For clarity, the group on the SPLC's list is NOT the group in
Still River but the recalcitrant Feenyites in New Hampshire.
The Friends of the St. Benedict Center are supporters of
the New Hampshire group, not the orthodox and traditional
group at Still River, MA.
The bishop of Manchester is VERY supportive of the Latin
Mass and actively promotes it in his diocese. The Benedict
Center in NH is, however, supportive of Feeneyism and has
been warned several times not to engage it the heresy. I just
wanted to put out that information because the above article
mentions the monastery in Still River which is orthodox,
traditional, not on an SPLC watch list, and not affiliated
with the NH group anymore due to doctrinal issues, while
the center in New Hampshire is heretical, feigns tradition,
on the SPLC watch list for very good reasons, and has no
canonical standing either with their former brothers in Still
River or with the diocese.
