The whole Church can go back to Tradition but the error of Archbishop Lefebvre and his followers is preventing it.They criticize the New Theology and yet interpret Vatican Council II with the New Theology and then they reject the conclusion and wrongly blame the Council. The liberals justify their use of the false premise since even the traditionalists, who generally oppose them, are doing the same thing. Without the New Theology there would no be the liberal-traditionalist division. Since the liberals would not be able to quote Cushingite passages in Vatican Council II and then pretend that they are exceptions to the Feeneyite ones, and the rest of Tradition.
