Fr.Stefano Manelli F.I and the 'Latin group' of the Franciscans of the Immaculate were using the false premise to interpret the baptism of desire, baptism of blood and invincible ignorance. So there were false exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS). This is explained in an Italian translation of the book on apologetics written originally by Fr. William Most.It's translation was approved by Fr. Stefano Manelli and the other Franiciscan Friars.It was being distributed at F.I chapels and churches
