Like Archbishop Guido Pozzo you may say that Vatican Council II has a  hermeneutic of continuity with the past but this is false.

Archbishop Guido Pozzo cannot affirm EENS(Feeneyite) , the Syllabus of Errors and the past ecclesiology of the Catholic Church. He refuses to do so.

Since for him LG 16 must refer to visible people saved outside the Church and so in this way the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) becomes obsolete and Fr. Leonard Feeney emerges wrong.The Holy Office would not have made a mistake for him in 1949.

Obviously LG 16 is a rupture with the Syllabus of Errors and EENS for him.

LG 16 refers to known people saved outside the Church in invincible ignorance.He can allegedly meet and see them today.So they are objective exceptions to EENS as it was interpreted by the Magisterium in the 16th century.

Archbishop Guido Pozzo is not allowing the Ars Celebrandi participants to interpret Vatican Council II and the Catechisms with Feeneyism( invisible people are invisible only). Since then there will not be a rupture with EENS , which he will not affirm in public
