 All these years Vatican Council II was being interpreted with a false premise and the liberalism( New Ecumenism, New Theology, New Ecclesiology etc) was presented unchecked in the pontifical universities while conservative seminarians were removed by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger.

Now that he and the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith know that the Council can be interpreted without the false premise, he and the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith,  is not acknowldging the error and correcting it.-Lionel Andrades
