These liberals writers are not asking Pope Francis to clarify this issue and only interpret Vatican Council II without the fake premise

 Massimo Faggioli, John Allen, Michael Sean Winters and Joshua Elwee are not announcing in public  that they believe Vatican Council II does not contradict the strict interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) since LG 8, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, Gs 22  etc refer to only hypothetical  cases in 2021.The Council  was always  ecclesiocentrism and so traditional. These liberals had in the past created political division, theological division,  in the Church by rejecting the Syllabus of Errors, Athanasius Creed  and 16th century EENS.They made these Church documents when they interpreted Vatican Council II with a false premise creating alleged practical exceptions to EENS etc. 

There is no progressivist-traditionalist division when Vatican Council II is interpreted without the false premise. The Church becomes ecclesiocentric. There is an exclusivist ecclesiology  which supports Tradition in general. 

These liberals writers are not asking Pope Francis to clarify this issue and only interpret Vatican Council II without the fake premise.Instead they are attacking the traditionalists and asking them to accept Vatican Council II as if there is only a Vatican Council II with an irrational premise.-Lionel Andrades
