The New Directory for Catechesis prepared by the Pontifical Council for Promoting New Evangelisation is flawed on doctrine and theology.

The New Directory for Catechesis prepared by the Pontifical Council for Promoting New Evangelisation is flawed on doctrine and theology. The Directory is  based on Vatican Council II interpreted with a false premise instead of without it. It is being sold in English by the USCCB according to their website.
Without the false premise the Church would return to their being exclusive salvation in only the Catholic Church. This was how the missionaries in the 16th century interpreted extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) and did their catechesis and mission.
Now with the fake premise, evangelisation is based on a vague concept of salvation in Jesus, separated from the faith and moral teachings of the Church. It is salvation in Jesus without having to be a member of the Catholic Church with faith and baptism. So theologically Catholics lose their identity.
This is schism with the past popes on EENS. The Athanasius Creed  which says all need Catholic faith for salvation is rejected and so is the Syllabus of Errors of Pope Pius IX and the Catechism of Pope Pius X ( 24 Q, 27 Q).
This is the result of interpreting Vatican Council II by wrongly assuming that LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc refer to objective cases of salvation outside the Church. When really they can only be hypothetical and theoretical for us human beings. If any one is saved outside the Church it can only be known to God. The norm for salvation is faith and the baptism of water( Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II ) in the Catholic Church.
Now with the common fake premise the Creeds and Catechisms are contradicted and the Catechisms contradict itself. There is confusion on doctrine, division in the church and a new revelation on salvation.
Pope Benedict XVI appointed Dr. Ralph Martin as a Consultor to the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelization. In 2012 he was appointed by Pope Benedict XVI as an expert for the World Synod of Bishops on the New Evangelization.Martin a professor of theology at the Sacred Heart Major Seminary, Detroit, USA has been confusing possibiities of salvation, which exist only in the mind,as actual people saved outside the Church. They are known non Catholics saved without Catholic faith. So LG 8, LG 14, LG 16 etc become exceptions to the strict interpretation of EENS. He would use the false premise, looking at LG 8 etc as not invisible but visible, not unknown in practical cases but known.
This was the original mistake in the Letter of the Holy Office 1949(LOHO) to the Archbishop of Boston relative to Fr. Leonard Feeney. The liberal theologians accepted it, and referenced it in Vatican Council II and the Denzinger, with its mistake. A New Theology has been created based on the baptism of desire and invincible ignorance being exceptions to EENS.

Professor Robert Fastiggi is also professor at the same seminary, who along with Bishop Athanasius Schneider approved The Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma  by Ludwig Ott.It over looked the mistake in the LOHO and then Vatican Council II.
The Rector of this seminary in Detroit, Mons. Todd Lajiness, approves the mandatum  to teach theology in other Catholic universities, based on their use of the false premise to interpret Vatican Council II. The use of the false premise is obligatory for the liberal USCCB.
Catechesis today is not the same as it was for the missionaries in the 16th century.Today even for Lefbvrist traditionalists EENS has exceptions of the baptism of desire, baptism of blood and invincible ignorance. It is no different from the liberals. While Feeneyite traditionaliss, like the St. Benedict Center, Still River, interpret Vatican Council II with exceptions to Feeneyite EENS and so live in full communion with the heretical Congregation for Doctrine of faith and the present two popes and their diocesan bishop.. Even the cardinals and bishops do  interpret Magisterial  documents ( Creeds, Vatican Council II etc) without the false premise and inference and now a new Catechesis Directory has been produced which repeats the doctrinal eror of the Church.-Lionel Andrades
