Also two theological papers of the International Theological Commission, Vatican, exhibit the error prominently and should be removed.They are Christianity and the World Religions(1997) and The Hope of Salvation for Infants who die without being baptism (2007).

Vatican Council II has a mistake. It was a subtle oversight. The mistake at the Council, violates the Principle of Non Contradiction. New books need to be written on the Council without the error.

Pope Francis has based much of his pontificate on Vatican Council II and keeps citing it.Pope Benedict did the same.

LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3,NA 2, GS 22 etc should not have been mentioned in the Council. There are no such people personally known in 1965-2020 saved without faith and the baptism of water.These are only references to hypothetical and theoretical cases only.We cannot meet or see someone saved outside the Church and instead as referenced in LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc.

So there is really nothing in Vatican Council II to contradict the past exclusivist ecclesiology, an ecumenism of return and EENS as it was known to the missionaries in the 16th century.

New books need to be written which interpret the Council as traditional. The present ones, it needs to be acknowledged, have a built-in error.
 

Cardinal Reinhardt Marx must not  allow the present books, in the libraries and universities in Germany, to be given to students for study and research.

Vatican Council II can be interpreted with what I call Cushingism or Feeneyism, and Pope Benedict can no more cite Vatican Council II  Cushingite, to support a secular state and the separation of Church and State in government.

This is the only blog which has reports on this error and there have been no denials from any one.After all, it is common sense that there are no objective cases of LG 8 etc in 2020.

Traditionalist blogs have criticized Vatican Council II but not pointed out that LG 8, LG 14, LG 16 etc refer to only hypothetical cases and so the Council supports the past ecclesiology, an ecumenism of return and Feeneyite EENS.

Instead they have interpreted LG 8 etc as being exceptions to 16th century EENS, implying that there are personally known people, physically visible, for them to be exceptions.The same mistake was made by the liberals. The popes, cardinals and bishops accepted the liberal interpretation of Vatican Council II and the traditionalists rejected it but groups used a false premise in the interpretation of the Council.LG 8, LG 14, LG 16 etc does not refer to an invisible person who is visible in the present times ( 1965-2020) and who is in Heaven without faith and baptism. If such a person existed he or she would only be known to God.

Such a person cannot be in two places at the same time. Yet the interpretations of Vatican Council II imply that there are visible people in Heaven saved without the baptism of water and they are saved instead with the baptism of desire(LG 14) etc, and they are visible and known on planet earth.-Lionel Andrades

John Henry Weston and LifeSite correspondents interpret Vatican Council II with a false premise and inference and are unable to see how the Council can be interpreted without the irrationality.They accept the books by Pope Benedict in which he has also interpreted Vatican Council II with the same irrational premise and inference, to create a non traditional conclusion.

It is unethical for Pope Benedict to keep this article in German on line and mislead people. Similarly it is unethical for Ferrara and Mattei to keep promoting their books with the error.This is dishonesty.
