Check out any book on Vatican Council II. The writer will have probably assumed LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3,NA2, GS 22 etc are exceptions to EENS, the Syllabus of Errors, the Athanasius Creed and exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church. This is irrational. But it is common. It's like a virus in the Church. -Lionel Andrades
