If someone is saved in 'imperfect communion with the Church' it can only be known to God.We cannot know of an anonymous Christian in Heaven. So in Unitatitis Redintigratio there are only speculative cases. We cannot say there were 20 anonymous Christians saved outside the Church last year and 25 the previous year.So there are no practical exceptions to EENS and the Athanasius Creed , mentioned in Unitatits Redintigratio, the Decree on Ecumenism in Vatican Council II
