There is no denial from him. He will concede that he used a false premise to interpret especially extra ecclesiam nulla salus and Vatican Council II.

All the German bishops, with no known exception,  interpret LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc as an exception to EENS according to St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Augustine.
