Lumen Gentium 8 and BOD,BOB and I.I are hypothetical and theoretical and are not exceptions to the dogma EENS. Yet for Bishop Keven Rhoades they are exceptions. This is a big mistake of the USCCB Doctrinal Committee Chairman

Bishop Kevin Rhoades, the new Chairman of the USCCB Doctrinal Committee makes an error in the interpretation of Vatican Council II and the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS).
In his recent radio program he cites Lumen Gentium 8, 'elements of sanctification and truth', as if it is an example of known salvation outside the Church and so an exception to the dogma EENS.
This is irrational.
1.Practically there are no known people saved outside the Church with 'elements of sanctification and truth'.
2.The text of Lumen Gentium 8 does not state that there are physically visible non Catholics saved outside the Church.
3.Common sense tells us it is a reference to a hypothetical case. It is speculation with good will, something hoped for.
Neither is Nostra Aetate an exception to   the dogma no salvation outside the Church.
MISTAKE ON EENS TOO
Similarly he will not affirm EENS as it was known to the missionaries and Magisterium of the 16th century.
He made a mistake again.
1.Practically there are no known people saved outside the Catholic Church with the baptism of desire(bod), baptism of blood(BOB) and in invincible ignorance(I.I). We cannot see or meet any one saved as such in 2018 or over the last 100 years. The Holy Office 1949 made a mistake in the Fr. Leonard Feeney case.
2.Common sense tells us that BOD, BOB and I.I are not physically visible cases and neither do the popes and saints claim they are.The Catechism of Pope Pius X mentions being saved in invincible ignorance and does not state that it refers to someone known. Similtaneously this Catechism says all need to be members of the Catholic Church for salvation and it does not mention any exceptions.
3.In general people will say that BOD,BOB and I.I refer to hypothetical cases.
So Lumen Gentium 8 and BOD,BOB and I.I are hypothetical and theoretical and are not exceptions to the dogma EENS.
Yet for Bishop Keven Rhoades they are exceptions. This is a big mistake.

Vatican Council II supports traditional EENS and Bishop Kevin Rhoades, like Cardinal Donald Wuerl and Cardinal Luiz Ladaria, cannot say it

When Bishop Kevin Rhoades infers that Lumen Gentium and Nostra Aetate say we know of non Catholics saved outside the Church it is irrational and heretical: Vatican Council II does not contradict traditional extra ecclesiam nulla salus

Bishop who interprets Vatican Council II and outside the Church with no salvation with irrational Cushingism instead of traditional Feeneyism is the new Chairman of the USCCB Doctrinal Committee
