Lionel: They did not clarify that the baptism of desire is not visible or repeatable like the baptism of water and there are no baptism of desire cases which can be judged and known to us human beings.

The Council of Trent (held to counter Martin Luther's “Justification by Faith Alone”) defined that the absolution of original sin can only be by the Sacrament of Baptism. (Session 6 Chapter 7), nor is there salvation without water baptism. (Session 7 Canon 2)

Lionel: I agree.Supporters also include the present two popes who interpret the baptism of desire with Cushingism i.e they refer to personally known people saved outside the Church. So they become exceptions to EENS.
Even Michael Voris, Christine Niles and the others at Church Militant TV interpret the baptism of desire with Cushingism.They also interpret Vatican Council II ( LG 8, LG 14, LG 16 etc) with Cushingim, which results in heresy.It is the same with Boniface on the blog Unam Sanctam Catholicam.
