REDEMPTORIST PRIEST SAYS VATICAN COUNCIL II CONTRADICTS THE DOGMA: CANNOT PROVIDE ANY CITATIONS FROM THE COUNCIL

Anti Semitism is a criminal offence in Italy. It covers Catholic religious beliefs.

The Redemptorist priest today morning realized that he could not accept the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus even though he said there is no known case of the baptism of desire or being saved in invincible ignorance or a good conscience. However he wanted to justify his rejection of the dogma but could no longer refer to those saved in invincible ignorance etc. So he suggested that the dogma was contradicted by Vatican Council II.I asked him if he could cite any passage from Vatican Council II which contradicted the dogma. He said he could not remember the citations.

I mentioned that I knew the quotations. Since this is an issue I have discussed with many priests. Lumen Gentium 16 mentions invincible ignorance and being saved with a good conscience but does not state that it is an exception to the dogma or that we could know of these cases personally.

OBJECTIONS
Lumen Gentium 16
We do not know any non Catholic saved in invincible ignorance or a good conscience (Lumen Gentium 16).Neither do we know any one in the present times saved with the baptism of desire, the Word of God, in imperfect communion with the Church (Vatican Council II). We accept in principle the possibility of these persons being saved ‘in certain circumstances’ (Letter of the Holy Office 1949) however we do not know any such explicit case. So it is not an exception to the magisterial teachings quoted above. The Magisterial teaching says every one needs to convert into the Catholic Church for salvation, all need Catholic Faith and the baptism of water to avoid Hell. We know there are no known exceptions on earth. If there is any such case it would be known only to God.
Nostra Aetate
Nostra Aetate, Vatican Council II no where says that non Catholic religions are paths to salvation or that non Catholics are saved in general in their religion. We accept in principle the possibility of a Muslim being saved ‘in certain circumstance’ and know that these cases would be known only to God.
So Nostra Aetate is not a contradiction of Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II which indicates the norm of salvation is Catholic Faith and the baptism of water.
Catechism of the Catholic Church 846
So when the Catechism of the Catholic Church 846 say all those who are saved are saved through Jesus an the Church it does not contradict the Church teaching which says all need to enter the Church with Catholic Faith and the baptism of water. http://eucharistandmission.blogspot.com/2012/01/what-does-catholic-church-tech-about.html#links
It is the political position of the Jewish Left that Vatican Council II has changed Church teaching in general and especially with reference to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. This the teaching of the Jewish Left shadow magisterium of Rabbis Rosen and Segni and of Abraham Foxman of the Jewish Anti Defamation League. Catholic priests and bishops who object to this teaching could be labelled anti Semitic. This is a criminal offence in Italy in which the majority of people are Catholics. -Lionel Andrades

REDEMPTORIST PRIEST SAYS WE DO NOT KNOW ANY CASE OF A PERSON SAVED IN INVINCIBLE IGNORANCE AND THE BAPTISM OF DESIRE

REDEMPTORIST PRIEST SAYS WE DO NOT KNOW ANY CASE OF A PERSON SAVED IN INVINCIBLE IGNORANCE AND THE BAPTISM OF DESIRE

Today morning I spoke with Fr.Giuseppe, an elderly Redemptorist priest in Rome and asked him if we can know of any case of a person saved with the baptism of desire or in invincible ignorance. He answered no.

Then I asked him if he knew  any one in invincible ignorance and who is saved. He did not know any such case, of course.

Then I mentioned the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and other magisterial texts which say everyone needs to enter the Church for salvation. I said there are no exceptions.

He remarked that a person though could be saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire. I agreed with him that in principle we believe that this can be a possibility. I reminded him that he had just said that we do not know of any one saved with the baptism of desire etc. So how could they be exceptions?

Assuming this priest in the Redemptorist Church, where they have day time Eucharistic Adoration, said all Jews, Protestants and Orthodox Christians need to enter the Church for salvation.(See dogma Cantate Domino Council of Florence
http://catholicism.org/category/outside-the-church-there-is-no-salvation ). There could be protests against him by the Rabbi Ricardo Segni in Rome. Members of the ADL and B’nai Brit Italy could be phoning the Vatican offices. If this priest persisted with this official magisterial teaching there would be a campaign against him in the leftist daily newspapers in Italy. It is anti Semitism to be a faithful Catholic. There are hate laws which the Jewish Left can use against the Church.

So they control what is believed by a Catholic and which Church teaching can be  expressed by a priest.

The issue is not just being liberal or traditional it is following the law or giving offence created by the Jewish Left in Europe and abroad.-Lionel Andrades

What does the Catholic Church teach about Islam?

Muslims need to enter the Church for salvation ( to avoid Hell). Their religion is not a path to salvation.(1).They need to enter the only Ark of Salvation (2).Catholic Faith and the  baptism of water are the ordinary mean of salvation. The ordinary means of salvation is not being saved in invincible ignorance (3).Muslims need to convert for salvation.(4).Extra ecclesiam nulla salus.(5).

1.
Above all else, it must be firmly believed that “the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation: the one Christ is the mediator and the way of salvation; he is present to us in his body which is the Church. He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mk 16:16; Jn 3:5), and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men enter through baptism as through a door”. This doctrine must not be set against the universal salvific will of God (cf. 1 Tim 2:4); “it is necessary to keep these two truths together, namely, the real possibility of salvation in Christ for all mankind and the necessity of the Church for this salvation”.-Dominus Iesus 20

2.To reunite all his children, scattered and led astray by sin, the Father willed to call the whole of humanity together into his Son's Church. The Church is the place where humanity must rediscover its unity and salvation. The Church is "the world reconciled." She is that bark which "in the full sail of the Lord's cross, by the breath of the Holy Spirit, navigates safely in this world." According to another image dear to the Church Fathers, she is prefigured by Noah's ark, which alone saves from the flood.-Catechism of the Catholic Chuch 845
3.Therefore, all must be converted to Him, made known by the Church's preaching, and all must be incorporated into Him by baptism and into the Church which is His body. For Christ Himself "by stressing in express language the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mark 16:16; John 3:5), at the same time confirmed the necessity of the Church, into which men enter by baptism, as by a door.-A Gentes 7, Vatican Council II
4.submission to the Catholic Church and to the Sovereign Pontiff is required as necessary for salvation.-Letter of the Holy Office 1949.
5. EXTRA ECCLESIAM NULLA SALUS (EXTRAORDINARY MODE )

• “There is but one universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved.” (Pope Innocent III, Fourth Lateran Council, 1215.)

• “We declare, say, define, and pronounce that it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff.” (Pope Boniface VIII, the Bull Unam Sanctam, 1302.)

• “The most Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that none of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics and schismatics, can have a share in life eternal; but that they will go into the eternal fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless before death they are joined with Her; and that so important is the unity of this ecclesiastical body that only those remaining within this unity can profit by the sacraments of the Church unto salvation, and they alone can receive an eternal recompense for their fasts, their almsgivings, their other works of Christian piety and the duties of a Christian soldier. No one, let his almsgiving be as great as it may, no one, even if he pour out his blood for the Name of Christ, can be saved, unless he remain within the bosom and the unity of the Catholic Church.” (Pope Eugene IV, the Bull Cantate Domino, 1441.) –Catholicism.org http://catholicism.org/category/outside-the-church-there-is-no-salvation

EXTRA ECCLESIAM NULLA SALUS ( ORDINARY MODE )
Pope Boniface I, Epistle 14.1: "It is clear that this Roman Church is to all churches throughout the world as the head is to the members, and that whoever separates himself from it becomes an exile from the Christian religion, since he ceases to belong to its fellowship."

Pope Pelagius II (578-590): "Consider the fact that whoever has not been in the peace and unity of the Church cannot have the Lord… Although given over to flames and fires, they burn, or, thrown to wild beasts, they lay down their lives, there will not be (for them) that crown of faith but the punishment of faithlessness… Such a one can be slain, he cannot be crowned… [If] slain outside the Church, he cannot attain the rewards of the Church" (Denzinger, 469).

Saint Gregory the Great (590-604), Moralia: "Now the holy Church universal proclaims that God cannot be truly worshipped saving within herself, asserting that all they that are without her shall never be saved."

Pope Sylvester II, Profession of Faith, June AD 991: "I believe that in Baptism all sins are forgiven, that one which was committed originally as much as those which are voluntarily committed, and I profess that outside the Catholic Church no one is saved."

Pope Innocent III (1198–1216), Profession of Faith prescribed for the Waldensians: "With our hearts we believe and with our lips we confess but one Church, not that of the heretics, but the Holy Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church, outside which we believe that no one is saved" (Denzinger 792).

Pope Clement VI, Letter Super Quibusdam (to Consolator the Catholicos of Armenia), September 20, 1351: "In the second place, we ask whether you and the Armenians obedient to you believe that no man of the wayfarers outside of the faith of this Church, and outside the obedience of the Pope of Rome, can finally be saved… In the ninth place, if you have believed and do believe that all who have raised themselves against the faith of the Roman Church and have died in final impenitence have been damned and have descended to the eternal punishments of hell."

Pope Leo XII (1823–1829), Encyclical Ubi Primum: "It is impossible for the most true God, who is Truth Itself, the best, the wisest Provider, and rewarder of good men, to approve all sects who profess false teachings which are often inconsistent with one another and contradictory, and to confer eternal rewards on their members. For we have a surer word of the prophet, and in writing to you We speak wisdom among the perfect; not the wisdom of this world but the wisdom of God in a mystery. By it we are taught, and by divine faith we hold, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and that no other name under heaven is given to men except the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth in which we must be saved. This is why we profess that there is no salvation outside the Church… For the Church is the pillar and ground of the truth. With reference to those words Augustine says: 'If any man be outside the Church he will be excluded from the number of sons, and will not have God for Father since he has not the Church for mother.'"

Pope Gregory XVI (1831–1846), Encyclical Summo Jugiter Studio (on mixed marriages), 5-6, May 27, 1832: "You know how zealously Our predecessors taught that very article of faith which these dare to deny, namely the necessity of the Catholic faith and of unity for salvation. The words of that celebrated disciple of the Apostles, martyred Saint Ignatius, in his letter to the Philadelphians are relevant to this matter: 'Be not deceived, my brother; if anyone follows a schismatic, he will not attain the inheritance of the kingdom of God.' Moreover, Saint Augustine and the other African bishops who met in the Council of Cirta in the year 412 explained the same thing at greater length: 'Whoever has separated himself from the Catholic Church, no matter how laudably he lives, will not have eternal life, but has earned the anger of God because of this one crime: that he abandoned his union with Christ' (Epsitle 141). Omitting other appropriate passages which are almost numberless in the writings of the Fathers, We shall praise Saint Gregory the Great, who expressly testifies that this is indeed the teaching of the Catholic Church. He says: 'The holy universal Church teaches that it is not possible to worship God truly except in her and asserts that all who are outside of her will not be saved' (Moral. in Job, 16.5). Official acts of the Church proclaim the same dogma. Thus, in the decree on faith which Innocent III published with the synod of the Lateran IV, these things are written: 'There is one universal Church of the faithful outside of which no one at all is saved.' Finally, the same dogma is expressly mentioned in the profession of faith proposed by the Apostolic See, not only that which all Latin churches use (Creed of the Council of Trent), but also that which the Greek Orthodox Church uses (cf. Gregory XIII, Profession 'Sanctissimus') and that which other Eastern Catholics use (cf. Benedict XIV, Profession 'Nuper ad Nos')… We are so concerned about this serious and well known dogma, which has been attacked with such remarkable audacity, that We could not restrain Our pen from reinforcing this truth with many testimonies."

Pope Pius IX (1846–1878), Allocution Singulari Quadem, December 9, 1854: "Not without sorrow we have learned that another error, no less destructive, has taken possession of some parts of the Catholic world, and has taken up its abode in the souls of many Catholics who think that one should have good hope of the eternal salvation of all those who have never lived in the true Church of Christ. Therefore, they are wont to ask very often what will be the lot and condition of those who have not submitted in any way to the Catholic faith, and, by bringing forward most vain reasons, they make a response favorable to their false opinion. Far be it from Us, Venerable Brethren, to presume on the limits of the divine mercy which is infinite; far from Us, to wish to scrutinize the hidden counsel and "judgements of God" which are "a great abyss" (Ps. 35.7) and cannot be penetrated by human thought. But, as is Our Apostolic Duty, we wish your episcopal solicitude and vigilance to be aroused, so that you will strive as much as you can to drive form the mind of men that impious and equally fatal opinion, namely, that the way of eternal salvation can be found in any religion whatsoever. May you demonstrate with skill and learning in which you excel, to the people entrusted to your care that the dogmas of the Catholic faith are in no wise opposed to divine mercy and justice.

"For, it must be held by faith that outside the Apostolic Roman Church, no one can be saved; that this is the only ark of salvation; that he who shall not have entered therein will perish in the flood…

Pope Pius IX (1846–1878), Encyclical Singulari Quidem March 17, 1856): "Teach that just as there is only one God, one Christ, one Holy Spirit, so there is also only one truth which is divinely revealed. There is only one divine faith which is the beginning of salvation for mankind and the basis of all justification, the faith by which the just person lives and without which it is impossible to please God and come to the community of His children (Romans 1; Hebrews 11; Council of Trent, Session 6, Chapter 8). There is only one true, holy, Catholic Church, which is the Apostolic Roman Church. There is only one See founded on Peter by the word of the Lord (St. Cyprian, Epistle 43), outside of which we cannot find either true faith or eternal salvation. He who does not have the Church for a mother cannot have God for a father, and whoever abandons the See of Peter on which the Church is established trusts falsely that he is in the Church (ibid, On the Unity of the Catholic Church). ... Outside of the Church, nobody can hope for life or salvation unless he is excused through ignorance beyond his control."[7]

Pope Pius IX (1846–1878), Encyclical Quanto conficiamur moerore, August 10, 1863: "And here, beloved Sons and Venerable Brothers, We should mention again and censure a very grave error in which some Catholics are unhappily engaged, who believe that men living in error, and separated from the true faith and from Catholic unity, can attain eternal life. Indeed, this is certainly quite contrary to Catholic teaching.

Pope Pius IX The Syllabus of Errors, attached to Encyclical Quanta Cura, 1864: [The following are prescribed errors:] "16. Men can, in the cult of any religion, find the way of eternal salvation and attain eternal salvation. - Encyclical Qui pluribus, November 9, 1846.

"17. One ought to at least have good hope for the eternal salvation of all those who in no way dwell in the true Church of Christ. - Encyclical Quanto conficiamur moerore, August 10, 1863, etc."

Pope St. Pius X (1903–1914), Encyclical Jucunda Sane: "It is our duty to recall to everyone great and small, as the Holy Pontiff Gregory did in ages past, the absolute necessity which is ours, to have recourse to this Church to effect our eternal salvation."

Pope Benedict XV (1914–1922), Encyclical Ad Beatissimi Apostolorum: "Such is the nature of the Catholic faith that it does not admit of more or less, but must be held as a whole, or as a whole rejected: This is the Catholic faith, which unless a man believe faithfully and firmly, he cannot be saved."

Pope Pius XI (1922–1939), Encyclical Mortalium Animos: "The Catholic Church alone is keeping the true worship. This is the font of truth, this is the house of faith, this is the temple of God; if any man enter not here, or if any man go forth from it, he is a stranger to the hope of life and salvation… Furthermore, in this one Church of Christ, no man can be or remain who does not accept, recognize and obey the authority and supremacy of Peter and his legitimate successors."

Pope Pius XII (1939–1958), Allocution to the Gregorian University (17 October 1953): "By divine mandate the interpreter and guardian of the Scriptures, and the depository of Sacred Tradition living within her, the Church alone is the entrance to salvation: She alone, by herself, and under the protection and guidance of the Holy Spirit, is the source of truth."

TALMUDIC JEWS HAVE A BLASPHEMOUS OPERA IN ITALY

Oppression of Catholics continue

Popes and saints have opposed attacks of the Talmudic Jews on the Catholic Church. Today the evil seems unopposed. The Talmud which blasphemes Jesus and Our Lady is being translated into Italian by the Italian Ministry of education. Rabbi Ricardo Segni, the chief leftist Rabbi in Rome, is on the committee overseeing the translation. From January 24 to 28 at the theatre Parenti in Milan a blasphemous opera was held. It  had the support of the Jewish Left media. The opera Sul concetto di volto nel figlio di Dio, Romeo Castellucci does not come under hate laws created by the Jewish Left, the ADL etc. The staging of this  opera in Milan known for its blasphemous scenes when staged abroad, is part of the religion of the Talmudic Jews. The director of the Parenti theatre it is reported, is a Jew, Ruth Shammah.

Blasphemy is part of the beliefs of members of the Bnai Brit, Italy who have threatened Catholic academics and universities with criminal charges, for only affirming Catholic teaching. They object to the Catholic teaching  which says Judaism and other religions are not paths to go to Heaven and that Jews need to convert into the Catholic Church to avoid Hell; for salvation. (Dominus Iesus 20, CDF, Notification on Fr. Jacques Dupuis S.j etc). The Rabbis visited the Urbaniana Pontifical University in Rome.

The Jewish Left values and the opera in Milan represent Satan and were not criticized by the Jewish Left.

The opera in Milan against the belief in God with its accompanying blasphemy, in the arts and media, is a part of Talmudic Judaism, the religion of the Freemasons and the Jewish Left. It is the religion of those who choose to serve Satan instead of God.

Those who oppose the Talmudic Jews, the Satanists, Freemasons and the Kabbalists are threatened with anti Semite laws.It is anti Semitic to be a Catholic.

Jesus called a type of Jews, children of the devil and  ‘snakes and vipers’.He spoke about  the ‘synagogue of Satan’.

The owner of the adult film industry in the USA is a Jew and also blasphemes against Jesus it is reported on the internet.Recently there was a Catholic Jewish Left Day of Reflection in Rome. Maintaining dialogue and ‘having good relations with the Jews’ means not being victimized by the political and military threat of Israel and the Jewish Left.  In exchange, the Catholic Church has to change its teaching in ecumenism (no ecumenism of return) and Judaism and other religions (they do not have to convert and all religions are equal).Restrictions are placed on the Catholic Traditional Latin Mass which is vehemently opposed in the leftist mainstream media in Italy.

The price of ‘good relations’ is the creating of a culture with blasphemy, atheism and hate enforced with legal blackmail and extortion, against the followers of Jesus Christ, whom Satan hates.

The anti Semitism threat is being used against Catholic bishops to make them announce that those who are faithful to Jesus and His Church are not Catholics. Catholics are being asked by the Jewish Left not to use the word ‘Catholic’. Satan is a liar and his actions are covert.

Those Catholics who rebel could be ruined financially. So Catholics do not want to talk about this issue in public. They just mention the ‘liberals’ and not the Jewish Left threat to ‘liberal Catholics’ to remain liberal.

I was studying at a Pontifical University and seminary in Rome but could not  continue my studies since they have to protect themself from Jewish Left laws. The faculty was being opposed by ‘outsiders’ because of my official Catholic views. My Spiritual Director was being telephoned and finally he asked me to search for a new Spiritual Director. This priest himself would have to leave the seminary.

Pontifical universities in Rome welcome students with liberal views, freethinkers and New Agers, those opposed to Church teachings. Those who hold the Catholic teachings are threatened and expelled. This is done often with the approval of the Vatican including the former Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. The cardinals and bishops want to maintain 'goof relations'  with the Jewish Left and their Catholic supporters like Andrea Riccardi and the St. Egidio organization.

Prayers of Reparation were held on January 23 by the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate Benevento and Il Camino dei Tre Sentieri. Protests were held outside the theatre by Catholic political organizations Nuova Forza, Militia Christi and others.-Lionel Andrades

CATHOLIC DIOCESES OF WORCESTER, LOS ANGELES: THE BAPTISM OF DESIRE IS NOT AN EXCEPTION TO THE DOGMA OUTSIDE THE CHURCH NO SALVATION

A member of the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Los Angeles, California is reported as saying that they have not asked for canonical status in Los Angeles since they do not want to deny the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. The Sisters of the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Worcester it is said have been granted canonical status since they agreed to accept the teaching outside the Catholic Church No Salvation not as a dogma. They also agreed it is alleged to hold their interpretation of the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance.

General confusion still exists since bishops assume that the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance are exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

They are not exceptions since they are known only to God. So in this sense they are irrelevant to the dogma. They could only be exceptions if they were explicitly known.

According to Peter Vere canonist all the communities of Fr.Leonard Feeney in Worcester uphold the understanding of the dogma as did Fr.Leonard Feeney i.e every one needs to enter the Catholic Church with Catholic Faith and the baptism of water for salvation (Ad Gentes 7). http://www.catholicism.org/downloads/Peter_Vere_SBC.pdf

There are no known exceptions of the baptism of desire or invincible ignorance. They do not deny the baptism of desire which they accept is possible under certain conditions and is always known only to God.

Invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire being exceptions to the dogma is not part of the Deposit of the Faith. This theory originated in the 1940’s with the Archbishop of Boston Richard Cushing.

The dioceses of Worcester and Los Angeles could clarify, the obvious, for all Catholics, that there is no case of the baptism of desire and invincible ignorance known to us and so they are not  relevant to the issue of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

Also other Catholic religious communities in the dioceses could be free to uphold the centuries old interpretation of the dogma which Pope Pius XII called 'the infallible teaching'  (Letter of the Holy Office 1949) and accept, in principle, that the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance etc is  known only to God.-Lionel Andrades

ANTI SEMITIC TO BE A CATHOLIC

When someone asks me: The Catholic Church teaches that Judaism is a path to salvation? I answer No. It is not a path to salvation (CDF, Notification on Fr. Jacques Dupuis S.J).

If I am asked: Jews and members of other religions need to enter the Catholic Church for salvation and there are no exceptions? I would answer yes. (Dominus Iesus 20 etc)

This is my Catholic Faith and I am not ashamed to say it.

If someone claims that I am anti-Semitic or threatens me with anti-Semitism laws I would respond that this is my Catholic Faith. This has been the teaching of the Catholic Church before and after Vatican Council II.

If they declare me an anti-Semite I would say that I am just following the teachings of the Church if someone creates a law which says this teaching is anti Semitism them so be it. I am just being a good Catholic.

Those who deny this teaching commit a mortal sin and if one dies with a mortal sin without going for Confession the soul is lost. In this case we have Catholics not affirming the Church teaching on other religions. They are denying the faith in public, on the internet.

Also to suggest that Lumen Gentium 16 refers to cases of invincible ignorance that we know of and so it is a de facto exception to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus is a denial of the dogma. . In other words it is also an exception to the Nicene Creed in which we pray: “I believe in one baptism for the forgiveness of sin”. LG 16 is an exception to the Creed?

I may not be a scholar with degrees in Scripture and theology like Robert Sungenis and Scott Hahn however I do know:

1. There is no particular case of the baptism of desire that we know of in the present time. Neither do we know of any case of a non Catholic saved in invincible ignorance (LG 16).

2. The dogma outside the church there is no salvation says every one needs to convert into the Church to avoid the pains of Hell.

3. There is no Church document which says invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire contradict the dogma. So it does not contradict Vatican Council II (AG 7, LG 14) which says all need to enter the Church with Catholic Faith and the baptism of water.

I could explain this to a young First Communicant who would understand these three points since he would not be conditioned by an education in a Pontifical University or seminary.

CAN EXISTING RELIGIOUS COMMUNITIES IN CALIFORNIA AFFIRM THE DOGMA EXTRA ECCLESIAM NULLA SALUS AND ALSO ACCEPT IN PRINCIPLE THE BAPTISM OF DESIRE AND BEING SAVED IN INVINCIBLE IGNORANCE ?

Will a religious community which already has canonical status in California be accepted if they say:

1) They affirm the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. http://catholicism.org/category/outside-the-church-there-is-no-salvation

2) They accept in principle that a person can be saved with the baptism of desire and in invincible ignorance and these cases would be known only to God.

For instance a Franciscan or Jesuit community could  affirm Vatican Council II, the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and being saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire. Could this community also  accept vocations who have similar views?

Religious communities should be free to affirm the Catholic Faith.

CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF SAN BERNARDINO CALIFORNIA: WHY DOES THE CHURCH EXPECT PRIESTS, NUNS AND DEACONS TO ASSUME THE BAPTISM OF DESIRE IS AN EXCEPTION TO THE DOGMA OUTSIDE THE CHURCH NO SALVATION?

WHY DOES THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IN CALIFORNIA EXPECT FR.LEONARD FEENEY’S COMMUNITY TO ASSUME THAT THE BAPTISM OF DESIRE IS AN EXCEPTION TO THE DOGMA OUTSIDE THE CHURCH NO SALVATION?

APPEAL TO THE ARCHBISHOP OF LOS ANGELES THE MOST REVEREND JOSE H.GOMEZ

CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF SAN BERNARDINO CALIFORNIA: WHY DOES THE CHURCH EXPECT PRIESTS, NUNS AND DEACONS TO ASSUME THE BAPTISM OF DESIRE IS AN EXCEPTION TO THE DOGMA OUTSIDE THE CHURCH NO SALVATION?

Does Theresa D. Montminy, Chancellor, Diocese of San Bernardino  as a Catholic affirm the ‘rigorist interpretation’ of the dogma and also the possibility of persons being saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire, since these cases are known only to God?

I have received an e-mail reply from the Catholic Diocese of San Bernardino, California. It’s in response to the post (1) which I sent to a quite a few people working in the diocese. Sister Elaine Ubelhor, OBL. OSB (2) has responded suggesting that my e-mail was not applicable to them but to the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

I had already sent it to the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and have received no reply.

This is a general Catholic issue and applies also to the Diocese of San Bernardino in California.

The Deacons in San Bernardino know that there is no known case of a person saved with the baptism of desire or in invincible ignorance. Since we do not know any explicit case, Deacon Ed Clark, Director, Permanent Diaconate, San Bernardino,(3) could agree, that the baptism of desire and invincible ignorance are not exceptions to the dogma.

For it to be an exception to the centuries old interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus it would have to be known to the deacons, priests and Sr. Elaine Ubelhor at San Bernardino.

Deacon F. Michael Jelley, Department Director and Vice Chancellor, Ecclesial Services in the diocese would know that neither does Vatican Council II state that we explicitly know these cases or that they are an exception to the dogma. The Church has not retracted this dogma defined three times.

Maria G. Covarrubias, Director, Catechetical Ministry Office, San Bernardino Catholic Church (5) could clarify if the Catechism of the Catholic Church refers to explicitly known baptism of desire and invincible ignorance.

Would Sr. Sarah Shrewsbury, Director of the Vocations Office in the diocese of San Bernardino (6) expect candidates with a religious vocation to say there are visible cases of baptism of desire and it is possible to know non Catholics in the present time saved in invincible ignorance or with a good conscience?

Does Theresa D. Montminy, Chancellor, Diocese of San Bernardino (7) as a Catholic affirm the ‘rigorist interpretation’ of the dogma and also the possibility of persons being saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire, since these cases are known only to God?

Would a community of Fr. Leonard Feeney like the one in Los Angeles, who affirm the centuries old interpretation of the dogma, that of the saints and Church Fathers, and who also accept the baptism of desire in principle, be accepted in San Bernardino by Bishop Gerald R. Barnes?

WHY DOES THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IN CALIFORNIA EXPECT FR.LEONARD FEENEY’S COMMUNITY TO ASSUME THAT THE BAPTISM OF DESIRE IS AN EXCEPTION TO THE DOGMA OUTSIDE THE CHURCH NO SALVATION?

Can the Deacons in Los Angeles affirm the dogma like Fr.Leonard Feeney and also maintain that there is no case of the baptism of desire that we know of and, the baptism of desire is not an exception to the dogma ?

There is no known case known to us of a person saved with the baptism of desire or in invincible ignorance. So since we do not know any such explicit case how can they be exceptions to the dogma outside the church no salvation.

For it to be an exception to the centuries-old interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus we would personally have to know these ‘exceptions’ on earth.

Vatican Council II does not state that we know these cases of persons saved in invincible ignorance (LG 16) and the baptism of desire. Neither does Vatican Council II or the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 state that these cases are exceptions to the dogma Cantate Domino, Council of Florence etc.

The Catholic Church has not retracted this thrice defined dogma which says all need to convert into the Catholic Church to avoid Hell. It does not mention invincible ignorance or the baptism of desire as exceptions.

It’s the Jewish Left owned media which assumes that those saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire are known-exceptions which contradict the dogma. The media also supported the Archbishop of Boston, Cardinal Richard Cushing’s new theory, of those saved with the baptism of desire and in invincible ignorance being exceptions to the dogma. So he assumed that there was salvation outside the Catholic Church. Catholics just took all this for granted without really thinking on this issue: how could cases we do not know be known exceptions to the dogma? How could the Church suddenly change its teachings? How could the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 contradict itself affirming the dogma and also the possibility of being saved with the baptism of desire ? How could Vatican Council II say all need Catholic Faith and the baptism of water for salvation( AG 7) and also there can be non Catholics saved in invincible ignorance (LG 16) ?

Jewish Left Rabbis, supported by Jewish political and economic power, have been telling Catholic bishops in California to end Church mission to the Jews. The bishops have publicly agreed with them. Their media still causes confusion on this issue and Catholics assume that it is the teaching of the Church. The bishops do not issue a clarification so as not to offend important people. Catholics are left in confusion.

Why cannot one of the religious communities in California, USA who have received canonical status, unlike Fr. Leonard Feeney’s community, affirm the ‘rigorist interpretation’ of the dogma and also accept the possibility of people being saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire, since these cases are known only to God ?

Why cannot the religious order priests and nuns also affirm the dogma as it was interpreted for centuries and also affirm the possibility of non Catholics being saved in invincible ignorance, the seeds of the Word (Vatican Council II), a good conscience, in partial communion with the Church etc ?

Can the Deacons in Los Angeles affirm the dogma like Fr.Leonard Feeney and also maintain that there is no case of the baptism of desire that we know of ? Can the Deacons say the baptism of desire is not an exception to the dogma ?

Does a candidate with a religious vocation to the Archdiocese of Los Angeles have to beleive that the baptism of desire is visible to us and so an exception to the dogma ? Is this a vocational requirement ?

TRADITIONAL CATHOLIC ORGANISATIONS BEING MONITORED IN ROME

Yesterday was the third time I noticed it. Plainclothes policemen at Holy Mass in Rome. Traditional Catholic organisations seem under their surveillance. Once a security police official identified himself to another person in my presence.

A few years back politicians Silvio Berlusconi, former Prime Minister of Italy, Gianfranco Fini, his Interior Minister and the Foreign Minister Franco Frattini welcomed Abraham Foxman of the Jewish Anti Defamation League. According to the ADL website Gianfranco Fini presented him with an award. They also agreed to implement the ADL anti Semitism laws in Italy. Those laws are now being enforced and are being used to control religious expression and to change Catholic teaching in Italy. There is a constant threat to Catholics.

A priest who offers the Traditional Latin Mass in Rome told me even though there is no case of the baptism of desire known to us, he would not affirm the traditional teaching of Fr. Leonard Feeney. He will not say in public that the Catholic Church officially teaches, in magisterial texts that Judaism, or other religions, is not a path to salvation and that Jews need  to convert into the Church to avoid Hell. This priest is no  dissenter. He is aware of the Jewish Left lobby in Italy. There could be anti Semitism or other leftist laws used against him. He could be transferred or suspended by the Vatican hierarchy. The Vatican and the Rome Vicariate also protects itself.

The ADL works with law enforcing agencies in Europe and the USA to enforce anti Semitism laws. Holocaust denial is only a part of these laws which are being misused similar to the Blasphemy Law in Muslim countries. The daily newspaper of the Conference of the Catholic Bishops of Italy, Avvenire has criticized the misuse of the blasphemy laws.Never have I read a criticism of the anti  Semitism law. Avvenire is protecting itself. Now the Traditional Latin Mass is being monitored.

The Good Friday Prayer for the  Conversion of the Jews prayed at the Traditional Latin Mass is no more there in its original form. It was considered anti Semitic by the Jewish Left lobby. The pope assured the Chief Rabbinate of Israel and their supporters that Jews do not have to convert in the present times . This is contrary to the Bible. He made the statement to avoid the threat of violence. Catholic politicians were silent, that is, if they knew what was happening.

Also in the Bishop Richard Williamson case the pope averted threats to the Vatican under anti Semitism laws. Bishop Richard Williamson could not be accepted as a Catholic bishop even though he has violated no church law  except those created by the Jewish Left.In future  they can create new laws saying the Bible and Jesus are anti Semitic.

Catholic apologists all over the world, like the pope and his Curia are changing Church teaching on the Jews to protect themselves from anti Semitism charges. Other apologists are targeted by their bishops, when they say that the church teaches that Judaism is not a path to salvation and that Jews need to convert into the Church to avoid Hell. American apologists Robert Sungenis and Michael Voris were told by their bishops not to use the word Catholic.

The Archdiocese of Detroit USA mentioned that there was a long feud with Michael Voris before he was asked to remove the name Catholic from Real Catholic TV.com. The issue was the Jewish Left which the archdiocese does not mention. Similarly Bishop Kevin Rhoades, the former bishop of Harrisburg, Pennsylavia, USA asked apologist Robert Sungenis to remove the name Catholic from his website Catholic Apologetics International. The issue was the Jews and the threat came form the Jewish Left. Bishop Kevin Rhoades until today cannot say in public that Judaism is not a path to salvation and that Jews need to convert to avoid Hell.

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Doctrinal Committee stated that dialogue could include mission. The Jewish Left protested. The USCCB deleted the reference to mission.

The Bible says Jews need to convert for salvation and these bishops are not affirming this teaching out of fear of the influential Jewish Left. Bishop Allen Vigneon, bishop of the Archdiocese of Detroit and Bishop Kevin Rhoades,Bishop of Forth Wayne South Bend, Indiana are not able to proclaim a Biblical teaching and are correcting Voris and Sungenis who have been affirming same teaching.

Bishop Richard Williamson has said in public that Jesus need to convert for salvation. The National Catholic Reporter criticized Bishop Williamson just as they have criticized Real Catholic TV. They will not mention that the issue between Real Catholic TV.com with the Archdiocese of Detroit is, the Jews.

If the Jewish Left in the USA filed an anti Semitic charge against Voris and Sungenis for their Biblical view, the bishops could disown them and protect themself.

The Catholic organisation which is monitored in Rome is publicly critical of Freemasonry in the Jewish Left. They hold the Biblical teaching on Jews. Probably at some time in the future there could be restrictions placed on them by the Italian police.

APPEAL TO THE ARCHBISHOP OF LOS ANGELES THE MOST REVEREND JOSE H.GOMEZ

The Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Los Angeles are mentioned on the website of the Sisters of St. Benedict Center,Worcester one of the communities who have canonical status. Little is known about the community in Los Angeles.

I sympathise with them since being saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire are not exceptions to the dogma, and neither are they even an issue relative to the dogma and this may not be known to their bishop. This error was the creation of the Archbishop of Boston and the Jesuits who also inserted it in Vatican Council II.

So I can understand the difficulty of the brothers in Los Angeles.

I wish I could place an appeal in one of the LA newspapers to get the attention of Archbishop Jose H.Gomez, the Archbishop of Los Angeles.

                                          APPEAL

To

The Most Reverend José H. Gomez
Archbishop of Los Angeles,
Office of the Archbishop of Los Angeles,
3424 Wilshire Boulevard, 5th Floor
Los Angeles, CA 90010-2241 USA

Dear Archbishop Jose Gomez,

Praised be Jesus and Our Lady.

I wish to call your attention to an unpleasant misunderstanding in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

I am told that there is a community of Fr.Leonard Feeney in the archdiocese and the general misconception about them is that they reject the baptism of desire and the possibility of non Catholics being saved in invincible ignorance, since it is believed that this would contradict the ‘rigorist interpretation’ of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

Common sense tells us that the baptism of desire and invincible ignorance are irrelevant to the dogma and magisterial teachings on this issue.(CCC 845, Dominus Iesus 20).

This issue has relevance since the Archbishop of Boston Cardinal Richard Cushing assumed that there was salvation outside the church and that those saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire are explicitly known to us.

There is no magisterial text which claims that Fr. Leonard Feeney was excommunicated for disobedience. The excommunication was lifted by the Church without him having to recant or make changes in his writings.

Could you please clarify, something obvious and generally known, that there is no case of the baptism of desire or invincible ignorance known to us in the present time. So it cannot be an exception to the teaching outside the church there is no salvation.

We accept Lumen Gentium 16 ( invincible ignorance) but know there is no case known to us in the present times of someone saved in invincible ignorance or with a good conscience.

We accept that all who are saved, are saved through Jesus and the Church (CCC 846) and this does not contradict the centruries old interpretation of the dogma which the secular media calls the ‘rigorist interpretation’.This was the interpretation of the popes, Church  Councils, saints and Fr.Leonard Feeney and it is not contradicted by VaticanCouncil II or any magisterial text.

In Christ

Signed.

The issue is also the Eucharist in the diocese of Fort Wayne South Bend, Indiana, USA

A comment on a website says the bishop canonically has the right to ask Real Catholic TV.com to remove the name Catholic.

The issue is also the Eucharist in the diocese of Fort Wayne South Bend, Indiana, USA.Does the bishop have the right to offer Holy Mass according to Canon Law? Is the Mass he offers a public sin?

In the Nicene Creed we pray: “I believe in one baptism for the forgiveness of sin”. The baptism of water is needed to remove Original Sin. The baptism of water is given to adults with Catholic Faith.

The bishop at Fort Wayne South Bend cannot say in public that Judaism is not a path to salvation and that Jews need to convert into the Catholic Church to avoid Hell (for salvation).

He is denying the Nicene Creed and the Athanasius Creed. He is also not affirming the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and is putting aside Dominus Iesus and other magisterial texts including Vatican Council II (AG 7,LG 14).This is public manifest heresy, of the first class, it entails the Creed.

In this sin the bishop has the right to offer Holy Mass and canonically call himself a ‘Catholic’ ?

St. Teresa of Avila saw Jesus in pain when a priest in mortal sin held the Eucharist at Holy Mass. St. Faustina Kowalski saw Jesus in pain when a lady in mortal sin received the Eucharist at Holy Mass.

The issue is the Eucharist. Canon Law does not permit the bishop to offer Holy Mass or receive the Eucharist.

I am just a layman. I am not judging him. I am just pointing out to what the Church teaches. The teaching of the Church is the same for priests, bishops, cardinals and the pope. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available for all.

I had written to the bishop and the issue is now all over the internet. It is up to him to affirm the Catholic Faith as a bishop. He can answer the four questions asked of him.

1. Bishop Kevin Rhoades is denying an ex cathedra dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (Outside the Church No Salvation). http://catholicism.org/category/outside-the-church-there-is-no-salvation

2. He is refusing to say that Judaism and other religions are not paths to salvation.

3. He is refusing to say that Jews need to convert into the Catholic Church for salvation (to avoid Hell).

4. The Bishop in Indiana is assuming that those saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire are defacto known to us in the present times, since he considers them exceptions to the dogma and other magisterial teachings. Are these cases explicitly known to us ?

5. Bishop Kevin Rhoades is assuming that there is some magisterial text which claims that those saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire are defacto exceptions to the dogma outside the church there is no salvation. Some magisterial text says these cases are exceptions to the dogma ?

Are not prayers of reparation needed here?
