When Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger wrote Redemptoris Missio and Dominus Iesus and produced the Catechism of the Catholic Church, while interpreting Vatican Council II and past Church documents, with a false premise, he was creating division within the Church. It was division with the past Magisterium which did not use the false premse and inference to reject EENS and exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church.
