A Cushingite cannot be a traditionalist.Since he or she will reject extra ecclesiam nulla salus ( EENS), the Athanasius Creed and the past exclusivist ecclesiology of the Catholic Church with the use of the false premise, which creates a New Theology.

Similarly with the false premise and New Theology the Cushingite will accept the New Ecumenism, New Ecclesiology, New Evangelisation etc.

The traditionalists today will criticize the New Ecumenism but also interpret Vatican Council II with the false premise. So as Cushingites they will support the New Ecumenism. -Lionel Andrades
