So the teaching on the Social Reign of Christ the King is very much alive today when Vatican Council II is interpreted with Feeneyism as a philosophy and theology.

The Old Curmudgeon

Comment on the blog Musings of an Old Curmedgeon, Catholic Integralism and the Social Kingship of Christ
There can be two interpretations of Vatican Council II. There is Vatican Council II which is a rupture with Tradition or one which is a continuity with Tradition. There is Vatican Council II interpreted with a false premise or the one without the false premise. There is Vatican Council II which I call, Feeneyite or the common interpretation which I call Cushingite. There is a Vatican Council II in harmony with the traditional interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus in the 16th century, or a Vatican Council II which is a rupture with the Magisterium in the 16th century. There is Vatican Council II interpreted according to Cardinal Luiz Ladaria S.j or the traditional and rational one by Cardinal Raymond Burke. So there is a Vatican Council II which rejects the Social Reign of Christ the King over all political legislation and one which supports it.
With Vatican Council II (Feeneyite) there is no use of a false premise and so the Council is in harmony with Feeneyite EENS. Feeneyite EENS is the basis for the old exclusivist ecclesiology of the Catholic Church. Upon this exclusivist ecclesiology depended an ecumenism of return and the proclamation of the Social Reign of Christ the King over all political legislation, with the non separation of Church and State. Upon Vatican Council II( Feeneyite) and EENS( Feeneyite) we can still have traditional Mission knowing that all non Catholics, with no known exceptions, are oriented to Hell unless they enter the Catholic Church with faith and baptism(Ad Gentes 7). Vatican Council II ( Feeneyite) also tells us that most people are in Hell since they have died without faith and baptism in the Catholic Church. The ordinary way of salvation is faith and baptism (AG 7) and not invincible ignorance(LG 16), the baptism of desire (LG 14 etc).
So the teaching on the Social Reign of Christ the King is very much alive today when Vatican Council II is interpreted with Feeneyism as a philosophy and theology.

Ludwig Ott's Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma is Cushingite, it overlooks an irrationality in the Letter of the Holy Office 1949.Bishop Athanasius Schneider and Prof Robert Fastiggi also use the false premise to interpret BOD, BOB and I.I and Magisterial documents to create a schism with the past popes

Luwig Ott's Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma uses Cushingite philosophy and theology. So it assumes that unknown cases of the baptism of desire, baptism of blood and being saved in invincible ignorance are known exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS), as it was known to the popes and saints of the past.
For the Magisterium in the 16th century, EENS was Feeneyite and not Cushingite, since BOD, BOB and I.l were Feeneyite and not Cushingite.
So this is a theological and doctrinal flaw in Ott's Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma and it,like the Arian heresy of the past,  has spread throughout the Catholic Church today.
It is also with Cushingism that Bishop Athanasius Schneider and Prof. Robert Fastiggi interpret Vatican Council II and EENS.
Prof. Fastiggi is critical of Fr. Leonard Feeney. But Fr.Feeney did not say that he could see invisible people on earth, he refused to say that people in Heaven were objective exceptions on earth to the traditional interpretation of EENS. He did  not interpret BOD,BOB and I.I with Cushingism, like Prof. Fastiggi, Ralph Martin and Phillip Blosser and the rest of the faculty at the Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, USA.
In 1949 the Holy Office made a mistake when it assumed invisible cases of BOD, BOB and I.I were visible exceptions to Feeneyite EENS. It also created a schism with the past popes. The Cushingite error was repeated in Vatican Council II by Council Fathers and Cardinal Ratzinger upheld the mistake in the Catechism of the Catholic Church (1994), Redemptoris Missio, Dominus Iesus, Balamand Declaration, Code of Canon Law (1983) and two theological papers of the International Theological Commission. It was a direct attack on the dogma EENS with the use of an irrational premise to create a non traditional conclusion.
Ott's Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma is used in religions formation by Catholic traditionalists and liberals.
Like the apologists John Hardon, Monsgr. Joseph Clifford Fenton and Fr. William Most, Ott did not know that BOD, BOB and I.I were being interpreted by the liberal theologians as a rupture with Tradition. They did this by confusing what is invisible as visible, implicit as explicit and hypothetical as being defacto and objective known in the present times. So their narrative was that Mystici Corporis, Quanta Cura and the Catechisms of Pius X and Trent contradicted Feeneyite EENS when BOD, BOB and I.I were mentioned. But this was false. Since BOD, BOB and I.I can only be hypothetical. This is a given. This was how St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Augustine understood it.
Fr.John Hardon used this flawed reasoning also in the interpretation of the Catechism of the Catholic Church(1994)  and Vatican Council II.
For me, the Catechism(1994) and Vatican Council II can be interpreted with Feeneyism, that is , without the false premise. So the conclusion is not a rupture with Tradition.

From Rorate Caeili
A few weeks ago Baronius Press released what it describes as a new edition of Ludwig Ott's Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma. Although based on the original translation by Dr. Patrick Lynch it has been "fully revised and updated" by Dr. Robert Fastiggi, apparently in the light of Ott's 1969 German text of the Fundamentals. The preface to the new edition by Dr. Fastiggi -- full text on the Baronius Press website -- describes at length the revisions made to the translation. In the preface, Fastiggi notes that "(w)hile Fr. Ott made some revisions in 1969, it would be wrong to find in these any notable change in his theological posture from the decade prior to Vatican II. Ludwig Ott always remained faithful to the Church’s perennial Magisterium, and he is careful to distinguish theological speculations from the constant teaching of the Church"

For this edition of the Fundamentals the Foreword came from no other than Bishop Athanasius Schneider. The full text, as provided on the Baronius Press website:

Ludwig Ott’s Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma has proven to be an indispensable guide to Catholic doctrine since it was first published in the 1950’s. Whether in the original language or in its French and English translations, it has been favoured by generations of readers because of its rare combination of relative brevity with comprehensiveness. I congratulate Baronius Press and Dr. Robert Fastiggi for bringing out this comprehensively revised translation of the last edition of the Fundamentals.

We live at a time of grave doctrinal confusion when the sheep are often left without shepherds. Against the dangers of doctrinal ambiguity and the loss of clarity in moral matters, the faithful are called more than ever to seek to know their faith, so they can defend it and pass it on to their children. Catechism is necessary, but perhaps now it is not enough to only know one’s Catechism. The subtlety of the many contemporary errors assaulting the faith practically require from the ordinary faithful today a good understanding of Catholic doctrine that is not separated from its traditional and immutable roots. For this task, Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma is eminently suitable. It presents the immutable truths of Catholic theology backed by the teachings of the Magisterium in the past two millennia, not the latest speculations of fashionable and media-friendly theologians who in reality want another religion. It uses language that is simple and clear – virtues often forgotten today – and is brief enough to fit into one volume. May it help the light of faith shine clearer and brighter for countless Catholic faithful, may it help them live the faith in all its purity. And to all who read this book I grant my blessing.

Titular Bishop of Celerina
Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Saint Mary in Astana

Repost : Did Ludwig Ott infer all this?

NOVEMBER 7, 2016

Did Ludwig Ott infer all this?

Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma
In Response to a Comment on The Remnant Newspaper.
I read The Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma by Ludwig Ott a long time back.I do not have a copy here with me.
What does he say?
1.Does he say that there is connection between the baptism of desire and the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus; all need to receieve the baptism of water in the Catholic Church with no exception?
2.Does he say that the baptism of desire is explicit? It is personally known in the present times?
3.Does he say that the baptism of desire is visible and repeatable like the baptism of water?
4.Does he infer that the baptism of desire and baptism of blood must always exclude the baptism of water in the Catholic Church or always include it?
5.Does he say that in 1949 when the Letter of the Holy Office was issued, there were known cases of the baptism of desire with or without the baptism of water?
If he does not say all this, then is this  your inference ? You infer all this like the liberal theologians did in 1949?
For you it is as follows ?:
1.There is a connection between the baptism of desire and the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) since there are personally known cases, for you, in the present times, saved with the baptism of desire and without the baptism of water. You know of exceptions to EENS.
2.The baptism of desire is explicit for you, objectively seen in personal cases. So it is relevant to EENS.They are visible exceptions to EENS.
3.Since the baptism of desire is visible in personal cases for you, it is something tangible like the baptism of water and so it can be repeatedly given to many, like the baptism of water.
4.The baptism of desire must always exclude the baptism of water, this is what God chose in the past and also for the future in every case of this kind.
5.In 1949 they knew of people who died with the baptism of desire and were saved and are now in Heaven, without the baptism of water in the Catholic Church.

Canon Lawyer Marc Balestrieri does not consider the rejection of Tradition with the use of an irrational premise by Pope Benedict as 'an attenuating factor' for the SSPX to reject Vatican Council II(Cushingite) or for married couples to choose the SSPX chapel to get married.

The Canon Lawyer Marc Balestrieri does not consider the rejection of Tradition with the use of an irrational premise by Pope Benedict as 'an attenuating factor'  for the SSPX to reject Vatican Council II(Cushingite) or for couples to choose the SSPX chapel to get married.1
When Pope Benedict says unknown cases of the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOB and being saved in invincible ignorance(I.I) are known exceptions to Feeneyite extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS), this is irrational and violates the Principle of Non Contradiction. He has  changed the traditional understanding of EENS with this irrationality( invisible people are visible for him). This is an attenuating circumstance.Young Catholics are not obliged to get married where priests who offer Mass in the vernacular reject Tradition, with the use of the same false premise.
When Pope Benedict and Cardinal Luiz Ladaria s.j interpret Lumen Gentium 8  as referring to known people  saved outside the Church, even when there are no such known people, then this becomes a heretical interpretation of Vatican Council II and EENS.This is heresy. It is schism with the past popes. So this is also an attenuating circumstance for the SSPX to reject Vatican Council II ( Cushingite).
Similarly in March 2016(Avvenire) Pope Benedict could have interpreted EENS and Vatican Council II  with Feeneyism.Instead he chose Cushingism as a philosophy and theology to create a rupture with EENS as it was known to the missionaries in the 16th century. This was possible since he interpreted Vatican Council II with Cushingism and so there was a break with the dogma EENS ( Feeneyite). This could be an attenuating factor for Catholics choosing the SSPX chapel to receive the Sacraments.
Then in 2012 the SSPX  General Chapter  Statement affirmed  EENS ( Feeneyite) indicating Vatican Council II ( Feeneyite) was for them not an exception  to EENS ( Feeneyite). This was acceptable for Ecclesia Dei and Pope Benedict. So in 2012 the SSPX was following rational and traditional Catholic doctrine and theology and it was rejected by the Vatican. This is another attenuating factor in favour of the SSPX.
Also the SSPX-Vatican Doctrinal talks were conducted by Pope Benedict with both sides having to interpret Vatican Council II, EENS and the Catechisms with Cushingite reasoning, which is irrational. If they had interpreted BOD, BOB and I.I  with Feeneyism, doctrines would have changed. They would have become traditional.
So there could be Catholics who choose not get married by priests who support Pope Benedict  and their marriage should not be considered invalid. These are attenuating circumstances and a couple could choose the SSPX chapel to receive the Sacraments.-Lionel Andrades

Trump admin investigating states that force pro-life pregnancy centers to promote abortion

WASHINGTON, D.C., May 31, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – The Trump administration is investigating Hawaii and California for forcing pro-life pregnancy centers to promote abortion, according to a new report.
The Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Office of Civil Rights has sent letters to both states notifying them of the investigations.
The letters say the government is looking into whether their requirements that crisis pregnancy centers inform women how to obtain government assistance for abortions violate federal civil rights rules, the Wall Street Journal reports. HHS is also examining California’s mandate that most health insurance plans cover abortions.
Spokesmen for both states’ attorneys general declined to comment on the investigation, while a spokesperson for HHS civil rights chief Roger Severino declined to elaborate on ongoing investigations.
However, the Wall Street Journal obtained a letter in which Hawaii said it would wait to reply until after the Supreme Court renders a verdict in June on the California law forcing pro-abortion speech. Pro-life and pro-abortion activists are watching that case very closely, as the Court’s ruling will have sweeping ramifications for free speech and pro-life healthcare.
Hawaii’s Democratic Gov. David Ige signed SB 501 into law in July 2017. It requires all pregnancy centers in the state to post signs or offer fliers that say the “state of Hawaii provides free or low-cost access to comprehensive family-planning services,” as well as provide a web address and phone number for abortion and contraception referrals.
The pro-life Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) has challenged such laws in multiple states. In September, it asked HHS’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) to investigate whether SB 501 and a similar Illinois law violate the Hawaii state constitution, the U.S. Constitution, and federal law.
HHS confirmed earlier this month that it would investigate Hawaii but had not reached a decision on Illinois.
The investigations are part of a more proactive posture President Donald Trump has asserted for protecting religious liberty and freedom of conscience, with Severino – a longtime social conservative and religious freedom advocate – responsible for overseeing a wide variety of coercion complaints.
Earlier this month, Trump created a White House office dedicated to “ensur[ing] that the faith-based and community organizations that form the bedrock of our society have strong advocates in the White House and throughout the Federal Government.” Part of its mission is to monitor the effectiveness of religious-liberty enforcement and recommend new ways to strengthen protections for Americans’ First Amendment rights.

Whistleblowers expose how Planned Parenthood ignored child rape in latest Live Action video

May 31, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – Live Action released Part 3 of its “Aiding Abusers” video series Thursday, highlighting the firsthand accounts of former Planned Parenthood employees who say the abortion giant routinely refused to report statutory rape and ignored signs that young girls brought in for abortions were being molested.
The “Aiding Abusers” series, launched earlier this week, accuses the nation’s largest abortion company of a “systemic, decades long cover-up of child sexual abuse.” It contrasts Planned Parenthood’s conduct behind closed doors with its public embrace of the #MeToo campaign to end sexual exploitation.
“When it comes to reports of sexual assault and sexual harassment, Planned Parenthood has used the slogan that we should ‘trust women,’ so let’s follow that advice and listen to the testimonies of these four women who are former Planned Parenthood workers and managers who all say the same thing, that Planned Parenthood routinely covers-up child sexual abuse,” Live Action President Lila Rose says at the beginning of the latest video.
In the video, ex-Planned Parenthood employee Catherine Adair quotes former colleagues as dismissing her appeals to report apparent abusers bringing in their victims for abortions by saying, “She’s better off with the abortions. We can’t do anything about what’s going on at home but at least we can give her the abortion.”
Former HIV health educator and Title X training manager Monica Cline says that when she broached the subject with the Planned Parenthood staff of Corpus Christi and the Gulf Coast, they actually laughed at her.
“Honey, if she’s not having sex with this man this week she’ll have another one next week,” Cline recalls the dismissive abortion workers saying.
“We were all required to be mandatory reporters, but if we saw a case… uh… questionable abuse, or even for sure — I mean, this kid is being abused – um, we really were discouraged from calling it in, just because, uh, they didn’t want to have the trouble, the angry parent...the angry boyfriend, whatever it was,” former Planned Parenthood manager Sue Thayer tells Live Action. “So, more than once I was told, ‘No, that is not reportable – you don’t need to call it in.’”
A fourth whistleblower, Marianne Anderson, recalls a “controlling” man who came into the Planned Parenthood where she worked. He was with an Asian girl who didn’t speak English. The man answered questions on her behalf and attempted to prevent one-on-one discussion between the girl and the staff, but through a translation line she eventually described living in a home with many other young women, and little to eat or wear.
“I told my coworker I was thinking about [reporting] this, she says, ‘I would not recommend that unless you want a lot of problems,” Anderson says. She added that the experience left her feeling “degraded, like women don’t really matter.”
Taken together, the testimonies of these four women depict a workplace culture of disinterest in preventing sexual abuse, with what Cline calls a “distorted” and “dehumanized” view of children.
“I don’t know why their hearts are hardened, but they are. And so when a girl or a young man goes there for an abortion, or condoms or testing, they don’t see them with compassion anymore, if they ever did,” Cline explains. “They see them as just, almost like an animal who can’t control themselves; they’re always gonna have sex so we’re just going to give them enough lube and condoms and hope they come in to get tested before they get some kind of cancer. They’re not gonna stop statutory rape.”
The “Aiding Abuse” series’ previous videos detail numerous documented cases in which Planned Parenthood’s refusal to report men who arranged abortions for girls as young as 12 enabled their abusers to continue raping them.
The remaining videos will recap the findings of Live Action’s past undercover investigations into sex abuse and sex trafficking cover-ups at Planned Parenthood, address Planned Parenthood’s false claims to have retrained employees following those investigations, and detail what consequences the offending personnel have faced, if any.

U.S. State Dept: Canadian laws are threatening religious freedom

U.S. State Dept: Canadian laws are threatening religious freedom

WASHINGTON, D.C., May 31, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) — U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo released a report on international religious freedom on Tuesday that includes Canada’s battles over freedom of conscience and parental rights as concerning international incidents.
The report documents Ontario’s Christian doctors’ fight for conscience rights and the government’s inclusion of gender expression and identity in child welfare law. Pro-life and pro-family advocates have warned that the latter gives the state license to remove children from homes if their parents are not accepting enough of the LGBT cause.
Pompeo also announced his department will host a conference on international religious liberty, “Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom,” in Washington.
The meeting of faith leaders and top diplomats from “like-minded governments” around the world is scheduled for July 25 and 26. It will not be a “discussion group” but rather provide an opportunity to “break new ground,” Pompeo told reporters at department headquarters.
“It will be about action,” he said. “We look forward to identifying concrete ways to push back against persecution and ensure greater respect for religious freedom for all.”
Pompeo described religious freedom as the “most fundamental of human rights” and asserted, “the United States will not stand by as spectators” when religious persecution occurs outside its borders.

Ontario government trying to force Christian doctors to refer for abortions

The International Report on Religious Freedom for 2017 is available on the State Department website and is organized by country and area.
It documents incidents concerning religious freedom in all countries regardless of their relationship with the United States, U.S. Ambassador at Large for International Religious Freedom Sam Brownback told reporters Tuesday.
“We put forward in the report everything that’s happening around the world,” Brownback said. “And we report it without favor or analysis.”
He told reporters religious minorities are currently facing a particularly dire and desperate situation in Myanmar, CNN reported.
Hundreds of thousands of mainly Muslim Rohingya have fled to neighboring Bangladesh in the face of systematic violence the report describes as “ethnic cleansing.”
“I don't think you’ve seen progress taking place there in the country,” Brownback said. “If anything, the administration there is doubling, now, its effort in going after the (predominately Christian) Kachin in the northern part of the country.”
North Korea also emerges as an egregious violator of religious rights in the report, which documents “arbitrary executions, political prison camps, and torture amounting to crimes against humanity,” and 80,000 to 120,000 political prisoners incarcerated in North Korea's prison camp system “under horrific conditions.”
As for Canada, the report’s executive summary highlighted the January 29 murder of six worshippers in a Montreal mosque, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s condemnation of this as “a terrorist attack on Muslims.”
It also noted the continued legal fight by “a group of Christian physicians in Ontario” for conscience rights.
The group argued that “provincial regulations requiring doctors to refer patients seeking assisted death, abortion, or contraception to another practitioner, rather than to a registry of licensed physicians that perform such procedures, constituted facilitation and violated constitutional guarantees of freedom of conscience and religion,” stated the report.
An Ontario court quashed the challenge in January 2018, and the group is appealing that ruling.

Ontario Bill 89 allows government to remove children from Christian homes

The report’s summary of “government practices” in Canada noted Ontario amended its laws in June “to add a child’s gender identity and gender expression as factors provincial child welfare authorities should consider in matters of child protection, adoption, and foster care.”
The law “also eliminated consideration of the religious faith in which the parents were raising a child when deciding where and whether to place a child in care,” it stated.
“Some NGOs stated the change could discriminate against parents, adoptive couples, or foster parents with religious beliefs that only recognize marriage between individuals of opposite sexes,” it noted. “They also stated the change could allow child protection services to remove LGBTI-identifying children from the custody of biological parents whose religious beliefs do not support LGBTI persons. Government officials said this was not the intent of the law.”
It reported that the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) in November filed an application for judicial review “on behalf of an evangelical Christian couple” of the Alberta government’s decision to deny them “the ability to adopt a child because of their religious beliefs.”
Alberta’s child welfare services allegedly told the couple those beliefs “appeared to ‘reject’ children who identify as LGBTI.”
The JCCF’s application argued the decision “was unreasonable and arbitrary, and violated the couple’s right to religious freedom under the constitution and the Alberta Human Rights Act,” it stated.
The JCCF announced on May 2, 2018 that the Alberta government had reversed the decision.
The report also noted that Canada’s Supreme Court in December heard “appeals of provincial court decisions on accreditation for future graduates of Trinity Western University (TWU) Law School, a Christian university in B.C..”
“In June 2016 an Ontario appeals court found the Ontario law society’s decision to bar future TWU graduates from receiving provincial legal accreditation was reasonable. The law society argued that TWU’s requirement that students sign a ‘Christian covenant’ pledging to abstain from sexual relations outside heterosexual marriage discriminated against homosexuals and violated same-sex equality laws,” it stated.
“In contrast, the B.C. Court of Appeal found unlawful the B.C. law society’s decision to deny accreditation on the same grounds,” the report stated.
And, “in 2016 a Nova Scotia appeals court ruled that province’s law society exceeded its jurisdiction in denying accreditation to future TWU graduates because TWU was located in B.C. and therefore outside the jurisdiction of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Act.”
The Supreme Court’s decision on TWU is still pending.
