 contradict the strict interpretation of EENS.

In his plan for the new millennium, Novo millennio ineunte, John Paul II said that "all pastoral initiatives must be set in relation to holiness" as the first priority of the Church.

Chris Ferrara is a speaker at another Catholic annual conference without admitting that the books he wrote on Vatican Council II were based upon a false interpretation of the Council. He used the common Cushingite false premise.Without the false premise Vatican Council II supports the strict interpretation of EENS; Feeneyite EENS, which he does not want to affirm in public.

Chris Ferrara is a speaker at another Catholic annual conference without admitting that the books he wrote on Vatican Council II  were based upon a false interpretation of the Council. He used the common Cushingite false premise.Without the false premise Vatican Council II supports the strict interpretation of EENS; Feeneyite EENS, which he does not want to affirm in public.

He interpreted Vatican Council II over the last 50 years with a false premise, may be he did it out of ignorance, but now that he has been informed in so many on line reports and e-mails sent to him he does not comment on the subject.

He can still interpret Vatican Council II without the irrational premise  and the Council will not be a rupture with Feeneyite EENS, the past exclusivist ecclesiology , an ecumenism of return and the Syllabus of Errors.He would also no more be part of the general schism from the Left with popes, on EENS.

He has ignored all these reports since 2012 and goes on as if all is normal. It was the same with Fr. Nicholas Gruner and John Vennari.

Without an apology or clarification Chris Ferrara will speak at the Catholic Identity Conference on Nov.1, 2019.
 Similarly the Lake Garda/Roman Forum meeting  which he attended did not issue a statement on this issue.-Lionel Andrades

There is no text in Vatican Council II which contradicts Feeneyism

Feeneyism is the official teaching of the Catholic Church unless one assumes implicit for us baptism of desire is explicit for us.

According to Feeneyism  every one needs to enter the Catholic Church with 'faith and baptism' and there are no exceptions.

According to Feeneyism  the baptism of desire is not an exception to the traditional interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

According to Cushingism  every one does not need to enter the Catholic Church with faith and baptism  in 2014 and there are exceptions.

According to Cushingism  the baptism of desire is an exception to the traditional interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus. 

According to Feeneyism Lumen Gentium 16 (invincible ignorance) is not an exception to Ad Gentes 7 ( all need faith and baptism)  and the dogma on exclusive salvation. Vatican Council II is not confusing.

According to Cushingism Lumen Gentium 16  is an exception.Vatican Council II contradicts itself.

Feeneyism says there are no exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus, Cushingism says there are exceptions. Cushingism is heresy.

The Society of St.Pius X, Fischer More College and other traditionalists  have been using Cushingism. For liberals Cushingism is the basis for liberalism  and dissent with reference to Vatican Council II.

Vatican Council II  and the Letter of the Holy Office 1949  of Pope Pius XII, in two theological papers of the International Theological Commission, are interpreted according to Cushingism. The ITC papers were approved by Pope Benedict XVI.

Pope Francis expects the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate to accept Vatican Council II according to Cushingism, only then will they be allowed to offer the Traditional Latin Mass in Rome.

The Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate  could end the dead lock by announcing that they interpret Vatican Council II and other magisterial documents  according to Feeneyism. So they affirm Vatican Council II and Tradition ( the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, the Catechism of Pope Pius X, the Syllabus of Errors etc).

Similarly Michael King, the President of Fischer-More College, USA  could announce that they affirm Vatican Council II according to Feeneyism . He can ask Bishop Michael Olson, the bishop of Fort Worth, and the FSSP priests there, to also do the same.

The SSPX could clarify that in a discussion on the subject of the baptism of desire, there could be confusion over invisible for us  baptism of desire and visible to us  baptism of desire and that invisible for us  baptism of desire, is their rational choice.

They also need to point out the factual error on the website of the International Theological Commission. The same error is there on the SSPX website under the subject Feeneyism. The SSPX is critical of Feeneyism since for the SSPX, Feeneyism  refers to the rejection of explicit for us baptism of desire.

Taylor Marshall participates in Catholic Identity Conference with Cushingite heretical identity

 

At the Fischer More College, Taylor Marshall and his wife walked out of a meeting , it was reported.Since they supported Vatican Council II interpreted with a false premise.They did not reject Vatican Council II ( interpreted irrationally).The rest of the faculty rejected the Council.
Instead the Marshalls rejected extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS), the past exclusivist ecclesiology and an ecumenism of return.

Taylor Marshall still does not affirm exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church and interprets Vatican Council II and EENS irrationally. He has not denied this when I recently sent him some of the posts from this blog.

He supports the rubrics of the Latin Mass offered with the new ecclesiology and so do the others at the Catholic Identity Conference and the Roundtable Discussion on the Eve of the Amazon Synod.Marshall is participating in both of them.

He accepts Vatican Council II interpreted with an irrational premise  and rejects EENS interpreted without the irrational premise.EENS too has to be interpreted with an irrational premise for him. He stays politically correct with the Left.It was the same with the FSSP priests and Bishop Olson, when Fr. Nicholas Gruner's presence at the Fischer More College was criticized.

Marchshall is not a Feeneyite on  EENS but a Cushingite.Unknown cases of the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOB) and Invincible ignorance(I.I)bin 2019 are known exceptions to Feeneyite EENS.This is Cushingism.

He is not a Feeneyite on Vatican Council II but Cushingite.Unknown cases of LG 8 etc are known exceptions in 2019 to Feeneyite EENS for him.Since he is a Cushingite on Vatican Council II and EENS he rejects the Athanasius Creed, which says outside the Church there is no salvation. For him outside the Church there is salvation, known salvation.

He also rejects the Syllabus of Errors on ecumenism, exclusive salvation etc.

This is a schism with the popes before Pius XII.

It is first class heresy to reject or change the Creeds.

It is among other things unethical to interpret Vatican Council II with a false premise when this can be avoided.

With all this confusion he will speak at the Catholic Identity Conference and tell us what our Catholic identity is or is not.
