Sanborn,Cekada's sedevacantism 'for ol' times sake'

On line there are reports by Bishop Donald Sanborn and Fr.Anthony Cekada  criticizing Fr. Leonard Feeney, they are amusing now, since we know that Vatican Council II supports Fr. Leonard Feeney's 'rigorist interpretation' of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS).

When they wrote their reports for their sedevacatist community in the USA they did not know all this. Their mistake was that they used the Cushingite method to interpret EENS and Vatican Council II.

So now what is the point of remaining in sedevacantism because of Vatican Council II? The Council is not a rupture with Tradition anymore.It does not contradict the Syllabus of Errors and the past ecclesiology of the Church.

It is time for them to admit that they were wrong all these years.I have mentioned this before.Over the last few years I have been saying the same thing.But why don't they make an announcement?

It is obvious that they made a theological and philosophical mistake.

In the past they chose sedevacantism since Vatican Council II(C) was a rupture with Tradition. This is true.Vatican Council II(Cushingite) is a rupture with Tradition.

Though now they have a choice now. They can interpret Vatican Council II with Feeneyism and there will be no  rupure with Tradition.

Lumen Gentium 16 can be interpreted as referring to invisible people in 2018, hypothetical cases only.

All these years they mistakenly interpreted Lumen Gentium 16 as referring to known people saved outside the Church.

So now they know that they made a mistake and they have a choice.

So what is the point of still staying in sedevacantism ? For ol' times sake?

The baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOB) and invincible ignorance(I.I) can be interpreted only as hypothetical cases.It is the same with LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22, AG 11, etc. So hypothetical cases are not examples of known salvation in personal cases outside the Church in 2018.

Bishop Sanborn's report on Vatican Council II on the home page of the community's website is false.He needs to update it and issue a correction. They also need to acknowledge the posts on the this blog which addresses them specifically  and on specific points.-Lionel Andrades
