Instead Pope Paul VI was saying that this was not the teaching of Vatican Council II ( interpreted with Cushingism).Mixed marriages were not mortal sins of adultery any more. There was no more any traditional mission since there was alleged known salvation outside the Church.Protestants could be saved in their religion as anonymous Christians.This was the false interpretation of Vatican Council II also by the cardinals, bishops and priests.The religion had been changed.Even the Lefebvrists did not say that Vatican Council II ( Feeneyite) supports the traditional interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS), the past ecclesiology , an ecumenism of return and the Syllabus of Errors. So there could still be the proclamation of the Social Reign of Christ the King and the non separation of Church and State.

Try and picture the reaction of the laity today (2019) if some cardinals and bishops would say outside the Church there is no salvation according to Vatican Council II(Feeneyite) and all non Catholics are oriented to Hell unless they enter the Church with faith and the baptism of water.It would be electric.-Lionel Andrades
